I would say more than likely yes. I don't know if I would stick around for "forever" but a few thousand/million years? Why not, the way things are right now I feel like one lifetime is not enough time to experience all that life has to offer.

To live forever is probably too dangerous. But I think I could enjoy one or two reboots, provided I can remember who I am Smiley

I like your idea. I think I would agree. I guess it would really depend on what 'forever' looked like... Do you get the same life? The same brain? The same skills?

It's a dangerous idea, to be sure.
Forever means you keep going, no reset. If you keep going, you can always choose to learn something new or to experience something new. So there's nothing dangerous as long as you remain in a healthy body.

Like Duncan Mac Cloud, of course to live forever is good and does not get old. How much you can interest the experience for it to receive and benefits, and a whole bunch of jobs to change, all professions comprehend, all countries visit and live and have a wife in every country to have.
Don't even really need jobs if you can live forever, since you can just live off of interest and investment profits. Which means that you could choose to do whatever it is that interests you and spend all your time either traveling and eating or learning new things that excite you. Either way, longevity sounds like a clear win to me if disease is not an issue.

Not really, why live forever?  At a certain age, u dont even enjoy living.
I think its a better idea to die and let the people younger enjoy it for you.
That's not true at all. If you stop enjoying life it's because you've made the choice not to and has nothing to do with age.

The fact that we will die makes us stay lively n do many things with utmost pleasure and happiness and thrill. If we will know that anyways we aren't gonna die, we will just do nothing and wont do any hard work to achieve anything, because we aren't going to die anyways so why all the hard work.

I don't want the feeling of being left behind. I don't wanna be left by the person I loved. That is why, it is better to die or being a mortal rather than seeing your loved ones dying and leaving you. That's the worst emotion that I don't wanna feel.

no one lives eternally in this world
life and death are in the hands of god
They're the same thing though.

I mean if it was just me and none of my family and friends then I wouldn't be interested. But if my family had it too then I would love that.

Really only if you have super power. Because what if you lose a leg. Look at the moon, after billions of years look at all the craters it has.
