I had my order come in on Friday, and after sampling everything over the weekend I have to give a big A+, thumbs up to these guys!

I ordered a pound of the honey caramels, and during email correspondence he told me how they were fresh made and shipped quickly, and now that I have them I can say that fresh candy like this makes such a difference, it tastes soooo much better than store bought candy that's been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long.  Highly recommended, if you enjoy caramel candy you should give this a try.

I also ordered a small jar of raw honey, and for the price it really is unbeatable.  At my local natural grocery store, I can buy raw honey, but seriously, it was actually less expensive to buy from these guys even after shipping than what I would pay for a similar jar of honey where I live.  The honey itself is fantastic; the flavor is perfect and to anyone who has compared raw honey to processed & mass produced honey, the difference is night and day.  Right now I'm typing this with a mug of coffee that I sweetened with a spoon of this honey.  Very delicious, to say nothing of the health benefits of raw honey.

I also ordered a bag of their honey roasted almonds, always being an almond fan.  Again, the freshness is what makes all the difference.  If you buy a bag of honey roasted almonds at the store and compare them to these, well, there is no comparison, the fresh honey on these almonds was no doubt the best honey roasted nut I've ever enjoyed.  Personally I would have preferred a bit more salt on them, they were a tad sweet, but even then I would choose these again over any other almonds.

Their customer service was great, he even threw in a handful of extra honey caramels made from a special batch of honey he recently obtained, and they even refunded to me the small difference in shipping cost from what they expected it to be to what it actually was.  Some extra candy and the excess shipping refund were nice surprises, but even without them I would have been just as happy.

To anyone on the fence considering placing an order with these folks, do it!  They have lots of good products in their store and you can order a few at once like I did to save on shipping.  You won't be sorry.  Great job Bees Brothers!

The caramels must be even better when they're fresh, sadly shipping to here took around 1-2 weeks, so they weren't fresh for me anymore Sad (still delicious!), and I totally agree with you on the honey, it's soo good.

Thanks for the review.  Glad you both liked them.

1-2 weeks shouldn't make a noticeable difference in freshness.  We have some that are over a year old that we check every once in a while, and they are still good, but there is a noticeable difference in freshness.  We have told the couple of stores that carry the caramels that the shelf life is 1 month.  We picked that time because we were worried about odors in the environment absorbing into the caramels (like being stored next to some garlic or something).

High humidity is probably the biggest enemy to the caramels.  High heat makes them softer and can get really messy if they have been sitting in a hot car and are given to kids Shocked.  So far we haven't had heat problems during shipping.  That's why some of the chocolate products we don't offer until winter.

We usually work in the kitchen 3 times a week.  This way we don't have inventory to store or keep track of, and we can guarantee that everything is shipped fresh.

Ah, alright. And yeah, mine didn't melt or anything, so that's good. Some were a bit flat, not sure if that was supposed or if they are originally square, but they tasted just as good. I'm going through these caramels pretty quickly so I might place another order pretty soon =P.

You guys willing to sell any honeycomb for bitcoins?

Yes, we have been doing comb honey a couple times this week.  One of the boys cut and packaged some comb honey just a few hours ago (11:00pm) to enter some into the county fair.  Here is a picture of some we sold today at the Gardener's Market.

The only problem you need to be aware of, is that there is a little bit of space in the packaging.  If it gets banged around during shipping, it won't look as pretty as it did originally.  We have two extra pieces we did tonight that can ship Monday.  We have been selling them at the market for $8 each for (at least) 8 ounces, and they sell out fast.  The two tonight are 10.5 and 9.75 ounces.

I think it's really cool of the dad to do this with his kids. My parents would not be nearly as supportive of this as you are being. I applaud you.

Yeah, I've earned $1k from BTC but my dad still isn't impressed and thinks it's a scam.

Just wait until we cash out and see their faces XD

EDIT: I don't want to spam this topic any further with my off-topic discussion with Mooshire, sorry for any inconvenience. As a response to Mooshire's post, I have already cashed out actually. If you wish to speak further about this please PM me.

Hah, that's cool! I had no idea this actually existed of 14,13, and a 10 year old. That's pretty awesome.

Just so there is no confusion, I, the dad, usually do the communication on bitcointalk.  Oldest son has his own account, but rarely posts.  He does answer some of the questions in PM's from this account.  Anxious for him to get a drivers license, so he can take his brothers to work the bees without me having to be bothered Cool

Ah, alright. I was impressed by the quality of the communication =P. Anyhow, it's great what they're doing! I love the caramels and I look forward to purchasing from you in the future.
