Hashing at 410-430 locally but only pulling about 330 on http://pool.cryptoescrow.eu/

It was only the wind.
[2014-06-11 02:25:08] submit_upstream_work stratum_send_line failed
[2014-06-11 02:25:08] ...retry after 10 seconds
[2014-06-11 02:26:14] stratum_recv_line timed out

Getting a lot of these now...

Pool fuckup.

Awesome, just pulled and it seems to be fixed Cheesy... I do have an odd issue with a few EC2 instances... They start at 1Kh/s and drop to about 385Kh/s... I am not sure why yet..

Throttling, most likely - you're using cheap ones?

Well that is lame, I am using the c3.8xlarge instance.. I figured they wouldn't throttle the CPU demanding instances..

EDIT: I figured it out! Pretty simple mistake lol, I had another miner running under a screen running as root.. So calling just screen would return there were no screens... But doing a sudo screen showed it.

Eerybody,

Please join Wolf's pool http://pool.cryptoescrow.eu/#

My miners are on it. My hash rate is higher and more stable than in other pools
No block in 10 hours with that hashrate is worrying...

All the pools are showing the same thing. I read somewhere it's because of a really high orphan rate.
Everything is fixed up - pool is running smoothly.

I am showing a lot of these:
Code:
[2014-06-16 16:42:36] stratum_recv_line failed
[2014-06-16 16:42:36] ...retry after 10 seconds

I have miners pointed to stratum+tcp://pool.cryptoescrow.eu:3333, is this normal? I thought I read some where this is caused by something to do with the pool?

It was only the wind.
Well I was just curious in an actual speed difference. I don't want to install Ubuntu tonight for a 50h/s increase.

We're talking up to 40% - 50%.

Spent forever trying to get gcc sorted out and it looks like i was doing better in windows...

[2014-06-11 01:11:52] accepted: 2/2 (100.00%), 283.70 H/s at diff 25000.1 (yay!!!)

CPU? Did you use CFLAGS="-march=native" ./configure and then make? Also, did you configure the hugepages as detailed in the OP?

It didn't show my hashrate. Is it normal ?

*facepaw* Okay, this is the LAST time I will answer this question. Yes, it is normal.

i have same issue, updated my VPS miners(60cores)
now none shows any hashrate, neither does pool= 0h/s
no single hash for hours
updating back to old miner..

Do they have AES-NI?

i dont think all of them have, chunkhost.com

Well, make sure that you're building the ones that don't with --disable-aes-ni, or they won't hash.

./autogen.sh
CFLAGS="-march=native"
./configure --disable-aes-ni
make

Huh this?

It was only the wind.
I am attempting to compile this miner at two linux distros and have no luck. Need an advice.
Mint 13 + gcc 4.8 + libboost 1.55 and Mint 17

At Mint 13 I had to install additionaly autoconf 2.69 (stock 2.68).

I changed also the line #3308 of configure file by removing -V and -qversion and leaving just --version as gcc didn't support it.

The miner seems to compile but doesn't work at all.
Even the benchmark needs URL and the miner is just quied if I try to use at the pool. CPU is half-loaded.

Code:
./minerd -a cryptonight --benchmark
[2014-06-11 05:10:37] I go faster as root.
[2014-06-11 05:10:37] Using JSON-RPC 2.0
[2014-06-11 05:10:37] 5 miner threads started, using 'cryptonight' algorithm.
[2014-06-11 05:10:37] HTTP request failed: No URL set!
[2014-06-11 05:10:37] ...retry after 10 seconds

I have found numerous errors in config.log

At Mint 17 the resoult is very similar.

You apparently didn't read the OP. Run it at the pool and wait - no more per-thread output. You will see hashrate when you find a share. Try stratum+tcp://mro.extremepool.org:5555 - they have a low share diff.

Just wait for the news.

and maybe thats why BBR has the same algo   Shocked

BBR uses wild keccak - BCN and XMR use CryptoNight.

oh wait, u didnt even notice i was being sarcastic.

Doesn't come through very well in text.

I don't have a Mac and don't like them. However, I have retained compatibility if someone wishes to build for it.
I have and want to build, but cannot do this. Libcurl error, while configure.

Do:
 brew link curl --force

Wolf u must be getting paid by xmr team, why dont you just release an wild keccak miner?

yes, cryptonight is not only XMR/MRO as your topic title suggests

I'm not getting paid by the XMR team, and I'm not really interested in optimizing BBR's butchered version of keccak. Besides, it's written in C++; I hate it and it hates me.

ofc you rather get a cheap imitation get known.

Last I checked, BBR is the cheap imitation - BCN is the original, and my miner works with it.
