What good is mining in ensuring integrity when big mining farms can get all the coins within the first few days? There is no evidence mining ever results in a more or less fair method for distributing coins, especially when coins are sold cheaply during an ICO that it costs less to buy off the wall than firing up your ASICs.


So why are you even in Bitcoin? What is the purpose of Bitcoin but to transfer money for businesses and individuals to, you know, MAKE MONEY!

And Joe, aside from being in the photo, is not mentioned in the press release. He was an employee who ran Sharepoint services for a company widely considered as integrity challenged.


That's the beauty of this kind of scam. There aren't miners. All the coins were sold in ico to people who work these kinds of scams. There are no coins to sell. The point is to pump the price high, then once a bunch of newbies jump on the bandwagon, the ico people sell and the price collapses to near zero.

It is the same scam run again and again and again.

Is artificial intelligence cool? It can be.

Does this coin have anything to do with AI? Nothing apparently.

Is there some secret value to "storing databases on the blockchain" etc? Many coins let you store data publicly. Why would you want to store a database on a blockchain? Think about it  Why not store your databases on computers that will use them? It makes no sense.

Is there some reason a new coin with brilliant technology can only be developed if people give lots of money up front to the devs? Almost never. Usually demanding money up front is a hallmark of a scam.  

The people who run this scam will come up with ridiculous explanations for each of thrse points but use common sense.

As for the tech of the wallet. This is cool. Data plumes are something I want to test. I think this means that we have data stored by our peers? This is hard to understand even with me reading the examples. Seems over complicated explanation huehue.

Yes I agree, I like the idea of crypto as well. Also I think the work that is being put in is truly amazing. But still, speculators will be speculating. Without them there would be no market (value)

I wouldn't go as far as to say that 99% of us are here for money. Maybe 85-90% of people are, but you would be surprised at how many of us (me included) are here simply because we enjoy coding, we are passionate about what Bitcoin stands for, or some other reason besides getting rich.

I got in to this because I wholeheartedly believe in what cryptocurrency stands for, and since starting down this path I have advanced my knowledge in many areas, due to this. So it's a win-win for me. Sure making money is a bonus, but for me, it's all about the tech.
