Employment powers the government sector, and the government provides and receives employment from investors. It is true that we need our own efforts so we must act and not give up on any of our plans to be a part of the development of our constituency.

That's what I said earlier in this thread, but then realized the OP meant literally government job, like being in law enforcement, educational, medical or other governmental institutions. There are people who see working in those institutions like the only way to survive, and OP here is not one of them. All of us, we need governmental institutions and we should be thankful to people working there. But we should know that in a free world there are other opportunities, and we are free to choose them if we want.

So we can really say that it is important to have a government because they give strength or development to the country as you said. I can say that I am also one of those who were given a job by the government in the lower class but somehow managed to survive. Even though I have a low education, I try to raise myself as part of the government. You are right that we have the right to choose what we want to happen.

That's why we should really take being part of the government seriously because it is the one that provides everything for us to survive. Even if there are people in the government who do not provide good services for their constituents, let's not rely on them and let's find a way for us to survive.

Congratulations buddy for running your own successful business, probably most of us here dream of being our own business. Back in university I tried to come up with some ideas among my friends to start our own business. Unfortunately we didn't find the right idea we could agree on and nothing happened. By now I kind of accepted that I will never be my own boss and have to stick in employment the rest of my life. Which is also not a bad thing because it gives more security and less stress to worry about. So far I have always worked in the private sector and never really thought about working in the government sector. In my country the wages are much higher when working for a corporation than the government. It's better to find a job for ourselves than relying on the government to provide a job for us.

It's a waste of time to wait for the government to provide you with employment as a citizen or graduate; in my country, thousands of graduates have been unable to find employment since they graduated. Everyone in the country should, in my opinion, consider starting a business before looking for employment; regardless of how great or awful your country is, you must find something that will provide for your needs because no one can foresee the future.
You can work for the government and run a business at the same time. In fact, I've known many people who do both to ensure that their needs are met. This is because government work is not something you will do all the way to the end of your life; eventually, you will need to retire and won't be receiving a salary like you do when you're working, which is why we shouldn't rely on it for our daily needs.

While it may not be particularly simple, most regions don't even appear to have guardians like the government existing, instead, all the elected officials seem to be concerned about is their own interests and their own pockets. I can still clearly recall how during the covid 19 in my region, all that people could do was support one another. However, a very long time ago, people lost faith in the government, and there has been a serious problem with the rate of unemployment rising with a large number of recent graduates. The best we can do is to empower ourselves and start a small-scale business to be able to feed ourselves.

I agree with you, we don't have to wait for the government to give us jobs before we can be independent. There are many ways to earn an income and achieve success in life, including starting your own business or developing the skills to offer a valued service to others as you are doing now with your popcorn business.

It is important to remember that being an entrepreneur or self-employed requires specific skills and the ability to take risks. However, with consistent study and practice, anyone can develop these skills and achieve success. You just need to be patient and consistent, I'm sure your business will continue to grow and become big.

I think not everyone who works under the government will achieve success in life. However, one must know that government jobs can also be a good choice for many people, especially those who seek stability and security in their careers. Everyone has different choices in life, and the most important thing is to choose the best path for yourself and take action to achieve their goals.

As an individual then its better not to make yourself that heavily reliant on what the government is trying out to give out because not all the time it would be followed and would be implemented.Its better to make
yourself that heavily that trying your best to stand on your own.We do have other options and different path for us to take without needing to wait on what they are trying out to provide because not all the times
which government could be able to follow on what they had promised out earlier or into those times on election period. Survival of the fittest would be the main concern on here, if you are that
someone who dont strive for better living and just contented on being poor then its your choice to make.

In any advanced society research has shown that government alone can't handle employment issues alone without the involvement of the private sector in tackling it. And move over, government is believed not to be a good businessman that's why in most Western countries the government privatized most of the supposed public sectors infrastructures and establishments as a pivot to well manage unemployment surge.

Everyone has a role to play as a citizen, we shouldn't all rely on white-collar jobs when we can learn certain entrepreneur skills to assist our self and be self-employed thereafter becoming an employer of labor therefore reducing the unemployment weight on the shoulder of the government.

I think you have misunderstood the concept of government and jobs out there. Government needs to be in place because thats how the society moves in an order. Without government, who will manage the infrastructure, schemes, security, and various services that runs the entire nation smoothly.

The world wouldn’t be connected so smoothly as we see today. Obviously there are wars, calamities but we do manage them and Government plays big role with their mesh of regulations.

Unstructured democracy would never work this fine at all.

Coming to the job, well definitely all of the above need people working for them. While on the other hand, private industrialists would create more and more as and when they need. But without any government support everything will be disoriented and won’t work. So we need them and the jobs from them for sure.

As long as governments cut the taxes on companies that hire a lot of people, that should be fine. Imagine a scenario where you would spend a million dollars on workers and a million dollars on taxes, and the government comes to you and says double your work force and have 2 million dollars salaries, so instead of 1000 people you have 2000, and you won't have to pay any taxes. That would be good right?

You would have more workers and even more profit and even less cost because of no taxes. Governments can help the economy that way, less taxes for doing more good things, offer companies a way to get richer and pay less and allow the public to have more jobs, definitely something that will benefit everyone all together.

The government can provide jobs, that's right, but someone with a big dream cannot depend on the government job and keep waiting for it until it comes. I rather have a kind bad leader than an evil bad leader at the helm. That way while the country is going down, which it already is, at least we would have someone who would be kind to us at the same time and should be fine about it. Obviously I would much prefer a good one but there are not even options of a good one for us lately.

Government is meant to provide enabling environment for businesses to thrive therefore you are indirectly enjoying some of the basic infrastructures provided by the same government, firstly your popcorn is powered by electricity and you can communicate effectively with your customers via mobile phone etc, thus government provision of those basic infrastructures will trigger Small Medium Enterprise to emerge in many locations thus create employment opportunities just like how you employed some people into your popcorn business imagine the number of people that will be gainfully employed if these businesses thrive in different locations across the country

If we base only on title then you are right but his point mostly is about the jobs or business that the government ain't helping like the OP cant feel the government when he put up business which I think he want some sort of support financially or in promotion. I would be difficult if there are no government for sure it is chaotic. Also we just cant feel that they are providing jobs but they are by having investors from other countries which can generate jobs

Many agencies in the government also help business owners and workers by teaching how to grow the business and the desired job. In terms of finances, there are also agencies held by the government that help to support a business like ours whose main source of income is the cultivation of rice and coconuts.

You are also right that investors from other countries are one of those who provide jobs in the country which is a great help to the government and the people.
