But i will speculate on this. As far as i know , he is not the head of ETh development team as in he does not call al the shots, ETH is decentralized.
If this event occurs, then the only damage would be that people would be in panic mode and sold, but this would happen only in short term

Nothing will happen. His place will be taken by other people in the team. He's not the only one working. He now seems to me to be just an ideological character.
I do not think that Ethereum will survive without Buterin. But on the other hand, BTC is doing really well, without any leader. Nobody still knows for sure, who was Satoshi and the Bitcoin functions pretty well.

I don't think the project will fail as there would be other developers who could further develop Ethereum. This is a good reminder for ETH community. Right now, the face of Ethereum is too focused on Vitalik. Unlike Bitcoin where there are some key people but no one dominates.
Although Vitalik is a leader, I also believe that the company will not only have one key person. Stronger companies have more talents. When things like that really happen, I believe that someone can be a new leader.

Well I guess if vitalik dies, ethereum will continue to flourish in the crypto world however with genius like vitalik, his predecessor might get difficulty in the blockchain of ethereum unless vitalik was able to teach everything about it. But lets not hope vitalik will die. He contributed too much in the crypto community.

Ethereum will still be around, although some will panic sell, thinking the value of Ethereum could be affected by its creator death.
I think Ethereum will still around, it is a program that exist on computer or servers, it doesn't depend on someones life.

In this case ETH will fall immediately, once upon a time fake news about Vitalik death has appeared and ETh has fallen that day. But at the same time Vitalik has team which can develop ethereum as well. As for me, I would sell ethereum at the moment of news, but later, after certain stability i would buy back ethereum for lower price, because it remains potential coin and there is no coin which is close to ETH sucess.

I don't assume thus, a bit like bitcoin once Satoshi Nakamoto nonexistent in void bitcoin still survived and even pump. Ethereum can live once Vilatik dies as a result of they're a team that developed that platform and it's not an honest move to possess solely one one who is aware of that platform.
If ethereum fails than it is the same thing like if Steve Jobs dies also the Apple company would fail or would bankrupted which is not true and we have seen in the past years.

Great question! After all its like asking whether the kingdom will survive after the death of king or not. Well after the kings death the kingdom will be handed over to someone else who has the higher authorities in their hands. If somehow the next person is strong enough in making the project assurances then I guess ETH would be really fine all the time. However, if that person failed to manage and show people the proof of work then it could be disturber in the ETH platform and people may switch to number of platforms available out there. Yes, Vitalik does hold very much important authority in managing the stuff around it and that smart kiddo keeps the market alive all the time. So many things can change if goes away. But lets not hope so soon.

It seems to me that the disappearance of Buterin (it does not matter whether it is death or simply it will stop working) will not affect the situation with ethereum. Yes, maybe from the beginning it will have a negative impact, but then everything will recover.
There are many examples in history when the founders died, or stopped working in their companies, but companies continued to work and make a profit. So it will be with ethereum, it is a finished work product that followers of Buterin can develop.
