The government can provide jobs, that's right, but someone with a big dream cannot depend on the government job and keep waiting for it until it comes. Yes, higher education gives confidence in the future.
But the fact is that many people perceive higher education as protection. They don't think about earning money, they just study in order to do something now.
Unfortunately, I was like that at university. I was told to study - I studied, absolutely not thinking about earning. But it was possible to start thinking about your business even then.

That's good because you have a plan as opposed to waiting for the government to work things out, everyone has a responsibility and ideally we should have the ability to solve it ourselves. There are many ways we can do to make our finances better and the simplicity of the business you do is one way that many people can do.

Starting a small business is far better than doing nothing to stave off unproductive old age. Our lives do not depend on other people or the government, but the presence of both can help us achieve the business we run, the government provides access to security and a proper place is an obligation, while relationships are people who will encourage our business to grow.

You can surely survive without a government job as a fresh graduate, but you cannot survive without the government.
As a graduate you can apply the skills you may have acquired while on campus to create a job for yourself. You can leverage on the connections you have too to ask for recommendations to job openings.
Besides, I am of the opinion that people who should look for government jobs should be those who truly want to serve the public. If not, why would anyone want to work at a place where it feels like you are stuck.
OP, you are already doing well with the business you have started just keep at it and if you come up with innovative ideas, the government will come running towards you.

A nation cannot exist without a government, just like a herd needs a leader to lead and protect them all. It is true that the government cannot provide jobs for all of us, nor can it support every family in need, but their role in our lives is undeniable. If we base only on title then you are right but his point mostly is about the jobs or business that the government ain't helping like the OP cant feel the government when he put up business which I think he want some sort of support financially or in promotion. I would be difficult if there are no government for sure it is chaotic. Also we just cant feel that they are providing jobs but they are by having investors from other countries which can generate jobs

After serving the government for a certain period of time, employees are entitled to receive a pension and gratuity upon retirement as a form of compensation for their service. These benefits make government jobs attractive, but they may not offer opportunities for personal wealth creation.

On the other hand, being self-employed has its own advantages which I greatly prefer. However, a major concern is that if the government does not take necessary steps to improve the economy, sole proprietorship businesses and entrepreneurship may suffer as well, this can only work in an environment of good governance.

well i guess you are right. Because after all that can change our situation is only ourselves. we cannot always just expect help from other people including from the government. we must have a strong stance and must be able to build everything independently. But that doesn't mean we don't need the help of other people or the government. Of course in one case we need the government and other people. but if it is related to our career and business then we are the ones who fight for it ourselves. we are the ones who have to build it patiently from the bottom. We can't expect other people to change our life. but we are in full control and responsible for what happens to us. then being independent, working hard and never giving up is something that everyone needs to build a strong and opinionated personality.

Whether you can survive without a government job or not, it usually depends on the individual's own mindset. But in my opinion doing my own small business is a better decision than government jo no one has to be in control here. Better to trade if you can afford it. Many more will find job resources from your organization if you are doing a job, it is very important that you are doing a job at which level, you have to do such a job in which your promotion. But the job may not be suitable for you it is easy to profit if you start a business with competence and intelligence.

There are plenty of benefits in working in government especially once they retire. Though it will depend on what job is being offered to. The benefits will depend on what country we are and job will depend on what place we lived in, sometimes only those who are close to the politicians in position got a chance to get hired in government. Though in the future as technology, robotics and blockchain advances the need to hire more staffs might not be needed anymore so tendency like what happening now when governments don’t hire a lot many will depend in private companies or in having their own businesses.

I just want to emphasize that that doesn't give us the right to say "We can do well without government". We can't, and I explained why in in this post of mine above.

I don't know brother from which country you are writing but in the context of my country government jobs are invaluable gems for the people of our country. I have also seen people who spend their lives only chasing government jobs. Only government jobs are valuable to them. From childhood, we have only one dream that when we grow up we have to do government jobs. If you don't do government jobs, you won't find your value among people. Even in our country government service is so valued that when looking for a girl for marriage, the girl's father first asks if the boy is in government service.
