It`s just part of the growth, don`t take anything personal. Anyone has a right to be free on blockchain, there are good and bad people like everywhere, smart and stupid, and so on. Point is that all this alts, icos that means more alts and tokens, are good for crypto, some of them are bad, some of them are scams, but at least we know that the best one will survive all that, its a struggle. Market has its ups and downs, normally, we all do, everything do, its how something is being adopted on every level, accepted as something trustworthy, its a process! Everything has a process, we are just in depression now, but we will recover from that and rise again, the strong ones always do, rest will fall.

Bitcoins will rise soon and there are more chances for the price of bitcoins to cross $ 50000 USD, all the investors are waiting for rally to start up, every day new cryptocurrencies are entering the market and some of them are a mere copy of the original version of the whitepaper, and so there is no possibility for new alternative coins to sustain in the market for longer but there are also good potential altcoins in the market which will prolong and Bitcoin will always ruin the cryptocurrency market.
Anything will be possible at the next year because 2019 will not be expected by the people if it is gone wrong then all problem will increase to the investors but a lot of people will accept this downfall in 2018 but the New Year will be the year for the development of cryptocurrency journey.
The point here is that everything in the whole world dropped a lot, stocks dropped, forex dropped, so why shouldn't bitcoin too ?
I know people have been critical of bitcoin for a while but just because there was a decline one year we can't really say bitcoin could be defeated. I mean maybe the 20 thousand dollars was the fluke ?
Maybe the price went from being 800-1500 dollars last year to 4 thousand dollars this year if you could just omit the 20 thousand in between ?
We are just living in a time where we have seen the 20 thousand dollars price of bitcoin and everything else and we know what it could be one day so we just can't wait for it to go back to those prices and call this a let down when we see prices go down.

The price of 20000 dollars for each bitcoin was definitely out of line, it was not a real reflection of the price of bitcoin, I am just as speculating but for what I am seeing I will say that the real price of bitcoin should be something between 8000 and 10000 that is why I think a small recovery will be possible during the next year but it is not going to be a bull market like the one many are expecting but I'm sure that many people will be grateful if we saw prices like that. Yeah, the trust level for crypto currencies has drop, but bitcoin will still stand high, its true that bitcoin still weak in some factors, but that doesn't mean that bitcoin couldn't improve, and bitcoin wont suddenly die
But I'm not seeing people are losing their trust level toward bitcoin due to the downfall we had in 2018. Interestingly, the people I have seen, are finding it as their opportunity of entering as they have already started showing interest in bitcoin when it was trading around $20k. Actually they are waiting for right time to buy and it has finally arrived for them. Because, if you go for studying how bitcoin prices are trading then you will never lose your confident on it. Yes, extreme ups and downs are very much common with bitcoin prices.2019 will be another phase for crypto many companies already start to interested in crypto, I think bitcoin will be affected by this incident, so I don't see any major change or rise in going to happen in 2019, but I believe bitcoin will got more support
Yes, from common people to institutional fund managing houses start showing interest in adopting bitcoin for gaining maximum returns for their capital. When more people are getting into bitcoin, we can see bitcoin will be flying again.

It is really difficult for other crypto currencies to defeat BTC. I am agree that many crypto currencies, specially tokens will disappear from the market. There are few currencies like RKT and MTC, these are finished and they were in very good standing in early days of listings. Lesson to learn is that company has to work all the time to keep their currency moving.
Dont make vs between BTC and scamers tokens ,BTC is just starting its way and i think 2019 would be god year for BTC adoptaion and many countries would accept it.

Cryptocurrency market is not the only market that experience dropped so much, it is true that even stock market and forex are also experience big drop. Bitcoin is now recovering and it is now coming back to its normal price, I am sure that the cryptocurrency market have a bright future. Yes, I agree, there will be many crypto that die either because they cannot compete or become scams. This is natural because most of my opinion is rubbish. But if we talk about bitcoin this might be different. I do not agree if bitcoin is still weak and will be defeated by other coins. Even though the price is falling very far but this is the beginning of the development and adoption of bitcoin. I believe that adoption in 2019 will increase, this is because of the trend in digital payments, so that bitcoin is being used by people. So bitcoin is not weak and no coin will be able to defeat it in terms of development. And in my opinion political factors will not affect the development of bitcoin as a whole.
Bitcoin will be keep on higher price and always have support from investor, many investor still trust with bitcoin and altcoin investment at the future and bring new hope with bitcoin price will be on higher.

If bitcoin was nit defeated in 2018 ,I doubt if there I anything again that is capable of defeating it in the future. The year alone recorded some high levels of low and unstability in the history of bitcoin which made many think that bitcoin's end was close but in all this, bitcoin is still standing tall despite its current value in the market.

I get distracted with some predictions and I think it could be true: that there are 2-3 more bull runs before the coin price stabilizes. There is the fear that the SEC approval might affect the space on the long run and the new year comes with the high expectations of the SEC approval. There are still fewer owners of bitcoin in the world and some may lost hope getting on the space in a bear market.
