Why should anyone shy away from using Libra? If I feel that investing in Libra can bring me the profits, then I will invest in that asset. But that looks unlikely as of now. First of all, in my opinion Bitcoin has more future potential when compared to Libra. And secondly, it is not yet clear whether the Libra roll out would go as planned or not.

I think if later this Libra coin will be released I will not buy or use it. because I already have bitcoin which in my opinion is far better than Libra coins. many people say that this libra coin can become a global currency making it easier for us to transact between countries in the world. I will answer I already have a ripple and tether (USDT) that I can count on in conducting transactions between countries. and the value of tether is also stable.

If we compare with the utilization of cryptocurrency now is indeed still deficient, which is mean there are still a lot of people who has more interested to use conventional system such as western union or use paypal to sending their money to the different countries. Yeah, I'll see first the utilzation of libra coin will be used by many people as sending money tool comparing they use it as payment system because they will have a system to make a transaction that use money fiat.

But, I believe when libra has launched and for those who knows it especially facebook user will choose it as a sending money tool comparing they choose wu, paypal and etc. However there is several thing that should be considered by the people who will use it. Facebook had a bad image against his user identity. And I just think, its system is not secured at all and this is one thing that I doubt to use libra coin. Maybe I'll choose another service which trusted by many people and didn't have any scandal.

I am contended with bitcoin I have no any reason to use Libra being a centralized crypto, likewise majority of other crypto enthusiasts would also share my own view, although that does not mean that Libra would be dead on arrival, of course it entry into crypto sphere would be a welcome development and competes with other crypto apart from bitcoin after all XRP is another centralized crypto that has been in the system for long and striving hard to be relevant the system.

A big NO. I'm satisfiefld with their social media website/app and already contented with it alone. Bitcoin is already enough for me, I don't think I need to switch into a copycat lol jk Grin. Honestly, one of the main factors I consider why I refuse to use it is due to privacy concerns. FB already knew a part of my whole identity and I don't want that my money and all the transactions got the same fate.

With so many controversies arising from this tech giant's ambitious actions, we never truly asked the most important question.

Would the people actually use Libra should it be approved by the congress?

if I am asked to use libra or not? I don't have a definite answer yet. because I do not understand what platform libra is using. this includes the stable coin class or the coin group that has fluctuations I don't know yet because this coin hasn't been released yet so I can't answer the OP question. if libra has a good platform and technology then of course I will buy it. we wait for the libra project to be released next year.

If it has advantages, then why not?

Specially in the area of money transfer, I think Libra will be a good choice/options even for those nocoiners around the world. Not sure what will be the fee, but definitely Facebook is going to lower it to disrupt the money remittance industry.

As far as I know, Money gram and Western Union, two of the top remittances today, charges 7%. So if Libra will cost 'nothing' or just a fraction of that, It will make sense for people to use their services. It might take longer though, as I'm sure those two will fight it out and won't simply allow Facebook to just steam roll and take over.

Not all are willing to use Libra coin especially if its only working on the system of facebook. Those who have paid advertise might be use this one but if you are just a normal user then there’s no need for you to use Libra. I don’t want to mislead myself about Libra coin because right now I totally have no idea on what is the main reason for Libra to come in the market, maybe if there’s a real whitepaper I might study that.

The main reason of deploying Libra is of course additional source of income to the FB team. It all boils down to that, the money that they can generate from this new business venture. They can always get people to use their coin once launched. With the scope of FB across the globe, they can always get a market to utilize their coin. But as for me, since I know that more than possibly, this coin is centralized, I won't use it. They might even know every bit of detail of my personality if I will use this. So no more privacy. So nope, will not use this coin.

For those people that are using FB's services like sponsoring their ads, they might have been forced to used it if FB will include it to their payment scheme and they have to convert it first.

But as for my position right now with this project, I don't see myself using it for the meanwhile although it's not yet launched. I can't tell if there will be some great convenience that it will offer to everybody.

Each project seems to be the best before it is created, but this generally results in a later transformation into shitcoin. Libra has not been created yet and before long the few companies it has contracted broke the deal. Obviously, Libra is far from being shitcoin, but why should I use it without knowing what it is. When the time comes, we can think about it.

yeah you are right when the Libra coin come to the market then after that people should think whether they will use it or not because nobody could decide from now that the coin will be good or not, and i think it is totally a foolish decision to adopt it even without knowing anything about it, so we should decide on the spot.
People arent that fool not to know even the basics of that coin if it would really have that usage or not.People will surely use it for sure
yet we know on how facebook is popular yet they will surely use up this coin for their own and i dont see a reason that it would be use
on other means.

I would never use it unless it becomes mandatory and when it does, we are doomed and there is no actual point any more.
Those fuckers are evil, never have had an account there and I'm not planing on creating one, I'm convinced that this company should be dismantled, preferably in a violent way. Don't get me wrong, I'm an ally to free market but this crappy CIA front is nothing close of being a product of the free market, so as this coin of theirs. 30 pieces of Libra for the Bitcoin? How about no?!

Depends on its function, and I never used money to use facebook so I don’t know if Libra is applicable to me but first i want to know if Libra is only good for the marketing side on facebook. There’s a big pressure already with Libra and I hope they can survive on this so they can make their coin public and users of facebook can try that coin.

Libra was created for the mainstream audience, as any person who has a comptent understanding of crypto-currencies would really be using Libra to send money to other people, since they would be aware of the other options out there.

With Facebook's userbase though, if Libra ended launching, it would have given them a huge community in the crypto market, and they would be able to reach a lot of people that wouldn't really be able to reached if you where another company.

Facebook is on of the most widely used social media platform here in my country so if Libra coin offers a lot of use through their platform aside from remittance then I might try it though I don't plan to invest on any money if ever Libra launch a public token sale because its a stable coin which does not offer good returns in the long run.
Probably the use of it is only for their platform but I still don't know if people would actually use it. I can't tell it right now but I am certain in myself right now that I am not using Libra coin. It's better to use the known resources that I already have than using currency for my purchases online.

I believe I'll use libra at some point. There is more discussion whether Libra will get launched or not. Without doubt I'll say it'll get launched and it'll get a big response. In such a strong manner I mention it upon the words I heard from one of my friend who did internship with Facebook. On a conversation he elaborated how Facebook work on things, every new feature that gets launched now have been developed at least five years back and there'll be continued study and development. This perfectly gives with a good outcome, that means Facebook could've taken their entry to cryptocurrency and blockchain years back.
