2600 non K at stock clocks 234 h/s at t-4

its nothing to do with a fan base, its at current the more powerful miner that supplys the highest output.

Nobody seems to be doing careful testing with complete environment data so we can't be sure, but there is a screen shot for this miner showing >300 on a 4770k. I have no idea if that is overclocked or anything else difficult to reproduce.

i dare say overclocked, or in linux which works better for cpu mineing from what i have gathered.

Yeah I don't really understand why Linux would be faster, and I can't come up with a good reason for it, but I never use Windows any more so it isn't something I'm going to work on.

you aint missing much on windows lol....... only problem for me is, the claymore gpu miner for cryptonight algo has no linux support at this current date and no real time frame for support yet otherwise i would be dumpin windows for Pimp and run it all that way. once i figure out how to use it anyway lol...

It was only the wind.
Not 100% sure. Since most Win users can't compile their own binaries, I'd have to revert every commit, one by one, and build a Win64 binary for each >.<
I always thought that the binary one for a particular type of Windows. Why did they each compile?

I'd need to, to find out which commit slowed it down - but now some people are reporting it's faster...

I give 200 XMR for open source GPU miner. Grin

Seriously? Because I *might* have one. Of course, it might also be near useless.
Revision:

I give 200 XMR for open source GPU miner that is as fast or faster than Claymore's GPU miner v1.2. I give additional 0.25 XMR for every 1% it is faster than Claymore's GPU miner v1.2.  Grin

It was only the wind.
I'm using GCC 4.8.2 and LD 2.23.52 compiled.
when I make , I got a error:

cpu-miner.c: In function 'miner_thread':
cpu-miner.c:1065:88: error: 'MADV_HUGEPAGE' undeclared (first use in this function)
   madvise(persistentctx, sizeof(struct cryptonight_ctx), MADV_RANDOM | MADV_WILLNEED | MADV_HUGEPAGE);

who can help me ?
thanks.

What distro? It probably doesn't include hugepages.

Nice!

Avast antivirus just started registering this minerd.exe as dangerous Sad

AV companies do that to boost the number of malware they "found" so they look good on paper. The miner is used by malware to mine on people's computers, but instead of just tagging the actual malware, they add the miner as well.

CentOS6.3 x64

Second report I've gotten of CentOS not working... I think the first was fixed by updating glibc.

hey monero miners!

I'm new in mining, so today it's the first day that i mine monero,
the miner is running for 5 hours now, for me everything looks ok but i didn't get any moneros so far,
im mining with the latest miner of this forum (40-50 hashes) and i've typed in my monero adress
everything is in sync...

I don't know
So my question is how long does it take to get the mined moneros from the pool that i'm mining (extremehash)?

You don't have permission to access /cpuminer-multi/cpuminer-multi-wolf-06-12-2014.zip on this server. Huh

Maybe I wasn't being clear, I meant a non-AES-NI version of Wolf's miner. I already use the Lucas one.

It was only the wind.
All of my tests were done on an AMD FX-8320 @ 4.2GHz, 8GB 1833, Win7x64, ran @ -t 7. The average is from when lightly using the computer as normal and the peak, where it spends most of its time, when left alone. Now if only I can figure out how to compile it on windows myself lol.

5/29
   Peak – 322
   Average – 270
5/30
   Peak – 312
   Average – 265
Experimental
   Peak – 328
   Average – 275
6/8
   Peak – 331
   Average – 315

Hm, so 6/8 is better for you... now I dunno what to do.

Anyone fancy chucking out a non-AES-NI version for windows?

You'd have the undying gratitude of all us old cpu users (probably just me by the looks of it.... Wink).

Wolf0
Why i have with cpuminer-multi-wolf-06-09-2014 on i7-3770 only 130-150h/s, but with cpuminer-multi-wolf-05-29-2014 - 200h\s?
What could be the problem?

Win7 64bit

Not 100% sure. Since most Win users can't compile their own binaries, I'd have to revert every commit, one by one, and build a Win64 binary for each >.<
