It might be possible but price prediction never work in cryptocurrencies because of it decentralized nature, many assumption about price can only happened with surprise when we never expect it. Bitcoin is the driver of almost all cryptocurrencies hopefully when it rises Monero may get to $500 in 2019.

It is difficult to predict for Monero in 2019, but I think it is difficult to achieve this year's price of $ 500, when the BTC grows strongly and the Altcoin increases accordingly.
but if the positive trend continues then the Monero will likely be able to go up high and even though it's difficult to reach $ 500 but I think I can approach it because a good market will make coins easier to ride.

It’s quite very very difficult that monero will reach $500 by the end of this year. Cause you know the situation of crypto market is still in bearish trend and for this every coins price is dropped. But I hope monero will reach that target within next 3 years.
If we can see the BITCOIN more than 10000$ then the possibility for the Monero to hit the 500$ can be a real. 2019 will be interesting to watch and buy the altcoins but there are scam projects that can ruin this purpose.

When compared to the development of other Alts monero has still a long way to go to reach $500 we cant give false promises without knowing the market conditions. Yes monero has a great future without any doubt and most probably it will come under the top rated coins table in couple of days.
Monero is one of the best altcoins, so it surely deserves higher price. However, for now, the coin has lots of things have to surpass to hit $500 someday. Many people had invested in many coins during the 2018 and still are in heavy losses as market had gone red in 2018 and people have being holding patiently for the rise to happen.
I don't think so ,it will be very hard for Monero to reach the price in nearest years.Most likely in 2022 bitcoin will touch again 20k level and I guess Monero will do the same with 500$.
It is really hard for Monero to reach $500. Actually crypto currency are depending on bitcoin. Price of bitcoin can effect on the price of crypto. For ethereum, it is possible to reach $500 but for monero, i think it is not possible for this year.
Of course the biggest factor that makes the altcoins price up or down is bitcoin, and the Monero price can reach $ 500 if the bitcoin price is at least $ 25k, if you look at market conditions that have not recovered it seems difficult to achieve this year.

There is a big possibility that you have pointed out the correct one. They are nearly in their maximum limit already therefore there is a big chance that it's price will skyrocket especially once they will hit their limit in the following months or year.

Privacy and fungibility are, in my opinion, essential characteristics for a cryptocurrency to be actually used as cash. That's exactly what Monero was made for. Also, in the future, with regulation tries coming in the dawn, those characteristics will be very desirable in crypto (more than ever).

I'm not sure that monero can reach $500 this year. The tight competition in crypto currencies made many new coins appear that were more technologically innovative. Indeed, the limited number of monero makes the opportunity for a higher price increase in the monero to occur but I am not sure that monero can compete with other potential coins. Indeed monero is one of the potential coins, but there are still many other potential coins that are competing to gain public trust. The limited amount of monero resources does not guarantee that the price of monero will increase. All depends on conditions and competition in the market. Yeah, if you are a monero lover, hopefully monero can reach the price you expect.
Why do you think Monero has the chance to reach $500 by the end of 2019? In as much that the crypto ecosystem kinda operate under the principle of demand and supply, there is no way Monero can have a market value of $500 in 2019. Its all time highest market price was $495.84, this was when Bitcoin market value was around $17k. The highest price I see Monero attaining in 2019 will be between $90 and $150.
