No, Litecoin is not going to die. Many use it for fast and cheap transactions. Many just keep it on their wallets, since not once it showed good growth. And at the height it was possible to earn, then to buy back the entire amount at a low rate.

I've frequently stated that Bitcoin is the moon that moves the tides of the Cryptosphere ocean and that all Altcoins swam in it. Another was that when Bitcoin sneezes, then the Altcoins catch the flu. So, yes, Bitcoin is moving the markets and so just about every coin is following in its footsteps.

The below chart shows LiteCoin (LTC) with a decending wedbe pattern and also likely to generate one more lower low IF the upper line of the triangle repels the price back down.

The creator of Litecoin has sold out all his Litecoins, will it dies eventually?

No, litecoin will not die easily, litecoin including the big 5 popular coins in the crypto world. I think litecoin will continue to grow and will not die that fast.

Litecoin will always be the BEST altcoin that has always been created after Ethereum.

It is extremely fast, fees very cheap, and you do not need to wait more than 5 minutes to receive the 6 confirmations.

For me, this is the best one.

There will be a gradual replacement of old crypto currency with newer and more advanced ones, but this is a very long process. In the next couple of years, this will not happen with litecoin.
You never know) I think the LTC it strong machine now, and will find ways to keep the place on the top.
I still think that there are coins with faster transactions and less commission for the transfer. Although I can not see the future, I think that more modern coins will replace obsolete ones.  Wink

With the SEGWIT update, LTC also installed "Lightning Network" at the same time and this update is also now in production. Lightning network will allow developers all over the world to build applications using instant micropayments. In 2019 the Litecoin code is scheduled to halve the inflation rate of the currency. Each time this has happened in the past there have been wild price rises that follow.

I don't think so, Coz i believe on their strength as the pioneer of lightning network. but the FUDS for this coin really hit them bad. The selling of the owner's LTC really cause the a really huge dip which i believe a very serious storm. But i believe there will be a recovery time for it but i will be causing them so much hardwork and time.

LTC will live as long as its elder brother bitcoin is alive. I am sure that this is a strong coin which is included in the top-10. It's still profitable to invest in LTC and also to make current payments.
Yes indeed, as long a bitcoin still kicking up there's a lots of potential for ltc to grow, what I've heard that there's still a lots of work behind this coin and probably they will begin to update the community, so I'm not thinking that Ltc will die sooner they will live and be strong from time to time, they are just affected of current corrections which most of the alts are suffering right now as bitcoin value fell after that we will see them rise back along sid with btc and other quality coin behind.

The fact that is on the top 10 makes it impossible to just disappear in an instant eventhough crypto isn't on our hands to control. I don't own LTC but it seems that it is slowly gaining popularity after ETH.

Why would LTC ever die whilst BTC is around. LTC is a very useful back up for btc and this has been proven time and time again. As soon as BTC gets over loaded everyone heads for LTC or doge. These 3 are the most reliable and trustworthy methods to make transfers with. All have good volume too of course so you can transfer large amounts and buy and sell without causing much movement

I dont think so. Litecoin is the 4th cryptocurrency so far. There are sayinh that it is the silver coin. I think it will go up in the futere :-)

I don't think that litecoin is dying but the fact that it's the 4th crypto doesn't mean much to me.

Litecoin is not dying.  There is absolutely big enough community to support this Altcoin to the very end and pass for new generations!

Litecoin can not die, just as Doge is an easily mobile transaction currency, maybe its value may fall more the currency itself will never die for utility. Another factor that we can consider, maybe Litecoin brings an update that can change those thoughts caused in people.

This. The chief advantage litecoin has over doge is that you can trade litecoin directly for fiat on most exchanges. So you don't need to do the middle step of converting to bitcoin.
