Ethereum is no doubt a good project and there will always demand of Ethereum, but Ethereum will never beats Bitcoin. Ethereum will remain the 1st place of Altcoins.
It is not possible for ethereum to beat bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king of crypto currency market. So bitcoin is almost unbeatable. Although ethereum has a bright future but bitcoin will take place number 1 on crypto market.
When it comes to this market, people will mention Bitcoin more because this is the coin that decides the whole trend of the crypto market. This is a very lame comparison because every coin has its own strengths and certainly Bitcoin will always be in the number one position in this market. It is possible that Ethereum has a brighter future, but in order to gain the number one position of Bitcoin, the coin needs to change more because the market capitalization of these two coins is not in balance.
I agree with you Diskodasa! Bitcoin will be number one, but as you say if Ethereum make some changes, develop further,
we can see changes on top too. But it's not something that can happen quickly, it will take time, and Bitcoin can change and
develop. I am trying to be open minded for everything here, and for all the possible changes that can happen.

Eth cannot be top 1 crypto currency because bitcoin is the first one pioneered who had been recognized to be wireless p2p transactions ever made for people to use. Altcoins only was created to back up it features and also to people to have alternatives to use likely to BTC.

Just like btc whenever the price falls Eth should be bought because on the rally these are some of the coins which spike very quickly and can yield you good profits in short time. If it does happen someday it will certainly change the order of cryptocurrency that we know that now their average conversion using bitcoin is unlikely to be changed by ethereum. although I myself am also sure that such a thing would seem difficult to implement now or in the near future replace bitcoin

ETH will never be able to surpass Bitcoin in this market. The gap between them is too far and I cannot find any reason for the price of ETH to increase 20 times compared to the present. Also ETH will be the king of altcoin in this market
It is the reason why we hold bitcoin because it will never happen.And for ethereum, we have the same thought that it's a good altcoin despite these comparisons.

Bitcoin is highe above others. It's not like any other coins is close to Bitcoin in any way, but still people talk about coins that
can replace Bitcoin.
Ethereum is great investment, I put it on top right after Bitcoin, but all other coins are far away from these two. I don't say
things can't change, but those changes will not happen in next 10 years or more. And changes come in some far future it's
good to have some other coins that in some theory can replace this first two.
I'm not sure that in 2020, Ethereum would be the number one coin. As of 2019, the surge in the Ethereum price is not high. But I am glad that from the beginning of the year 2020 Ethereum price slowly climbed. I read a lot of news on social media that the year 2020 Ethereum price will grow. So this became my consideration ingredient to keep Ethereum hold.
I am very optimistic if this year's Ethereum will give you many advantages. I bought this coin from the year 2019 and currently gives me a profit.

there is . i see people defend bitcoin that much just because btc is on top and they have .
they already forgot that btc was almost beaten up last time by an altcoin . i think that can happen again . eth 2.0 can give eth a big boost and chances of fighting for the number 1 spot will be tougher now . im a fan of both coin and who ever wins the top spot itl still be okay for me . both coins have thier updates , btc was done but the effect is not feel yet.

There is a good battle between ETH and bitcoin but it is very rare to say that Ethereum will get the 1st position after beating bitcoin. Bitcoin has now become a one types of global currency. All around the world people now using btc even Ethereum has lots of community members too but the main reason is that bitcoin supply is very limited and now spreading in masses gaining the fund into it. Very difficult for eth to beat bitcoin or reach top in 2020. That is my point of view.

The comparison of Ethereum with Bitcoin is totally wrong, you can compare Eth with other altcoins like bitcoinABC , BitcoinSV, etc. Bitcoin has no competitor yet because of it’s decentralisation and fluctuations. Bitcoin has potential to give you 1000$ profit in just few hours while in case of ETh you should hold for at least 6-7 months or may be year.
