Without going over statistics, I also believe men are more interested with Bitcoin than women.

When people are talking about investment, most women will discuss about time deposit and debt securities, you know the lowest risk investment. While men, it's really varies, they can discuss from the lowest risk to highest risk investment.

In crypto, most women are work as a brand ambassador, but the other thing are dominated by men.

..Cultural and structural barriers play a role as men often dominate technical and leadership positions in crypto while women are more likely to be seen in marketing. Bridging this gap may require targeted education and campaigns emphasizing crypto's potential for financial freedom adn security to appeal to women.

You can check this study on women in crypto

Cryptocurrency is a very risky platform. After the emergence of Bitcoin, men were more interested in learning about it. At that time, people did not believe in it. But even in those difficult times, men invested there. On the other hand, women can also take risks, but in the beginning their position was not like the present time. Moreover, it must be admitted that women cannot take as much risk as men. That is why the number of female investors is less. Since women were in the previous position, they have now given great importance to this issue and now they have been able to know about Bitcoin very well. Women are now taking big responsibilities in various new crypto projects including big exchange platforms, which is why women are no longer lagging behind. However, it would not be wrong to say that they are definitely lagging behind when compared to men.
My question is, is there a place that involves money that does not have risks for now and even when you build a business the risks are also quite high because we cannot guarantee that the business will be successful. In terms of readiness, it may be true that women are not able to control themselves to get involved in risks and usually risks that are not handled properly will cause problems. Bitcoin is indeed quite risky to invest in, but we must also understand that the risk will be comparable and if the investment is carried out correctly, all risks that occur can be minimized. Women are indeed weak in terms of logical thinking and maybe they don't want to be in trouble like most men do.

I completely agree with you, cryptocurrency is a risky space, it is very important to be aware of this. Initially, only men used to invest in this space, but now women are also investing here.
However, not only in the crypto space but in all areas, women are lagging behind men, and especially in a risky space like crypto, women will never be equal to men. However, in the future, women will also gain good experience in the crypto space.

Does anyone know if more women are joining the Bitcoin bandwagon? I mean, the industry has always been dominated by men. But with BTC hitting the spotlight again due to a new ATH, things could change. Is there some sort of statistics/data/analytics regarding gender adoption of BTC? I'm curious to know.

By the way, I'd like to know what do women find attractive in Bitcoin (compared to men)?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
Maybe in the past women's participation in Bitcoin was less but now women are participating as much as men if not more than men. Women are involved in every activity of life so why women should lag behind in Bitcoin in this modern era. However, in countries where women are guaranteed equal rights, women can participate in any work along with men. But in societies where women's rights are not guaranteed, women are not allowed to participate in any competition or social responsibility.

As much as we neglect women, women are not that far behind. In any country or place in the world, women are close to men in all aspects but in some areas, women cannot be contemporary or close to men, one of the reasons for this is that women cannot take risks like men. Men can take risks, but a woman cannot take as much risk. If we talk about Bitcoin, women have a huge presence in Bitcoin, but much less than men. Women invest in Bitcoin, but very less than men because women cannot take much risk and Bitcoin investment is a very risky investment, so women are not as advanced in Bitcoin investment as men.
I will agree with you when you say women's involvement in bitcoin is less compared to the population of men who are into it, but I can't completely agree with you when you say they can't take great risks like men. You don't have to generalise it; most men are not risk-takers, and so are some women.

Some women take greater risks, which some men can't even imagine. Both in the line of gambling and also on investment grounds, I have seen some who have made some bold steps, which some men are so much afraid of doing. Risk-taking is not based on gender; it's a personality thing, which anyone can do irrespective of gender.

The Bitcoin industry is wide open for anyone to get involved despite the gender, being curious to know the statistics/data/analytics it's just also being curious to know if women really need money.I find any statistic regarding gender adoption in BTC inaccurate because personal information of bitcoin users are kept private and anonymous.Most person will say the industry is more dominated by men for reasons best known to them but to me I don't buy that idea because we are in a digital generation where everyone wants to be financially free and adapt to new technology.What men find attractive in Bitcoin is exactly what the women do,I know alot of women that are actively using Bitcoin and they're doing alright.Women do make financial decisions and how to manage financial risk,so if women can make financial decisions and manage financial risk how much more can't they get involved in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is for everyone, regardless of gender.
From what I have seen around me, most of those interested in Bitcoin were men and women, but now the course of events may change a little because Bitcoin interest is reaching everyone.
I have known girls interested in NFTs, I think they are more interested in visuals, but they are indirectly entering the Bitcoin ecosystem this way.

I am not sure how the NFTs are indirectly making an entry into Bitcoin's ecosystem. Yeah, I know that after exploring a little bit, she might find Bitcoin the most satisfying asset and option for her. Still, NFTs might lead her to serious loss, so she might decide to leave this market, calling it a scam. Haha, what would you say about that, as I've seen many people doing this?

most of those interested in Bitcoin were men and women I would call this statement a gender inequality are you trying to say Transgenders have no place in this ecosystem (Haha just kidding).

And the way women are picking interest is good they are trying to carry their self along and it's a good sign that everyone wants to be part of something amazing and most of them are doing better than men because the tolerance level of women is far better than men qnd when it comes to holding who do we think will hold better if not for women. And if you look at all sectors women are doing very well which is actually shows how they have find a way to putting their self through and even follow people that are experienced in that area just to learn.

Even as we human the way how genders is different so is our personality and the ways we handle issues are different also because that of risk there are some women that can actually take risk exactly the way a man will take risk, and in bitcoin there are less women in the industry than men because majority have the idea but how many are really ready to actually invest because another thing is that women are actually very conscious about their money and majority are still scared to invest and they will like to get like an encouragement with evidence then that will push them to actually invest. Women are actually sweet souls.

Haven't seen anywhere in the news any statistical data about which bitcoin adoption is more whether (women or men)... but what we know is that men always dominate in bitcoin ownership more than women.

But I have seen a lot of career women now dabbling in web3 work so chances are they have bitcoin in their portfolio... despite knowing the usefulness of bitcoin.

Women interested in bitcoin? Because trends can happen so it becomes FOMO... but my guess is there are fewer women interested than men.

Women do not dare to take risks and that is the most fundamental weakness why they are very little involved in Bitcoin investment even though there are also some women out there who are successful in Bitcoin. But if they understand Bitcoin well, women are better able to control their emotions so that in running investments it will be much easier compared to men who generally find it difficult to control themselves. But because women generally do not like challenges and risks, the opportunities for them to be involved in Bitcoin are indeed very small in number and that generally happens everywhere.

Investment is a male-dominated space, it is rare to find women discussing investing in property or Bitcoin except for gold. I do not understand your fixation on finding out which gender is involved in trading or investing in Bitcoin. I am not assuming here but I am certain that independent women are least interested in Bitcoin as of now but the future will change.

Not really.

There are plenty of women working on crypto. To say otherwise is a disservice.

That includes crypto investors as well. So while the percentage of guys is higher, it's not that high.

Everyone irrespective of your gender likes money and I believe privacy is one thing everyone wants which is what bitcoin primarily offers and I believe the sole purpose of most people especially early adopters of bitcoin is privacy but I think currently, especially for the new adopters, the goal of privacy isn’t paramount as everyone is now focused on making some cool profits and I believe that’s one thing that would drag most people into the industry and not just women.

Most of the early adopters though are probably a bunch of dudes. And nerds specifically, because Bitcoin was practically unknown when they started using it.

You need to clarify what's the definition of women though.

In many countries, a guy who dress like a woman is a woman. This also affect to sites that made a survey, they might also count them as a women too. It would be better to call XX chromosomes than women.

In my area, most XX chromosomes not invest in Bitcoin, they mostly invest in beauty stuff and lifestyle in order to get rich men.

Even in the Western world, women are not treated equally. They're paid less than men.
But, women can date with many men and force the men to pay everything, women also can create only fans account. Even they get paid less than men, but the culture and their side jobs will make them earn more than men.

It seems that more women are now joining Bitcoin community. For long time men have been more involved in industry but this is slowly changing. Survey by eToro company that helps people trade cryptocurrencies, found that number of women using their platform increased by 50% in 2021. Another survey by Grayscale Investments found that 47% of women between 25 and 44 years old are interested in investing in cryptocurrencies which is more than men in same age group. It is hard to say exactly why women are attracted to Bitcoin. However some possible reasons. Also it is becoming easier for women to get involved in Bitcoin because there are more user friendly platforms and educational resources available.

I don't think we can talk about women in general, given that in different societies women don't have equal rights or priorities in life. While in the West women have mostly become equal to men in many ways, in some other countries "women" get married very young, by the time they reach 20 years old they already have at least 1-2 children and are usually housewives who may not even have access to the internet.

In addition, if you ever had the opportunity to listen to what girls talk about in the years you mention, then you could notice that they mostly talk about boys, love, fashion and similar things - and considering that women are by nature more cautious and often play it safe, maybe in all this is the reason why men are dominant when it comes to investing in Bitcoin.

True. Women living in Arab countries often have less rights/priviledges than men. So they won't be able to become independent anytime soon. Much less explore new and exciting ventures. Even in the Western world, women are not treated equally. They're paid less than men.

Times are changing, so it's possible more women will join the Bitcoin bandwagon in the future. Although, it's likely men will still dominate the crypto/Blockchain space... Cheesy

We have women joing every aspect of life such as;
Cryptocurrency;
Gambling;
Forex trading;
Tech as a whole.
What I don't know is the percentage of them compared to men. But I know they exist and even in this forum, but they are so emotional and vulnerable to bullying.

In my area I'm teaching more of people what's bitcoin and method to purchase bitcoin in quantum even in minimum value, because currently women is coming into bitcoin investment than the men, more especially the female gender mostly the mothers [ adult's] is developing interest than the men, so I'm convinced base my geographical environment and the impacts I have created to extend the knowledge of Bitcoin to other people especially the women, I know that adult male was the first batch that I transmit the knowledge of Bitcoin to, before I extended it to the female, so that the knowledge and experience of bitcoin will be circulated across both genders...
