maybe around 100-500 $ you can start trading,
in my opinion that value is ideal ...
you can start trading with bitcoin, ethereum, or the top 50 crypto recommendations from coinmarketcap,
You can search for references from trading on this forum, youtube, google and more ...
but one thing you must note,
when you are ready to trade then you also have to be ready to lose,

If you have not changed your mind about investing in cryptocurrency, now is the best time.  Since the market is currently cryptocurrency at the very bottom.  And it will be enough for you even a small amount to form a good portfolio of cryptocurrency.  At $ 1000, you can buy the normal portfolio in my opinion.

How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!

It all depends on how much your pocket has. Even you have millions or hundreds you can still invest in altcoins as long as it will not compromise your daily expenses.

If you are just trying to invest in crypto, then it's better to start with a small amount, for example 300-500 $.

I don’t think there’s any ideal number for how much of your portfolio you should invest into Altcoins or any crypto if we include Bitcoins
But generally never start with more than you can afford to lose, and you should always go slowly to start with.
I have an 80% portfolio in Bitcoins and then I have the rest in around 10-15 Altcoins, and I have sold some Altcoins to Bitcoins in the last few months. I think you should start slow, with 0.01 or 0.02 Bitcoins, and then you can always expand if you can see a good Altcoins deal.

In crypto, there is no amount too small to start investing with as long as it is your spare cash and if it is not enough to buy potential altcoin or even bitcoin, you can start by investing in icos with small values but take time to do a very good research of the project before you start investing.

It is true that no fixed amount is needed, but I think that the amount should be big enough to mean something and make a change.
I don't agree that investing in ICO is best idea in this market circumstances.

How much would you start to invest, there is no exact amount if you want to invest as long as you have a capital to buy coins that has in low price and you can do the trading and buy low sell high strategy. Every person that willing to invest in crypto you must have to be patience and have a to be risky at all times when the market goes up and down. I remember I started at $100 invest and now I earn $35 a week and a profit of $1000 monthly.

A general advice for newbies: start with a small amount of money (up to $500) and see whether you can make any profit with it.
If everything goes well, you can gradually increase your investment and go on trading with larger sums.

With the amount you could just throw in the garbage, never use funds that you need for paying bills and etc... Be realistic and dont cry after loosing your funds invested in crypto

Invest what you can afford to lose. That is a golden rule, and you should stick to it. Because no matter what happens then you can move on with your life. No one can't answer this question, you have to this yourself, only you can give correct answer. Be safe out there.

Actually they always says that always start small and invest only the amount your an afford to lose. It is very to start trading cryptocurrencies. With just a reliable exchange and a small starting capital you can start your trading journey, but there is only one question, Are you capable enough to trade? Trading is very risky approach compared to other investment opportunity but can also be rewarding if done right. Study first and if you are confident enough and well knowledgeable on what you are doing then the amount will not matter. You can grow even a small amount. It is better to practice with a small amount first then if you think you can trade well then that is the time you may want to add some more capital or use the profit you earn to compound it.

there is no minimum amount to start s trade, you can start with how much you want. but remember every exchange has a different minimum deposit, you should choose an exchange first and see a minimum deposit there.

It all depend on how much you want to earn. I guess starting small is the best way. It only matters your dedication towards it.  Not the amount that you spend on it.

Well the value is not a big deal to choose how much altcoin you want to buy, as long as you have a right amount of money to invest on altcoin you can buy no matter what is the price but you need to choose the  better altcoin that you think most popular or in demand altcoin for the investors.

No matter how much money you are going to invest, it's important how many they will remain! First of all, I advise you not to rush to invest all your money. Most likely from the very beginning you will make mistakes and lose your capital, so invest as much as you are ready to lose.

You can begin with learning some information about crypto and investing and buying, I suppose these moves are easier for understanding for newbies.

Of course beginners should trade script money with little capital.
That's a good advice, beginners usually fail as they need to learn more in order to be consistent in trading.
Crypto is volatile, if you panic because you lack knowledge and experience, you will easily loss your money, so it would be wise to start small and gradually
increase your capital as you feel you are improving.

No ideal numbers are needed here. I think that understanding crypt is more important than investing in crypt.
