Most of the time that will be a common mistake here in the forum spending bitcoin then the value will increase, well actually there are even more worsted mistake done using bitcoin, and for me that is getting a negative trust here in the forum and thank god I never did such distrust doing here!

My biggest mistake was not buying it earlier when I knew about it. It was at a fairly low price and I could have made a nice profit.

Cryptsy is a big exchange site. Like the Mt Gox saga, we can't really say that this kind of company will eventually turned to scam. Even the famous exchange sites today can be turned to scam so as a precaution never put all your eggs in one basket. There are lot of big exchanges today and we can use some of them at the same time disregarding their rates.

In case of HYIP program and ponzi scheme, awaring the public about that are quite easy because all ponzi scheme has only one common denominator when introducing their scheme in the public.

Newbies will not be aware about the frauds and scamers, so I think we should start a new thread on the forum so at the initial stage only newbies will be aware about the scamers and frauds and will not loose their hard earn coins to them.

Those are a lot of years that passed by. I really also felt that one when I just thought about it. And to answer this thread that is my first mistake I did. Not with Bitcoin though because I dont have one yet in those times.

I think we have the same story issue, I have known bitcoin since 2011 I ignore it because I don't understand back then how it works sad to say this recent 2015 someone open my eyes! on bitcoin and how to earn it then that is the biggest regrets I made well at least I learn from that mistake,

Yup! just like you said there are really tons of scam investment sites out there so be very careful you can always report it here in the forum if what are the sites that are ponzi or scam so others here will not be fooled by them you can prevent and help other people by doing so! Grin
