Yeap, i don't like to trade only because that's stressing me so much. I like to hold prospective coins and imagine bright future)). To trade you have to be very patient.

If you're looking for stress free investing you should try to invest in something different from cryptocurrency.

there is not a statement that can convince that investing in the crypto world will not have risks.I think all the investment activities we do in the world of crypto are of course at risk.only in terms of scale maybe it can be convinced if we make an investment on a small scale of course the risk level will be not too large and vice versa when we make investments with large amount of risk will also be large.so just a great study that can determine your success in making a crypto investment.

After a while here in the forum I read a lot of members worrying about there crypto investment/trade. I would rather choose a stable and highly trustworthy altcoins to invest for the long time rather than chasing those coins thru trading. I find it super stressful to read those people losing large amount of their hard earn money.

As good as that sounds, not a lot of people are patient and can't hodl for shit.

Daytrading must be hell, i imagine.

Everything in our mortal world has its value. It's the law. Cryptocurrency, even bitcoin, Ethereum and other coins - all subject to UPS and downs, with fluctuations can be small, and can be significant. Stress is inevitable, learn to just fight it, and you will be much easier.

investment does not happen at all without risk. However, investing in crypto currency is especially risky. I distribute the money so that in the event of a drop in value, don't lose all the money.

Investing on altcoins that have volatile prices is extremely stressful, everytime the price fluctuates, it is really frustrating to even monitor the price and hoping for something. Investing on a more consistent altcoin can be a good idea if you are referring to have a long term investment instead.

Crypto can't be stress-free investment due to its nature of fluctuation. Doesn't matter which coin you select for investment it can fluctuate to some extent better consider CryptoAlphaStar suggestion of investing in Bonds  Grin

If you want stress free investment, you can go buy some bonds and be happy with the 0.5% yearly return.
Nobody (except idiots) puts lifetime hard earned money in crypto.
You took the words right out of my mouth.  I find it funny that OP is alluding to some sort of mythical "stress-free altcoin investment", since I think that something with that description doesn't exist--not by a long shot.  For a while there in 2016 or so, when I was frequently on Yobit, I'd watch altcoin behavior (Yobit lists everything under the sun and has shitcoins that don't seem to ever rise above 1 satoshi), and it always amazed me that some of these coins would get pumped up to gains of 1000's of percentage, and within a day they would fall back down to a couple satoshi.

Since then I've learned a bit about myself, and one of the things I learned is that I don't have much of a gambler's mentality.  I have tried to day-trade some shitcoins and did make some money on some of them, but more often than not I lost money.  And for the entire holding period, I'd be paying attention to the shitcoin's price, with a sell order that never seemed to be reached.  It was like mental torture, and I've read in threads like this that I'm not alone in that feeling.

Stress-free for me is investing in good stocks that pay decent dividends.  Bonds are kind of boring to me, and I've never bought any, but good stocks can rise in value and generate some passive income.  As much as I'm fond of bitcoin, it doesn't provide stability or income.

Choosing the right type of coin so no need to worry to be able to invest in the long term is a simple way to avoid stress free. Actually if you are already in the world of crypto do not feel worried about the loss even to lose the money we invest because one of the most real risk in crypto we can lose the money we invest if we are careless and not careful.

Firstly, I think you can reduce your investment amount to reduce the stress. Also, I think all of these currencies have really fluctuate prices, so, it is really hard to find a coin which has no risk.
There is no coin that you can find in Coinmarketcap or anywhere else on the Internet that will be a no risk trade. You have to accept that fact.

Actually, you are right. There is no coin which can always rise. I just wanted to say, by choosing more trustable and stonger coins, the stress level might be reduced.

Investing has always been risky, so it's not for everyone. But if you want to be successful with your investments, you have to take certain risks and be ready for some stress. But the thoughtless investment and throwing of all your finances (including selling property, etc.) to invest in a project you have not studied thoroughly is a full foolishness.

I know an idiot that puts his hard earned money in crypto and he didn't regret it. You may call him an idiot but he is not an idiot investor. He put his money in Bitcoin, Ethreum and NEO. This guy do the research before he invest in cryptocurrency.

Yes, i would always want to choose a stress free investment. But before you can choose what investment you should be on, you need to research about a certain project if that project is really solid. And that was the hard part. Everyday new icos, new platform, new projects have been introduced to the markets. How will you know that its a good one.? even the project that you think is good may turn out scam one day. These days the cryptomarkets is so volatile, even if we choose to be stress free, there will come a point that we are thinking of our investments. So we will be stress. What we can right now is try to lessen the stress.

Try doing bounties. You don't invest money. So you have no chance of losing your own money.

I think only we can make anything being 'stress free' a myth or reality, and it has nothing to do with the 'right' or 'wrong' investments. So practice being stress free instead of choosing an investment that is so.

Each investment is stressful. Where there is money, emotions arise. You can only try to reduce the impact of stress on your decisions.

i don't think their is a stress free investment..maybe the best thing to do is just spend and invest your money you are prepared whatever the outcome wether you will gain profit or you will lose what you have invested.

It's okay to worry because investing is about taking risks. Before investing you should know in the first place that you may or may not be able to make a profit but at least you try. It is stressful in the way you are worried about investing because every investment is worrying.

Agree. I don't think you should calling it "investment" if you're worried about a trade all the time. That kind of trade should be called speculating or gambling. Investing is putting money into something that you believe will earn you more money in the future. If you're worried about it then you're not believing on it or you haven't done your research.

I don't really feel bad for people who lost a lot of money from a bad trade. They should have known all the risk involved in that particular asset.

You are right in 1000% because i was trading about 2 years and this is very stressful. And only about 5 months ago i have decided that i will be holder and this is great, because the gold rule of investing is - if you can look calmly at a  -50% of your deposit you will earn a lot of money on investing  Grin
