The worst decision was to invest in gambling and ponzi sites to multiply my coins in quick time, I was newbie at that time and was not aware about the scams happening around.

Honestly, I was interested with bitcoin because I read somewhere that I can earn daily even if I don't have to do anything. So the newbie me, with sparkling eyes thought that I found a gold mine because I will just invest a certain amount and then I will earn a return daily and suppose to be they will pay me "forever". I was entice with it and immediately invested without researching about it first because others said that it was legit and they have evidence that its paying daily. After a few months and get back about half of my money, the site was offline and then poof they were gone.It was then that I realize I was scammed and then that's the time I research about it and found this site. I slowly learned about avoiding those kind of sites because its a ponzi scheme and I learned my lesson never to invest again in those kind of sites. That's my worst decision ever but then thanks also for that experience because I found this site and discover that I can earn bitcoin in many ways. It's not passive but at least I am earning and I am sure that it is not a scam.
Well many people here already experience what happen to you, I feel sorry for your lost, good thing before entering in any kind of investment do research first  before putting all your money in to it and before trusting, it's your personal money you need to be careful what you do and what kind of investment you want to enter, hope its give a lesson and theres more way to earn even without joining on ponzi.

Yes once you get older in bitcoin industry you will be aware where to invest and where to not, and which is the best and legit way to earn bitcoins.

The worst decision the same as me. when I had just joined a few months in this forum, I was tempted by an investment site that offers great results in the short term. but investment in gambling sites is not a bad decision, it was still better than investing in ponzi site.

Summer 2012. Diablo 3. I bought in game gold with bitcoin @ $3/btc - Spent 90 coins for 500 million in game gold.

IGG = 35 cents / million now.

I lose.

/wrist

At least you were involved with bitcoins when the price was low. My biggest mistake was not getting into bitcoins much earlier.

Getting late into bitcoin is not a mistake, and there is never late to get into bitcoins, whenever you entered into it you should appreciate yourself that you are at right place.

Not properly looking into bitcoin when I first heard about it around januari 2011 and forgetting about it for almost 2 years...
Those would have been some cheap coins...

Same here  Undecided
yeah, the same thing for me right now, i think that the worst decision is that i didnt buy a lot of bitcoins early, i would be a rich person right now

I bought the bitcoin quite early, in 2013. But I used most in that year. That is loss of 80% compared to current price.
well then i think you were lucky that you spent it back then though i would have held it for bigger prices to be honest, bitcoin is like investment for me

I guess my worst decision ever made in bitcoin is investing in doublers and hyip, that time im new in bitcoin world and can easily fool. so thats how it is, i invested lots of bitcoin, i bought it using fiat but i didnt get any btc in return in hyip it cant be widraw then my friend says i get scammed.

That thing should be really stopped. They target newbies in different areas and using bitcoin as a means of payment. At first I just look at it but sometimes I want to do something or warn others about it

That thing really happens almost all of us since we are also once a newbie,  we get scammed by those sites and other ponzi investments  because we  lack knowledge on those times but as the days and months passed by we  gain more knowledge unto things which we realise that those our common mistake when we are a newbie.

I don't know how to save money, I don't know how to save bitcoins. I'm a spender, and gambler.. what I earn I put in casino or I buy something. Same is with profit from casino. More money, more fun it is how it s with me. That is what is my worst decision with bitcoins, I regret cause I didn't made one wallet and from time to time send some amounts there. Now I would have a very nice amount of coins.
Other things doesn't bother me, I do what I like to do and I have great fun, that is important.

When it was around $60 I bought one for the hell of it.  Spent it pretty fast on random stuff and the next thing I know it would have been worth a thousand dollars.  Definitely not my proudest moment.

I wouldn't say that not selling when the price peaked at close to $800 is a bad decision on my part. I am into bitcoins for the long run and I am trying to look at it in the bigger picture. Good things come to those who, so they say. If there's a decision that I regret, it is about buying altcoins without looking at their previous performance. Although it was only for a small amount, I still could have done a better job on choosing what to buy or not to buy at all.

If you sell at $800 and then you can buy back at $600, then that is a good selling decision. Otherwise it is better to hold.

Yup I think that is most of the users are doing  buying low and selling high and that is the best way to make profits from it as we all know price ups and downs will always follow bitcoins.
