Bitcoin will always and be number one, ethereum Cannot be compared to bitcoin, it will remain behind bitcoin, the market cap alone is overwhelming, I think ethereum needs to step it's game up before other altcoins overtake it, such as Xrp or perhaps bnb

I don't think Ethereum has any chance of overtaking Bitcoin, I don't think anyone will ever be able to overtake Bitcoin, because everyone depends on Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is always chosen by many investors and of course brings better profits because if this coin loses more than 80% value, it will certainly not be dared to invest in the crypto market. I think Bitcoin is still a potential coin for everyone and recently the coin is starting to rise. If compared to the previous month, this is a very good time for you to invest now.

Its almost many years has passed bitcoin are still in the number one spot, And yes no one in crypto for now could be surpass it. Even if the therium are cant go into a number one spot. And maybe etherium will be still in a number two in crypto because of these was to hard to climb and get the 1st place. Ill think we know about these and maybe in a future theres a chance for etherium to be a number one.

Gone are the days wherein any supposed promises or hype would cause FOMO (unless your BTC), of course.

Nowadays, the proof should definitely be in the pudding already and if you want to be #1 (or at least high above the list to possibly challenge BTC), you must find a technical reason to back you up (to prove to everyone), that you're the next big thing in crypto (after BTC was created)!

No coin can compete with Bitcoin because this is the number one coin in this market and all altcoins now rely heavily on Bitcoin's price increase. I think Ethereum will forever be in the 2nd position or maybe down to the lower position because recently the value of ETH has not improved much and the covid-19 situation is making things worse.

I agree with the colleague's opinion above that it is difficult to be able to replace Bitcoin to remain a sought after and most targeted coin to be the main investment. It is true that all altcoins are dependent on growth rather than bitcoins, that dependence is very much apparent. but I still believe that ethereum is still the best altcoin and there is no altcoin which until now is very prominent to be able to replace ethereum.

ETH is a very promising coin, but I don't think it will take first place in the market, in general I think that no one can beat Bitcoin in all the time because Bitcoin is the strongest coin.

We have to accept this fact since altcoins doesn’t created to beat bitcoin on top but to help and give people more option under the blockchain technology and that position will only available for bitcoin. On a recent pump, ETH doesn’t failed us because its also active just like bitcoin and its good to know that ETH still remain as the top altcoins.

In other words, no alts will replace bitcoin this year or for the next coming years. It will be years in the making before a coin can replace the popularity of bitcoin. So even if eth has good development, I don't think it will ever replace btc. Maybe in the future, as everything is possible but not now. Also, even if there are alts who are trying to replace bitcoin in terms of its performance, which a lot of projects had already tried before, they will find the toughest challenge of getting users on board.
