Well actually it's the greek capital dotted lunate sigma which is fat in the middle

I have been working with it

and it really just seems to be how the "C" shape is displayed by the font type...

They are not real cryptis? It's just on a testnet.

That does it - if Ͼ is called a Lunate Sigma we have to use it.

Both CXX and XCX looks great. the XX can represent encrypted characters, so the C gets all the attention.
SEX would be the perfect ticker, and CX is pretty close.
My first vote is for XCX as it can get more eye attraction and hopefully will be followed by interest.
The negative part about the XX is that it can be perceived also as cancellation attribute if not within context,
XCX is somewhat better the CXX in that manner.

The dotted lunate sigma can be great as a symbol, but lets keep it simple (as possible) for the ticker itself
