that could certainly work, but what about the need for an X first?

XϾX

BTW, the Ͼ is called "Lunate Sigma"

XϾX looks cool!! just if it has to be displayed like XCX then, not sure how many ppl would relate it to Crypti,

Here I had to do it even though the X is in the middle...
ϾXI

But if Bitcoin has BTC and XBT (IOS 4217).. Why can't we add the IOS 4217 for Crypti as a side thing?

I meant it looks even more like penis with that letter instead of "C". That's the most hilarious ticker discussion ever.

Oh boy!! is this what your talking about?? re-vote!! pls god re-vote!!!

The ticker should begin with X

We should follow the ISO 4217 currency code standard.

Currency codes are composed of a country's two-character Internet country code plus a third character denoting the currency unit. For example, the Canadian Dollar code (CAD) is made up of Canada's Internet code ("CA") plus a currency designator ("D").

If a currency is not  sponsored by a government or country in specific, it is preceded with an "X". If Crypt is ever to be added to the ISO 4217 currency code list, this will happen as X... like the gold: XAU, bitcon XBT, Monero XMR..

So I think we should  choose a Xsomething ticker from the first day.

XCI
XCY
XPT
XCR

...

XCI....... roman numeral for 89, and a linux Client
XCY....Château-Thierry - Belleau Aerodrome
XPT..... ISO 4217 standard for Platimun
XCR..... abbreviation for CROSSSOVER, and The IATA code for Vatry Airport in France

XCP... is the ISO 4217 standard for COPPER
XCX  is Citibank, United States (ICAO Code)

So?

CXX is Python extension
CXX is clothing brand
CXX is Roman numeral for 120
CXX looks like dick with no balls

Have we really sunk so low that we must use vulgarity?

One other option for a ticker would be CRPT...if you pronounce the "T" as "Tee", the symbol sounds out crypti.

Thats pretty cool!!

Yes it is

I believe CRPT was on the other poll we originally ran and had very few votes. The tickers copied over to the vote that we are using now here on the main thread were the top results from the previous voting if I am not mistaken.

Nope, was my suggestion and never added to the poll. But I could care less what the ticker is.

Yeah it got 3 votes take a look

Several of our team members really liked XCR (I think Bitseed initially proposed it) but it never caught on here.

Sorry guys...I missed that CRPT had already been on a previous poll.  But I agree that if CRYPTI is not a viable option, that it should be removed from the current poll.

I figured thats what you did ... just never thought to try and pronounce it...

So with the 2 tickers added mid-voting and the fact that many votes have gone to CRYPTI (which may be too long to use) I just think it's best to say, we all like the word crypti and it's not going anywhere but we just need to vote on a 3-4 letter ticker... I say remove CRYPTI and let those re-vote for their favorite 3-4 letter ticker...
