LITECOIN has got a great repo in the market if , lee made some announcement of selling all of his coins than this cannot take ltc to death because its just the beginning of success of litecoin ,People may put their investments in ltc because of having a no Owner whale which can dump their investments by taking their own share so dont do worry just trust in the future of ltc its really a best coin with good market cap

No. He said himself that he doesn't want to have any economic interests in what's up and coming for LTC. And I believe the guy, the team says they have great news for 2018.
Charlie Lee seems like a very down to earth guy that's not in it for the money, I think he's very passionate about the technology.
The guy has probably got enough money to get through life good anyways.

I'm not selling my LTC. It's the only coin in my portfolio I can say for sure that I'm not selling in a long time unless something crazy happens.

Litecoin is bigger than any one person.
Charlie Lee has stated that he will continue decelopment and support of litecoin so whether he personally has coins or not doesnt make a difference, and personally i dont care what he hodls.

The latest news scares me. I'm think bitcoin is over. The transaction fee has become very high. I'm afraid it can drag behind itself all altcoins

According to news he sold all his litecoins in order to remove the personal conflict of interest, i don't see any reason why litecoin will die soon after he sold his coins because it really depends on the people who want to buy it and its development made by its dev/team.

In the year 2015 or 2016 there was talk over LTC, being a boring coin and never pumping and all that. If someone thought LTC will die back then maybe there was a reason! But right now, in 2017-2018 and after all the success and price action, that doesn't even make sense...  Smiley

Litecoin is very successful lately and it does not look like It's dying. However, announcements like Lee's do make people start worrying. But at first sight, it does not look  like it has affected Litecoin. Maybe it's part of the strategy, to create some buz around the brand and let's hope that Litecoin will keep going strong.

The creator of Litecoin has sold out all his Litecoins, will it dies eventually?

in cryptoeconomics there are fundamental odds working against all coins:

1. the markets logic:

most attention highest value

2. loss of premine, no developers left and no one interested in promoting it except the coin owners,

3. higher value higher transaction costs lower useability.

The creator gave away his Litecoins, because he is tired of suspicions,  he would dump and bump his cryptocurrency. He is still supporting Litecoin and it will not die. At beginning of the year it was on 8$ and look, where it is now. It will ever be the real Bitcoin Silver.

Die? Litecoin will die? Litecoin is just starting to bloom. If you actually read what Charlie Lee said about why he sold all his litecoin, he got his own points there.

Despite all the craps and bullshit everywhere, I will hodl strong to this coin. $1000 coming soon.

The solding of the creator's coins doesn't mean that this coin faces death. If it is perspective and needs the world it will grow in the future

Litecoin is Bitcoin made right.
No premine, unlike Bitcoin with Satoshi millions.
Fair launch, no ICO bullshit, even Charlee Lee has to buy his litecoins.
Made by real developer: MIT graduate, former google engineer, probably most competent developer in crypto space. Unlike bitcoin with magical "best programmers in the world" core team.
Real non anonymous founder you can talk to.
No Segwit drama, no transactions problem.
It just works.

before i read this i thought that Lee is one of the honest in this crypto-coin-world. but now..
Yeah, with his activeness on twitter I thought that he is the man. But now with his movements, it shows that a person can be controlled by money and that what just happened to him. He sold all of his litecoin and keep on changing the minds of the people that there is some conflict of interest to his move. Only a person that really is ignorant on things when it comes to profiting will not notice that.

LOL,its just a market strategy he wants us to dump our LTCs and then he will buyback.Any CEO/Founder of companies cant do that because the person next to him would have more power than him,if he sold all of his holdings the LTC price would go down exponentially which did not happened,

Because the owner of litecoin sold all his litecoins it does not mean that this coin is going to die soon.
You really need to try to understand a little bit more about what is really happening instead of posting crap in here.

And no, he dumped his coins and he obviously said that they were not even more than 10000, he did not even changed the price of the altcoin, just check the charts and the moment in where he sold out his litecoins.

Came on, litecoin is not dying, and the price has increased by more than 70 times during this year.

Thats nothing special, Litecoin is a community coin rather than an owner's coin. So it wont get affected by this.

Lee might not have sold all his litecoin and there is no way he can prove that he is not holding any single litecoin right now.

I think that statement is basically part of big hype so that people will get into litecoin thinking that there is no any large holder who can dump when price will be at peak.

Lee might be making all those stories, I don't believe his words... Roll Eyes Grin

It doesn't matter if Charlie Lee sold out his all litecoins.

He can tell that he sold it and look at the timing before he sold it, the price is up and after selling it everything went down in cryptocurrencies.

I doubt that he will not keep his own coin due to conflict of interest, we know on how they are playing well when it comes to their own game.
