the longer i live, the sadder i tend to feel as i see more of life and how horrible people are to each other.

if i lived for thousands of years i'd be so freaking bitter that my mind would find a way to kill me out of mercy.
Yeah your heart will be filled with sadness and loneliness. You'll be there when each and every one of your family dies, until you're the only one left. If I were to choose, I would choose to live forever. Because I just wanna see how things will change in this world and how the world will end. I want to see it with my own two eyes.

I think it’s only cool to life forever if you are a character in a romcom or a movie for teenagers. In real life it would be terrible to see your family and close friends getting old and eventually dying. + you will have to somehow change your appearance because with all this social media we have now it would be super easy to read lose that you are immortal and track you  Shocked
and don’t forget about all the crazy scientific breakthroughs you will have to adapt to over like 50 years. I’m not sure we will even be humans in 50 years from now

It becomes a difficult decision if you were truly unable to die, if you could choose to end your endless life at some point then definitely I would do it, it also depends on what age you would be. If you continued to age then living as a 100+ year old blob wouldn't be very fun.

I would choose it if everyone else did. Losing family and friends wouldn't be worth it so they would have to live forever too.

II thought about it already...
and I think it would be very hard to hide myself. but it would be interesting.
Why would you hide yourself?

I think he means that it will be suspicious to other people if he will not get older  Smiley
Ah, true I guess. Would just need to become rich and pretend to have kids every 50 years or something if you don't want to move countries all the time lol

In no case. Eternity is too long. You will get tired)) Gradually, everything will get bored and become monotonous. Every day will be similar to yesterday. And then the children will not give birth. The meaning of life in its development and continuation of the genus. Eternal life on earth is impossible.
If you get tired just take a break and do nothing until you feel like doing something again. There's a lot of development and innovation, so even if you get bored you can just sit back for a hundred years and be amazed by a completely new range of possibilities to live your life.

I would say more than likely yes. I don't know if I would stick around for "forever" but a few thousand/million years? Why not, the way things are right now I feel like one lifetime is not enough time to experience all that life has to offer.
That's my problem too. There are so many things that I want to learn and try out that I would probably need a hundred life times to even get started.
