ICO is a splendid idea. We can’t take that away from it. If scams come in, then we just have to find a way to regulate the market.

I'm currently working on my master thesis about ICO ratings. For this purpose I prepared a short survey (about 4 minutes) for ICO investors. If you could help me out here I'd be delighted. Every Year new and new ico's are coming up, New ideas are emerging but fall in crypto market is negative impact on ICO. I still have ICO confidence that it will grow better in 2019-2020.
It is impossible to get profit every time when the market is in upwards trend we have to convert our asset to some other coins which have huge potential. So in the coming year, we might see many new blockchains which will conduct new ICO's in the market. ICO's will continue to come and it will increase the market to the next level.
In order for the ICO trend to continue in 2019, several factors are needed. The main thing I think is the need to restore the market and increase the price of ethereum. And the second is a reduction in the number of scammers.
I don't see it stopping but one thing I wouldd like to say is I am tiered of ICO's. There are lot of scam ICO and dead project which didn't deliver the product. Investors are getting tiered of ICOs and less money is being raised by ICOs.
In 2019, we are going to see many new ICO's because Binance is launching their decentralised exchange and their own blockchain which will help to launch ICO's on their platform. Not only there are many other companies planning to do the same thing in the coming years.

I think that in 2019 we will see new projects with new ideas. But they have to become better, as investors have become cautious and will not invest in questionable projects.
ıco trends never stops, they are just started, lots of ıco project wıll dıe and new ones wıll come, thıs ıs crypto and its all about hype, sorry but thıs ıs truth, we need self regulatıon for it, people shouldnt jump to every shıt ıco and project,
I think that in this form, as we are used to seeing, crypto projects will no longer be. A lot of money projects spent on their personal needs. Everything must change, there must be regulation.
This will be based on the market growth in 2019. We had very less number of scam ICOs this year compared to last year. As bitcoin and other altcoin’ value spiked up, we could see large number of ICOs combined of legit and scam ICOS. Legit ICOs value as well spiked up when getting on an exchange. But this situation could not be seen in 2018. Nothing can be down now but we need to be more pro-active in finding out the legit and scam ICOs. They can be easily identified based on few points researched.
This will change in 2019-2020, regulators are coming and making more this market more like original vc market, the average investor like you and me would be distanced from good deals, and will buy the good tokens from the fund investors for 10x price, but without such risks like you could see now
I don't think so, i know that there are numbers of ICO which are scam but there are some ICO which are successful, and they are useful for people's who are investing in it, some people's are successfully make money in investing in ICO. That's the reason ICO will work on 2019.

It will never stop but it will continue to scam. These days a lot ICOs are just a waste of money, time and effort because of scam or lack of strategy and it will be unsuccessful. It would be better if you learn trading - 90% of people lost their investments on 90% due to the downtrend 2018

I don't know percentage 90%(ICO scam and lost their investments). According to my prediction, the ICO phenomenon will remain a trend even more than it has happened. Because we talk about innovation, it won't stop at any time.
Yes trend ICO has already stopped a lot and the number of ICO has decreased. I think that what's next when ICO owners begin to control the number will fall even more and the market will come out really cool projects and not projects that are high want to raise money
I prefer if there is a research body that can truly control the ICO project to filter every ICO project before it is published to the public and this is certainly meant so that there will be no fraud cases that make investors lose.

Nope! I don't think that the ICO trend stop in 2019, this year only that ICO became worst. But I do expect big in the ico that by next year it will become a good opportunity for the community who will going to participate in every project. And besides this was just your opinion which has no basis actually, why you said it here in the forum.
I hope that at least bad ICO´s stops right now, because they are destroying the already low dredibility of cryptoworld. This world is full of scammers with the only objective of getting rich fast deceiving others. Regulation is mandatory. Bitcointalk also should have a process of selection of ICO annonced here in a daily basis, before beeing published in the forum. Should have here a minimum of rules to publish ICO, most of them are sacms.
