I think no bitcoin can never be outdated by another currency because bitcoin has been the oldest and strongest crypto currency ever heard in this world.also i dont think it is comparing itself to any other currencies for them to outdate it
I'll say that technically it is possible so the answer cannot be 100% "NO", just to say...Also already ETH has very good chances of overcoming it. Also we don't know which big players will come into that industry.

There is a huge chance for bitcoins to be surpassed by another altcoins because there is always new cryptocurrency that is being released every month and the competition is getting tighter.

As a die-hard Bitcoin fan but also a bounty hunter, I don't believe that there will be a time in the future that Bitcoin will be outdated by another cryptocurrency. They may copy and imitate or improve some Bitcoin's weakness but they still can't defeat the King of Cryptocurrency. Haters gonna hate and doubters gonna doubt but Bitcoin will always be Bitcoin and I trust Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the first crypto currency and its net work systems are found strong .It is a new form of economy which are contrary to the current economical concepts of the world.It is a decentralized one with anonymity and its all transactions are recorded in an electronic ledger with the block chain technology which ensures its security systems are very sound to withstand as it is..So its popularity has wide spread all over the world .Bitcoins market capital is very high comparing to the other alt coins and bitcoins market changes are reflected corresponding to alt coins.so no chance to out date bitcoin by another coins.

I do believe that at this point in time they cannot outdate bitcoin. But as technology develop and as things changes i believe someone will emerge better later on. With the fact that many cryptos are emerging and they aim also to where bitcoin is. So ad of now lets enjoy bitcoin because its the best crypto in our time so far.
For now and for the coming years I don't believe that there will be other cryptocurrency that will replace bitcoin, but there is always a possibility in the future if all happenings will not in favor of bitcoin.

I agree with you. In my perspective based on what I have seen, bitcoin cannot be outdated by others as of now for a reason that it is more influential unlike before. Another one is that it is safer due to government cannot put taxes on it so you have no worries and also only you can manipulate or control your bitcoin. It cannot be outdated by others because it is the most popular cryptocurrency so far and the first to be used and introduced.
As for what I have observed, Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are the emergence of new type of currency which is used in the digital world. So how could the evolution of currency be outdated by the traditional one?
By another cryptocurrency that has a better features of bitcoin and if they can do the bitcoin can stand by itself without any help of its developers. I can't say that it has no help what I am saying is it can stand in a long time. Another currency can replace bitcoin but for sure it will be in the future.
