People have wished for the replacement of bitcoin probably since day one and that has not happened and it is unlikely that it will happen, you just need to look at the bitcoin dominance during this year, if people were losing faith in bitcoin then when the price was going down what we should have seen is that altcoins became more and more dominant in the market, but what we saw was the opposite even when the price of bitcoin was crashing the price of altcoins was crashing even faster showing that the confidence in bitcoin is still very high.

As for the many coins with fake team, fake promises and sugar-coated white papers majority of them are dead anyways and that's even make it difficult for good projects to raise adequate funds this year.
As for Bitcoin, I still believe there's the potential for Bitcoin to perform well. The future is still bright because if we were gonna see a universal ban, it would've happen by now.

I think that next year will be a year of growth for a cryptocurrency market. Falling trend already tired of all. I am sure that whales will move prices up. Moreover, it is rumored that institutional investors are ready to invest in the market.

Fluctuatif is normal for bitcoin. what do you mean with "defeated"? you mean bankrupt? you're right, many people say that bitcoin will die in a few years. well, basically, bitcoin does experience a decline and increase every year. it's just that 2017 has experienced a very high increase, and 2018 has decreased very far. well, this is a natural thing. It will take a very long time before we began to see bitcoin been overtake by another coins. I think now should be the best time for us to invest into bitcoin and leave those coins that you referred to as whitepaper. Bitcoin has proven to be the future of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. I think in the next 20 year bitcoin will remain the dominant coin.

I don't think there are any factors that can make it disappear from the market. It is really a crypto without the most advanced technology. it is currently obsolete compared to the speed of development. but it will still be in the 1st position because organizations hold BTC and see it as the most valuable crypto.

I didn't know Cryptos and weather could be compared, and who are these many people did they even own coins before or are you relying on the mainstream media headlines. The tokens you refer are Ico's which are not good, and people need to do their own due diligence rather blame the market. I don't understand what you mean by it'll fall, bitcoins has seen days like these before it's slowly and steadily growing and it'll stay strong in 2019 too.

The recent decline in the price has nothing to do with a decline in the interest that people have for the technology. We had a bunch of speculators in 2017 that saw an opportunity to make a lot of money and they pumped the shit out of the price to maximize their profits.

A lot of other people thought this was the big push to the Moon and they jumped in and we saw a massive increase in the price. Then these people took their profits and they left the scene with a lot of profit. Now, during the correction phase, a lot of people think that it is the end of Bitcoin, but they are wrong.

This is just a correction phase and the start of real adoption. Wink

Even if BTC price dips to its lowest more people will buy soon because they know it will be more than what it is after it. Price may dip to $1 but it will not be defeated, it will survive just as how it survived the last time fud spreads over the internet. Eventually after months probably years, these will all die out and BTC will keep rising again. I doesn't matter how long, it will still survive.

Yes, it seems to "~~cold~~ cool down" these days because of some of you new guys who came into the industry believing that they could easily have their slices of the supposed 'quick rich' and then run off. LMAO...It isn't that way as all have seen and many are already stuck in with their cash trapped. However, I do not see bitcoin going down and not rising. Check the historical data, what is happening now had happened in the past. Nothing new. Bitcoin is a Phoenix.

Only time will tells.

If there is one altcoins that would emerge with low supply and has a good product usage, then maybe we can say that it might beat Bitcoin. Maybe in the future but as of now, as far as we can see, Bitcoin is still the best crypto right now.

I don't think it will happened because as of now this year was not actually worst of all, but as you can see the market was very low and there are some Altcoins which are worthless for now due to the problem of the market. Maybe by the end of this year, we all know we're expecting about the bull run and soon it will give us a good benefit of holding some of our Bitcoins/Altcoins.
