I continue to try to be good a trading altcoins but the market is just too volatile and completely manipulated that it feels like gambling some times. I didn't lose too much or invest a very significant amount but it's always hard for me to lose even a couple of bucks so I don't recommend anyone without deep (or inside knowledge) of the market to get into it unless you just want to fool around if you want to keep your BTC.

Other altcoin other than bitcoin is easy to manipulate that's why I considered this method as a short term investment.

Worst one would be ignoring it once i first heard of it, and the most recent one would be not selling once it reached 450$
But im sure there will be much more similar mistakes in the future  Undecided

Could you mind explain why you consider not selling at $450 is a worst mistake?

Buying at 450+ recently  Tongue

I didn't get the picture.

my worst mistake was to gamble like a freak and lose ~0.4BTC and again tip to wrong address.
Understand that I’m just a normal guy, and I didn’t become a gambling addict right then. Little by little, I started to play more – sometimes after work, other times when I was waiting for my daughter’s practices to finish. The fact was that gambling was ridiculously easy to hide – I actually jumped at the chance to chauffeur the kids anywhere because it gave me a good chance to play.

The biggest problem I did with bitcoin was to invest on the wrong time.

It only happened once but it was a real pity.

I also had another problem that was that I did not saved my bitcoin for a long time.

I had sold my Bitcoin three years ago and I am now as a regret.
But I'm in consideration that I am now going to buy and go wait.

I lost some btc investing to cloudmining sites turned ponzi and scams a while back. But it was just minimal i was just testing waters..
i just entered btc world when scrypt was a (good invest) everybodys said.. so lost some bitcoins there ..

Well investing in something is not bad, but if you invest in something that you are not really sure that you will gain anything then that would be a problem, always research on it before investing money on it!

One of the worst mistakes I've made with bitcoin was investing
Investing in scam sites and losing everything I've invested.

It sucks if this has ever happened to you but you'll get over it once you figure out a way to make more money or get more btc.

feel you lost alot on investment sites and i dont talk low sums under 0.1. but now i stay away so i learned my leason i guess. i guess it would make me angrier if i did not have a job. and i was dependent on the btc in some way.

My biggest mistake in Bitcoin, was not mining in 2010 when you could mine thousands of Bitcoin a day. The people that did are rich now.

True but bitcoins at that time are like cents right? So they dont really care much. That is why nowadays they are looking for their old computers at their garage or their attic and make it work again so they can claim those btc that they mined long ago.
Right, I will regret all of my life if I have thousand BTC on my old computer but I cant save it.. LOL
