Definitely, I know a lot of women who invest in Bitcoin, and also work in crypto industry. I never think that all investment, Bitcoin included, is related to gender. Men and women have the same opportunity thus make both men and women will have the same interest toward investment, I mean who doesn't want to gain financially. I dare to say that the percentage may close to 50:50 between men and women on Bitcoin and crypto industry, or at least 40-60 in favor of men, but still, Bitcoin is genderless, anyone can join.

I do agree - it's about the idea and the message, not about the gender.
Bitcoin is for everybody, and that's beautiful.

There is no accurate statistics on the internet that shows the total number of of men or women who are into Bitcoin. Remember, Bitcoin keeps its users anonymous, so how did those who compiled those statistics on the internet know which user is male or female? We can only say a little about this base on those who we see talking about bitcoin.

We have always known women to be risks averse which might dissuade them from investing in assets like bitcoin. But right now, there is an increased financial education which had made made more women willing to take risks than before. Women like money and they have heard lots of people say good testimonies about bitcoin which has given them the confidence to join the trend.
Yes, it is right because that needs more research to find one by one of the women who are into Bitcoin. Those women who are into Bitcoin will not say to public that they have Bitcoin easily because it is related to their privacy. We can only know if one of our friends have Bitcoin if they tell us and moreover, we still don't know for sure.

Women like money so they can join in Bitcoin but they will invest in secretly without anyone know. Women can find more education about Bitcoin from the internet especially if they are a curious person who want to know many things. It is like they want to join something but they must research and search for more info before they join. I am sure that in this era, more women will comes and join into Bitcoin because the potential of making more profit. Besides that, for women who have family want to help their husband to have additional income for their family.

Does anyone know if more women are joining the Bitcoin bandwagon? I mean, the industry has always been dominated by men. But with BTC hitting the spotlight again due to a new ATH, things could change. Is there some sort of statistics/data/analytics regarding gender adoption of BTC? I'm curious to know.

By the way, I'd like to know what do women find attractive in Bitcoin (compared to men)?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
In my personal life or women in general? I knew people that were joining in 2017, but i haven't talked anyone about cryptos since that. I sometimes heard from them and they seem to still either be on board or they have moved to altcoins. They seemed to value same things as men in bitcoin.

But i avoid making a conversation about bitcoin, so i don't have a full picture. Main reason being my safety, another one is the fact that i am so tired of debating anyone new or giving advices to newbies. I have heard all the weird beliefs and misconceptions, and i am tired to both hostility and greed. I could help them with their self custody of bitcoins, but i am not fond of the responsibility of that either. So i keep my distance.

What is the meaning of all these threads? Is it that there is no important things to discuss in the forum? Women participating in cryptocurrency (bitcoin) investment is not something to discuss. Anyone who like to invest or trade is free. This is just a discriminatory thread. In any business, anyone can decide to join whether woman or man. It is just a decision. Do you know that women are more than selling goods in the local markets in the world? Have you asked why?

I know many women in the cryptocurrency industry and they are doing well.

Men are generally more willing to explore and try new things, while women are generally more cautious and more rational.

Crypto has been a boys club but I see ladies stepping in bit by bit.  Still got a ways to go before it equals out (if ever), but progress takes time.
The first paragraph re-echoed my perspective on this. Perhaps, that behavioural pattern is society's expectation and women have conformed to it or it's genetically induced which women don't have any control of. Anyway, the obvious is that women tend to avoid enterprises which expose them to more risk. Only a few women get out of this circle. Those who do are seen as exceptional while for men who do it's seen as expected.

Yes, the crypto field is seen as boys club and I don't see that changing or the number levelling up anytime soon.

I know I have known about two ladies back then when I always visited the cafe for school assignments who are fully into crypto currency, and up till date both of them still post about Bitcoin, and they are holders, which I'm very certain about.

If we are to talk about what they are interested in to why they like bitcoin, I will say that the same thing that makes the male gender a Bitcoin supporter will also make it the same for them. We really can't tell some men themselves if asked why they like and hold Bitcoin aside from the profit they expect from it; they can't give any concrete reason for that.

Although I don't have accurate data on how many women are involved in bitcoin investment, but I can assure you that all projects in the crypto industry have women in their teams. There's no way they don't know about bitcoin and I'm sure they're involved in it, in fact currently there are lots of female influencers who look more knowledgeable than some men.

All genders are interested in earning money and making money. Anyone who is aware of investment will consider Bitcoin as an asset in their portfolio, especially for those who believe in it. The percentage of women may be lower than men, but the purpose of their involvement in investing seems to be the same as all men.

By the way, I'd like to know what do women find attractive in Bitcoin (compared to men)?
If I say in terms of the number of users, then of course men are the ones who are leading Bitcoin, but if I look at the inclusion of women along with men in recent times and the proportional attraction of women towards crypto, then there is definitely a significant change. If we look at various major cryptocurrency projects, women takes the significant position. They are now starting to believe in crypto.

It is not only men who invest in crypto, women also have a big role to play. Men and women and all kinds of people are now very interested in crypto, which is why we have been able to see a big rise in crypto. In recent times, women are definitely adopting cryptocurrency in a big way and this trend will continue in the future. Because the Bitcoin price will continue to rise from the position it was.

It's not about knowing it, it's about adoption. How many of them are willing to take the risk? I know, we can not entirely ruled out their involvement in bitcoin but the percentage is very meager to be noticed. Despite that there's no accurate and legit data to prove it, we have seen the cases in other areas with how men are the ones dominating the chart.

Gender equality is not equally when it has to do with risk.

Not many, as per study in the past, women has that risk aversion. Nevertheless, I believed that it could have been changing in years, as they are also into technology and not just Bitcoin. Perhaps they've learn and evolved already that Bitcoin is now the biggest assets that anyone, I mean anyone can invest.

Before, you can't simply buy stocks and other commodities, you really have to learn a thing or two about them. But with Bitcoin it's totally different, you just have to understand several basics, like wallet and then you can buy it and have it in a wallet that you can total control and then sell later when you are in a profit. So personally, I believed that this market is open for everyone, regardless of gender.

Of course, bitcoin was created for everyone, rich or poor, male or female, it does not discriminate and is for everyone. But I agree that there are still not many women involved in bitcoin or crypto for many reasons. I don't have any data on this but from what's going on around me or through my connections, most of the people investing in bitcoin are men. There are only a few female investors and they even invest very little in them because they do not want to take too much risk.

The world is becoming more equal and fair but that does not mean women will be able to dominate in some fields that have long been dominated by men. Business, investing, especially high-risk forms like cryptocurrency, will always be male-dominated.

This statistic shows that lots women is now taking their part to find good opportunity to earn by using bitcoin and crypto. This is good indication that many women are aware that there's something like bitcoin that could give them opportunity to earn money in different forms. Also for sure the number will continue to rise as there are so many hype and good things still continue to happen with this coin.

Nowadays many woman searching for online income, investing options, definitely they know about bitcoin. I found few ladies using bitcoin in some forums.
Similarity between bitcoin and woman are mood swings, can't understand easily.😀

Although we don't know the real statistic about how many women are joining in Bitcoin, I am sure that increase than a few years ago especially with what happen to Bitcoin. Maybe we can get the data from the internet but I am not sure if that number is the real number for those women who joined in Bitcoin.

Maybe there is more number that we don't know because we need to input all from the worldwide. So we need to collect all data from all countries and record it.

The investing is a thing that attract women to join in Bitcoin. Usually, women like to saving their money in many things such as gold but if they know Bitcoin and how it works, maybe they will invest in Bitcoin.

It will be difficult to get a reliable data about the number of females that are actively engaged in Bitcoin. There are no option to input information on sex in exchanges or wallets while registering. And most people who own Bitcoin like maintaining privacy. From my experience the crypto sector is dominated by males because it is an emerging field and has not received so much publicity in my area. Another problem most women face is lack of finances. Men tend to earn more than women, so they can have enough to save and invest in Bitcoin.
It will be a bit difficult to verify the gender that is actively involved in bitcoin but based on observations that occur in certain media women also often talk about bitcoin today so there are some conclusions that women's involvement is currently increasing. Women are now also working so they have an income that allows them to get involved in bitcoin but the level of decision making to undergo investment will be quite different from men because mentally they are much less ready especially bitcoin is quite speculative.

This is what might encourage women to be less involved in bitcoin investment and they are more likely to buy gold. Generally women also really like jewelry like gold so buying gold is not just about investment but as a lifestyle that we often see them use for everyday use.

There is no doubt that anyone can invest in Bitcoin, but here we only have to choose based on the ability to hold it. It does not matter whether the person who holds Bitcoin is a man or a woman, not only men have invested in Bitcoin, but a large number of women have also participated in it. I have noticed on various websites that women have contributed a lot, taking various risks to express their knowledge, skills and ability to take risks, and Bitcoin investment is one of them.
Holding Bitcoin ensures a lot of privacy, so it is very difficult to determine who has invested and what they have invested, but I think the number of men will be more than women. But I am sure that both women and men are involved in this Bitcoin investment.

I think that on this bull run, there will be more women. I have no stats to support that but with the narrative and everything that we see in the community and social media. There are for sure more women diving into Bitcoin because they are looking at the price and money that it indicates. Welp, there's this article[1] that has some charts in it about women earning more than men in Bitcoin(crypto).

By the way, I'd like to know what do women find attractive in Bitcoin (compared to men)?
Not that much I guess, more about the price of it and unlike us men and the early adopters we tend to say that "we're in for the tech" but not anymore I guess.  Cheesy

I believe certain fields will always have more men, the way some always have more women.  Its about what society expects, cultural thing, and probably individual interests. Men are generally more willing to explore and try new things, while women are generally more cautious and more rational. And I dont want it to sound like Im stereotyping, but its probably related to genetics as well. There are reasons why our bodies and minds are different.

It will evolve when more products will be able to be purchased with Bitcoin or other cryptos for them IMO. If you could easily purchase clothes, make-up, or things like that, I think their interest would be bigger. Maybe if some famous actresses or singers would promote it towards women it would appeal them too.

I find this question so strange, what’s actually so special? Well you can’t tell if large population of women embrace bitcoin or not even in the forum where there’s no gender indication some might be telling the truth while few prefer to stay anonymous. Generally every investor choose bitcoin investment or rather everyone find bitcoin attractive due to profit making likewise women also, just an investment choice for example average percentage of women are into investment so if anyone decides to go for bitcoin it’s understandable. I guess the internet will provide data about the population rate but I still don’t trust the information provided since it’s impossible to give accurate information concerning such.
