The government can provide jobs, that's right, but someone with a big dream cannot depend on the government job and keep waiting for it until it comes. What if it takes years before the person gets hired? In my country, there are lots of graduates who are not employed. In fact, for the masses that are graduating every year in my country, I can say that only up to 40% or less get employed. I don't know about other countries, but over here, it is difficult to get a job, and even if the government hires you, your salary, oh damn, will just solve a few of your needs (very few), although it depends on the government sector you are employed in because we know they pay medical doctors very well. It's just good for one to also get other skills that can help them explore if the government work they need is not yet available.
