Gender discrimination, OP? What kind of statistics are these that are supposed to indicate the number of women interested in bitcoin? How can you know such a figure exactly? How can you even compile it? Do you specify gender when creating a wallet? Women are not inferior to men these days, not to mention that in some countries it is becoming very fashionable to change gender to the opposite. Can you identify those moments in which it is not typical for a woman to learn something new, invest, or even run her own business? What can a man see and understand that a woman cannot? If understanding bitcoin investments is very difficult for you, then are you really who you say you are, based on your question?

Bitcoin is Gender inclusive and all genders can participate.
There quite some women though the ratio is low in Bitcointalk
That have contributed to the forum growth
Through their technical skill, general or economical skill.
Now what do they find attractive about Bitcoin?
The same thing men find attractive about Bitcoin is what women also find attractive.

Now the Industry is dominated by men because of it's connection with Finance and technology which are dominated by men
Since men are less risk averse than women.

Without going over statistics, I also believe men are more interested with Bitcoin than women.

When people are talking about investment, most women will discuss about time deposit and debt securities, you know the lowest risk investment. While men, it's really varies, they can discuss from the lowest risk to highest risk investment.

In crypto, most women are work as a brand ambassador, but the other thing are dominated by men.

We know how risky the crypto market is and how much risk crypto users have to deal with. Since women's ability to take risks is lower than men's, it is natural that the number of women in the Bitcoin market will be lower. However, it would be wrong to say that women do not contribute to the crypto market. The number of women in the crypto market is increasing day by day, keeping pace with the success of Bitcoin. By the way, I'd like to know what do women find attractive in Bitcoin (compared to men)?
Bitcoin Community Demographics (powered by Google Analytics) from Coin.dance can be helpful for you. It shows Bitcoin engagement by gender as 85.8% for male, and 14.2% for female.

Another research from Cambridge.

In general, men are more interested in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency than women.

Does anyone know if more women are joining the Bitcoin bandwagon? I mean, the industry has always been dominated by men. But with BTC hitting the spotlight again due to a new ATH, things could change. Is there some sort of statistics/data/analytics regarding gender adoption of BTC? I'm curious to know.
I have noticed an increase in women getting involved in the industry even though they are not explicitly using bitcoin. In the past few weeks I have been contacted by a few female friends and they started asking about bitcoin and strangely they didn't like bitcoin at first but after seeing bitcoin hit its all time high they started to get interested in discussing it. I didn't try to explain anything because I think they need to understand investment based on observation so that any risks that occur don't make them panic and have problems.

What I am saying is that there is an increase in women involvement in the industry and there are even more women involved in trading now in my area especially.

Women interested in Bitcoin or crypto in general are increasing from year to year and we know for sure that it happens because Bitcoin is getting more famous and also women who see good opportunities when involved in the Bitcoin world such as becoming investors but as a miner I think it will still be dominated by men.
According to this article, women who invest are dominated by young women, I think it's because they are more receptive to change and curious to try something new.

It’s true, Bitcoin tends to attract more men when it comes to usage and investment. But let’s not forget, there are women out there making waves in the crypto world too. Take Maya Parbhoe, for example. She’s running for president with a platform packed with pro-Bitcoin policies.

Meet Maya Parbhoe: The Pro-Bitcoin Presidential Candidate Who Wants to Save Suriname
Maya Parbhoe Vows to Make Bitcoin Legal Tender

If she manages to become president and make Bitcoin a legal tender in her country, that’s a huge win, not just for Bitcoin but for inspiring more women to trust, use, and invest in it. Sure, women may still be a smaller group in the crypto space, but their numbers can grow over time. That said, it's still undeniable that men will probably always have the bigger share in this space, but that doesn’t mean women can’t make a major impact.

I've encountered a few of those statistics/data/analytics in the past. I'm not interested in looking for them, though. For one, I highly doubt their accuracy. Second, and more importantly, this is one of those things in which gender doesn't, or shouldn't, really matter.

I'm speaking from a free country, though. From here, access to Bitcoin doesn't discriminate gender. It's certainly a different story, however, if you're under Taliban rule, for example, or living in a strictly Islamic country like Iran or Saudi where gender biases are prevalent.

It's probably safe to assume that, at this point in time, both women and men are attracted to Bitcoin because of its price. Both among men and women, there are of course some who are truly interested in the technology.

As we all know, Bitcoin has always been seen a high risk investment, that's why it’s not surprising that men who tend to be more risk-tolerant, dominate the space.

Men are more risk-tolerant than women in some areas. In others, however, it's the other way around. Although, yeah, studies are generally saying women are more risk-averse than men when it comes to financial decisions.

42% of men ages 18 to 29 say they have ever invested in, traded or used cryptocurrency, compared with 17% of women in the same age range.
36% of men ages 30 to 49 have done this, compared with 15% of women in this age group.

Note that this is just from the US. But it seems to be the most recent one and it’s always important to check the dates of these statistics to accurately reflect the current situation. I mean for sure there are people who use crypto that weren’t part of this survey but I think it’s safe to assume that men do indeed use crypto a lot more than women.

I don’t think there’s any difference. Crypto is crypto. What men sees is what women sees and that’s the chance to earn and invest in our future. But I think that back then a lot of women were avoiding crypto because they lack trust and they are more likely to want to avoid any kind of risks compared to men.

But now times have changed and crypto is no longer the mysterious little thing no one is sure about. It’s almost becoming a mainstream phenomenon and is well known by almost everyone. Both genders and of all ages.
