Maybe I would follow in certain situations or occasions but I probably won't completely stop if my partner asked to. I mean it's hard to abandon something that you find as an entertainment or a hobby. Some people may be worse but I don't see it a real problem in my case to be honest. You should be alright if you spend time with her more than your gambling and provide money.

It's a two ways thing and depends on whether I'm profiting or not , if I'm into gambling as a business and making some earnings from it will not stop and will go into details why I don't want to stop with evidence of my winings in order to prove myself right, but if it is a situation where by I'm not making any money from it and My girl friend advice or insist I should stop and stay away there's no two ways about I'm going to stop right a way, especially having checked that there is no benefits that do come from out of it. In the first place, your partner won't stop you from gambling if they see something wrong with you. There should b reasons why should they do that especially if they know you as a gambler already before she comes into your life. There are maybe signs that you are now showing an unusual behaviour or always losing money and that's the time she now steps in and will attempt to stop you.
In my case, my partner is well aware that I'm a gambler and I even tell her sometimes if I lose a decent amount at some of my bets. She will feel disappointed as an initial reaction obviously as the amount lost is big but still, she won't tell me to stop. The reason? I'm a responsible provider to my family and have never shown anything unusual that gambling is now changing my behavior. Of course to make things much smoother, when I'm winning a decent amount, I'm telling her those big wins since that will make her think that I'm not always losing.

I think it is bad to obey your girlfriend more than anyone else. If there is one girl that boys must obey then that will only be their mothers because they came from it. I would if the reasons for me to abandon it are reasonable, like times of economic crisis or budget managing, etc. In my personal case I have other hobbies which I like to partake in, on the other hand, if she demanded me to stop spending time/money in all my hobbies completely, I would not.

First part is usually the "why should I obey to a girl?" and so on. Well, it's up to you really and you can easily evaluate your relationship based on that. However, you should discuss this with her carefully, since she may just have misconceptions on gambling and all could be solved nicely in a way both or you are happy.

Most at time we don't give our girlfriends the access to control your activities most especially your income, if the gambling is basically helping the family there is no need she would asked you to stop gambling without appropriate and cogent reason why i should stop gambling. But if noticed I always losing then i have no option than pause for a while and wait for the favorable time to gamble again, most at times i noticed gambling has to do with luck and favor though it doesn't work all times. Keep in mind there are different between girlfriend and wife, my wife have the full control to ask me to stop and i have no option than to stop instead of going further.

We should follow them if they are insisting it because they know that it’s already bad for us. Based on my experienced as married man, Woman is always right if you really love them because you will never gonna win any argument if s*x is already on the table.
