Anyone knows what the error: "BTB 0 usb write err:(-7) LIBUSB_ERROR_TIMEOUT usb_write error on avalon_write" means? I have regular bitburner and bitburner-fury chained to PC. Didn't get this error from start, only a few days.

Edit: Rebooting both boards works ok, but i want to know why does this happen.

If you are on windows read the cgminer readme and use zadeg to install usb drivers. If thats not the case then your usb-port might deliver not enough power.

Never had this error prior to BBF. Well i read about the usb port but i have it plugged in my PC ad why does it need power since i'm powering it via PCI-E power cables?

Any link with a good and cheap USB powered hub?

ATX would be the way to go, you can turn them one with a paperclip as power-on bridge.

Tried that last night but the power supply fan didn't spin up. It's a quiet one though so maybe the fan is idle until it heats up some. I'll try again and actually plug the bitburner into it this time around.

455MHz @ 32C?  Shocked Are you running them in your fridge???

Anyway I'll try with my air cooled bitburners and "--avalon-auto". Let's see what happens...

Those are watercooled which yields lower chip temperatures (they need less power at lower temps).
I would really like to see pictures of solaris setup, must look awesome.

Ok thanks. I'll try to find a high amp wallwart someplace, or else just get one of those headers to use my spare ATX power supply.

I didn't think to order a power supply in advance, doh. The strongest wallwart I can find in my house I'm not using is 12V 2A. I saw burnin mention earlier in thread that a 12V 2.5A would be okay to run a single bitburner board. Would a 12V 2A work safely? I'm running a single 20 chip XX board.
No, it's not enough for BTB. Non-overclocked BTB should take about 50W (on 12V that about 4 A), overclocked to 450 MHz takes about 105 W (that's 8.75 A on 12V).

My bitburners are running fine with

cgminer --avalon-options 115:32:10:35:380 --avalon-auto  --queue 4 --bitburner-voltage 1285

Does anyone know what version of firmware is loaded on the bitburners shipping now?
If its not the latest what was changed and should we update the firmware when we receive our miners?

Still waiting on the rest of my order #612 here, paid 27-July.

So far I've received one XX made from chips in Zefir batch 1.  Still waiting on the other two from Zefir's final batch.

Status: Processing

....which means that my chips (as well as anybody else's who wasn't lucky
enough to be in Zefir batch #1 or #2) were shipped to burnin exactly one month ago.

So far I've been patient all way along and for high esteem I hold burnin at
for everything he did for the community, but now I have to vent my indignation:

IT IS UNACCEPTABLE !

One month and not a single word, an update, an email or a piece of information.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH (with irony)

PS
For my order I paid to burnin on 24th of July and no, I will not perish because of it
but it just makes me PISSED OFF the way customers are treated.

My order is still processing...it is unbelievable. I also do not receive any answers to my emails ?!?! Angry

Order 7xx came in today. Thanks Burnin!

Order 6xx Still processing. Hmmmm.

I've got (3) 6xx orders "still processing" since it was paid in July. This is BS.

Agreed, one of these boards is being reshipped to me. Pretty disappointed  Undecided

My bitburners are running fine with

cgminer --avalon-options 115:32:10:35:380 --avalon-auto  --queue 4 --bitburner-voltage 1285

I run them with 1170mV at 380 just fine.

Yes, but with the --avalon-auto they are running up to 455  ( BTB 0 = 453;  BTB 1 = 455;  BTB 2 =451 ) with this setting.
If the voltage is below 1285, they don´t reach the 450.

i`m running cgminer 3.4.0 with a line and sudo.
Sommetimes it happens that speed is diffferent. once it`s 45Gh, once it`s 51....dunno why.
no change in my line or smth.

Is it possible to change fan speed by hand "on the fly" ??
Is there a photo of power section and a point where to check Vcore ?
I`m confused with cgminer`s 1.32 when i set 1.28 or so.
