Well, I would say that I did this back in 2014. My mother already deposited all the money I need to pay for school for the year and also some allowance for my daily needs. I gambled around half of it on NBA odds. I lost that half. So I lived on really cheap food and really avoided buying anything. I even tried to avoid buying things I need like books just to save money. Was a gruesome year for me, luckily I got through. Wouldn't do that again.

How bout you guys, would you do it?

Dumbest idea to do, lol. Luckily, you could passed through that moment even though laboriously.
We know the chance to win on sports betting higher but sometimes it tricky if team that in match are and many people lose, I don't recommend for anyone to do the same thing except you're ready to deal with the consequences.
I just play for fun and don't have intended to throw so much money on gambling, play safe man.

I wouldn't gamble ANY money that I have put away to save up. Especially if it would be the money I saved for my children. These funds can go away within SECONDS if you got a bad day. Gambling is known for meaning loss in the long run.. Why would I do this to my children?! I mean I would rather keep that money and give it to them later than trying to double the amount and losing all...

NO, I wouldn't do such thing, it is just gambling, doing stuff like that in gambling is not just worth it. Instead of risking my money in that which is already saved up for something, I would rather spend it to some important things like buying projects for school, buying books and so on and for foods. I'm not crazy enough like you to do that, my mom would kill me because it is not that easy to earn money and I am just going to spend it on gambling? No way, I value my life lol.

wow that is the worst thing, to gamble your child's school fund, it is still bad to do what OP did and gamble and lose all your own funds but the worst is when you gamble other people's money even if it is your own children. and sadly this happens a lot among gambling addicts who look for any source of money for their gambling, hopefully we don't see many of them around here.

This is a wrong way to gamble never used money that is needed for something important because if anything goes wrong and you lose you will create another problem for yourself. Only gamble your extra money. As for the topic no i will not used my or my child's school or any important funds.

Its a tough one for me, I wouldn't know how to offer a good advice because I have gambled half my monthly income before and I did win. On a normal circumstances I wouldn't dare do that but I was so pressed to service a loan and that made me take that crazy decision and it paid off so you've got to decide for yourself and listen to your inner self and you'd be able to make the correct decision.

I have seen enough reason why I would not just from your story . There are things in this world that we must prioritize first and obvioulsly we must prioritize our studies over gambling . I have already finished my studies and don't have a children yet but gambling your child's school fund is far more worse than gambling yours cause someones life depends on it . Yes you can endure a thrifty life cause it is a responsibility you must do because of your decision but your child can't and moreover your child did not do anything to deserve that . SO DEFINITELY NO

While my guitar gently weeps!!!
Nope, I didn't do that, and also, I can't... When I am still studying, I only do that during my graduation at high school, I have a money that time from my savings, but it is not enough and I really really want to bought a guitar for my self, so I decided that when my parents give me the contribution for that graduation rights, I will use it to complete my money to purchase that guitar... Then the day came and I bought that guitar, then after a day, my parents buy me a guitar so I have 2 guitars and I have to sold the other one and my parents already know that I didn't pay the money they gave me... But still, they pay it again... I could consider it as a great adventure of my life, that I can't forget until now...  Smiley

You sir, are a degenerate gambler (or were). I laugh, but not laughing at you. I laugh because I myself have been there, not as crazy as your story, but bad enough. I am still a degenerate gambler, but not Legendary status degenerate gambler. Way back when I was younger, I used to use money that was supposed to be for food and other real life needs to gamble. It was my own money that I earned, but still bad. I remember having to make do with ramen noodles and peanut butter sandwiches, lol. So sad.

Anyway, I've learned to keep my gambling bankroll separate from my real life bankroll. I don't have any kids, but I would never, at least I hope I would never ever gamble with any of my kid's school fund or any funds for my kids.
Experience really tells us on what is right, when we are young we are too aggressive because we want to experiment ways to win in gambling and unfortunately we failed in the end, I know we can lose but the value of lessons is very important as it will help us grow as a person and not just in gambling but in real life as well. We just prove something that not everything we want is right for us, and you have to give up things to live a normal life everyone is hoping.

if you really don't have the money savings yourself lebih baik tidak berjudi, if you gamble with school fund or borrowed money it will worsen your situation. I'll never do that

Thats not a smart move mate. Its like you gamble your future. Whats done is done. You shouldnt throw away that money because its for your future. Your parents worked hard just to give you that money. You just throw it away just like that. Its a stupid move and selfish. Your lucky because you have money to pay for your school fees because a lot of people dont have a chance to enter school.

Well at least he learned from it. Gambling has indeed destroyed lives, good thing for OP he didn't lose everything and he was still able to pay for school. He was young and stupid, we all have been there. I've had my fair share of loses in gambling. I would advise young ones too to stay away from it unless you want lose money and gain heart aches.

Back when I was new in gambling, I think of gambling for the future of my family and that includes gambling for the education of my children, but I have never come to a point that I will risk the money for the education of my children. I feel like, if I do that it's like I am robbing them and eventually might ruin their future because of the stupid decision I will make.

I have never experienced that and never will because I don't want to risk anything that is not mine to begin with. I think your mom worked hard for that money and you just gambled half of it. It's good that you managed to work it out and somehow lived.

Does your mom know about it?

no I won't do such a thing, gamble is supposed to be fun and only gamble with the extra money you got, I won't gamble with the money I need to spend and I won't jeopardize my future only for gambling, and nobody should do that, don't ruin your future because of gambling, you need to become a smart gambler

If I will take risk with my school funds and if I lost them then I will be removed from the school by the administration that is why I cannot think to take any risk with the funds of my school and other point is that mostly my parents conduct that duty for me to submit my school fees etc.

Well for we are just the same when i was in high school that instead of using my allowance from school buying pencil ball instead of use my allowance i just keep it and soon ill gamble playing a card game or gamble with my friends and play game like tekken this game honestly is addicted before that you can bet if you can win to them or not..
I am same avoiding buying a food so i choose to buy cheap foods just to fill my stomach..
That right now i realize that thing and i am now a father that i hope that it will not be the same as what i did before..
