Make money and a better economy, you shouldn't, work in government, what you are doing is right and right to improve your economy and your family, trade / business.
Example:
I started a popcorn 🍿 business which I managed alone but right now have workers under me which I'm paying and now planning to establish another business.

Actually entrepreneurs or people who are successful in doing business, most of them are not from government employees, many of them are not highly educated, only high school, but with patience, confidence, really they can achieve better success.

You trade business is the best as far as I know, you are the boss, you are an employee and you can determine your own economy, you manage all of that, working in government you cannot achieve well economically, like someone who is successful in trading.

Well, government really make a lot of opportunities but not all of us are lucky to get that job opportunities there are billions of people in one country so it is possible that we cannot avail the opportunity created by the government, but we can still creat our own way yo earn there is a lot of small businesses that can give us profit like popcorn business, or any fast food business.
Because there are many people who have to have jobs and that is the part that everyone wants in the country, the government clearly cannot accommodate everyone to be placed into government agencies. Moreover, those taken to be placed in government agencies are also selected based on state regulations so that justice is seen even though only a few people are taken. So it's clear in this case that every person or citizen must have their own business if they want more income for themselves.

As people who have been to school, we must be independent, don't blame the government too often, let them focus on the programs that have been designed, and we must be creative, complaining won't change our lives, take real action right away, even if it looks like a small thing.

One mistake that some people are continuously committing which is also the reason why most of them can't get out of the yolk of poverty is that they blame everything on the government. Even if the government is doing its job to sustain its people, it can't support us our whole lives s we still need to grind and make money through our effort and hard work. We can't succeed if we will just rely on the government which also relies on the taxes of its citizens.

sometimes when we graduate from higher colleges we expected government to create employment opportunities
This was also my miscalculation and the misconception of my parents. I've vowed that my kids won't toe that line of expecting government to provide them jobs after graduation like I expected. I'm going to bring them up with the mindset of being self sufficient and employed.

There are so many meaning gigs one can get involved in online this day and earn well without leaving one's comfort zone. For one, I will teach them online trading of any sort. So, government employment won't be a thing for them. How much does the government even pay for entry graduate level? In my country, the pay is not something anyone should be proud spilling here.

Kudos to you for taking the bull by the horns. This is how every graduate should think. They don't have to wait endlessly for a government job that may not even be available. At least you know how much profit you earn and can juxtapose it what government could've been paying you were you in its employment.

We still need the government in some issues because they are the holders of the law, and we still need the law. But for work, we should not expect them but create opportunities for ourselves.

In my country, jobs today are judged by their level of relationship and how much money they can spend. Those who have a good relationship, no matter how stupid they are, can still get a stable job; those who study well but have no money or connections cannot get a job. Society is slowly becoming corrupt, so don't expect the government to save us, but save yourself.
Actually employment from government is hope of someone who finishes from good school, but making analysis of how employment is been given to someone in your geographical environment by government is not fair, any government who is giving employment because of relationship had with someone is a bad government, for dispensation of activities in government to the masses or grassroots doesn't have a category or sentiment, giving employment is basically dependent on credible people who's certified or merit the requirement of the tax before getting employment, with your country kind of employment it will be difficult before hopeless person to survive. Government is like democracy, its for the people and by the people benefit from a government.

Let us be realistic to ourselves, is good to extreme to wait for government to make provision of every in a country, sometimes when we graduate from higher colleges we expected government to create employment opportunities but in some points government keep adamant of making employment be visible and available to the mass,  on my instinct I said without government employment man can survive, I started a popcorn 🍿 business which I managed alone but right now have workers under me which I'm paying and now planning to establish another business.

There are lucky countries that are being led by honest and hardworking governments but unfortunately, governments in most countries aren't reliable. They don't even value or prioritize skilled graduates so we have no choice but to look for opportunities to earn on our own.
It is better to work hard and earn without relying on the government because they can't honestly sustain their people's needs and they focus on their benefits. As much as possible, we should look for better ways to make a living.

In life, there are some certain things one need to put into action before things would go as they plan or desire it to be. Yes government can not be sidelined in the economic development and growth of the society because the government are vested with the responsibility to do that but that does not mean that as a citizen or individual you would wait for the government to do everything.

In terms of employment, although the government should be up to the task in conducting recruitment exercise but it happens that these days the government are short of expectations and going by that one needs to improvise in terms of creating a job for yourself as that alone will keep you up and doing. Like the saying goes " a journey of a thousand miles starts with just a step". As an individual, there is something you can do to take in money for yourself. Being creative and productive with your skills will pay if you out them into use.

Do not wait for the government. Start doing something to save yourself.
Without government, we can survive!

According to the information from Forbes.com Norway holds the highest percentage of government employees. This data is taken during the year 2015. Almost eight years passed and there might be small variation. Even in the highest level it is possible to see around 70% work force is on the private sector. This is more than enough to realise that people were able to move forward as well as survive without government jobs. When it comes to government job there is less risk of losing jobs which is why most people prefer government jobs.

Relying on employment with the state is a specific position. I'll explain why. The state is a very bureaucratic mechanism that provides "satisfaction of needs at the minimum". Yes, in a stable state, you can count on some "stability" that the state guarantees. Let's not hide it - but being fired from public service is "you have to try" Smiley
On the other hand, this stability has another "side of the coin" - you cannot jump over the restrictions that are imposed by "stability". It is more difficult to build a career there (not because of competition, but because of formalities), it is not possible to dynamically change the vector of work there! Talking about creating your own business is an unsolvable question; as a rule, government officials are forbidden to engage in entrepreneurship. But I repeat once again - although the state work is more stable and guaranteed, it is much less paid and with fewer opportunities than private business. The second, of course, also has nuances - there are more risks if you build a business yourself - you yourself are responsible for everything, and you pay all the risks out of your own pocket.

If you need a straight forward answer then it's a yes, we can survive without government creating jobs but that'll make it very difficult since the private sector can't create enough job to satisfy the inflow of job seekers in a country which is why for a governments to have a successful reign in office, creating of job has to be on their agenda or they have failed their citizens. Job creation is very easy for the government to do than the private sectors.

Government has access to resources that will make job creation easier like capital to build industries, locations to establish those factories etc but for a private sectors to have all that available, they have to spend so much from their pocket that might kill the project before it even starts.

You can find a job or a business without the government's help, and it is possible. But without the government, you cannot exist, the government is the one who gives us peace, the one who protects us. Without their strength, I believe your business will face many difficulties from social evils and unfair competitors.

I used to run a restaurant business, I built everything, but without the permission and management of the government, I wouldn't be able to do business with bad people. My restaurant constantly has problems from the gangsters, and without the government's intervention, I cannot be in business.

People have their own personal opinions on both Government job and business. Some prefer jobs and some prefer business. If it's not a government job, then the advantage is very poor if you are not getting paid enough. Business is what we call having freedom in our space. And job is bound with rules and time frames. It may seem a bit extreme, but many prefer a constant flow of income over starting something on their own and waiting for it to be successful.
As the population is growing in a steady but fast way, we are lacking in the opportunity to join government job. So many people are starting their own business. It's no wonder that you can survive without a Government job. Even to explain it a bit more, no one in the world is on the top rich list by doing Government job. So that pretty much explains many things. But both are important based on your choice and situation.

In reality of life, not everyone who graduates from college gets a job right away. And it's not right that because we graduated from college, we will expect the government to give us a good job because we graduated from college, but that's not always the case.

And if you now have a popcorn business, it's because you chose to do it and you had the dedication and passion to do it and worked hard to achieve what you really want in life. But not all people are like you who are hardworking and patient, most of them are lazy and don't make a way for their dreams in life.

If you think you are doing it with out government support, you are wrong, in my opinion. It's government that provides you with protection from both external(those that might attack your country) and internal(those that might attack your business) enemies. It's thanks to the government you can buy the equipment without being scammed, and it's thanks to the government you can return it and take your money back if the quality is bad.

But if you just mean that we shouldn't wait for the government to provide us with proper job, I totally agree with you. Be the master of your own fate. And I wish you all the best regarding your business.
Job opportunities are government's responsibility and grabbing those opportunity is your responsibility. I have to agree that you can survive somehow without working in the government, but surviving without the government? I don't think that's possible. You can build business all you want, but you cannot guarantee that there is security while you are doing that kind of business even if it is a clean business. First of, you are like selling in the wrong area and that area I mean is like you are selling in a secluded place without people. Second, who would want to negotiate with someone that isn't sure if it can be trusted or not? Or is the transaction genuine or fake? Even black markets have rules to follow, so how much more something without government and laws to follow? Nobody would want to compromise if the merchant isn't guaranteed to offer good business.

In my opinion without government there aren't jobs, because the jobs industry needs a friendly government with friendly policies and regulations to be healthy and prosperous. A country which encourages independent and small businesses is likely to become the destiny of many entrepreneurs who look for this kind of atmosphere to settle down, consequently warming the local economy and creating new jobs opportunities.

On the other hand, when the government is hostile to entrepreneurs, charging abusive taxes and creating bureaucracy for those who want to work, this country is going to lose interest from businessmen as a potential realm where they can start their activities, therefore local citizens are going to have a hard time finding opportunities for a living. When this happens, one of the only alternatives left is the internet for earnings.

As we can see, government's decisions are totally crucial on the sucess of the economical life of a country and its citizens.

Education and experience were the tool with which one can survive. When one have the proper education he/she should think of making his life. Whether it is done through the government or by his/her own will make themselves understand what is loss/win in life. Even now people feel comfortable with the government employment opportunity, because the government can't relieve the employee if something wrong have happened in the economy.

Anyone who has creative thinking can create a source of income without government assistance. Many people are just lazy to take initiative when it comes to earning.  They wanted to be spoonfed which makes them dependent on the government to create a job for them.

Earning opportunity is everywhere, one proof is the services created by different people during the pandemic.  The assistance of buying items of a family in return for some tips or payment for service.  Offering maintenance services from laundry to home cleaning.  And if skilled, can open a service such as aircon maintenance, computer maintenance, gadget repairs etc.

There are lots of ways if only we are willful enough to go through different challenges and difficulties in order to earn money for living.

Usually, if the state provides help, then it asks well for this help. Businesses have to go through a lot of inspections, draw up a lot of documentation, and prove that all the budgetary funds were spent as intended. It is also possible that you will have to bribe government officials.

I know for sure that the government is the biggest employer in most countries, but unfortunately not everyone will be employed by them because some skills professions will never be required  by them and are best used for private to use to serve  the public.  Besides if you are after bigger pay checks i believe you are better off in the private sector were you are above the minimum wage by far.

Anyone waiting on the government to provide him or her with a white coler job is wasting his own time.
Even as a graduate, you need not wait for the government to earn a living for your self.

Agreed,  the sense of entitlement is what actually  keeps people unemployed,  people need to get creative with whatever new skills they have developed to survive if possible major into something new that will guarantee that it will help you pay some bills and bring some money into your bank account.
