Wow, if you are going to speak with us that way we will just go back to work. Jakethepanda, try to imagine this like a business, if someone was in a office I managed and you spoke to me like that I would kick you out.

I would like to formally apologize to jasinlee and ATCsecure for my outburst. My first thoughts were dilution and for some reason I thought CACHe had like some ridiculous amount of coins.  I was confused, and to be honest, I'm still confused.  Hopefully, I'm not XCommunicated. Embarrassed

your fired bitch... get out... no just joking... its ok.  we forgive you.

In the most simple terms we are a collaborating with Cache (hence why jAsin is a consultant) on cool new tech. Coins remain different.

Hey, how many xc must i have staking to be paid in 24 hours?

staking does not work that way.

Sorry, im too new in pos, could you, or somebody explain me how it works? Are any difference in Xc?

Encrypt ur wallet, HOLD ur XC in wallet, unlock wallet every now and then, could be every day, could be once a week, and watch them "mine" in ur transactions. the more you have, the more you stake/mine.

Just be patient, because it could take anywhere from 8 hours to 30 DAYS for a batch of coins to stake (you ll see like 200 from your 10k coins in "stake" status and they will stake during the day, giving u your reward!

By the way for those worried about PoBC and forks, this will simultaneously auto correct any potential forks in the future. One of the beautiful things about a clean codebase is flexibility.

Its is like RAID 5 -striping with parity - for the block chain.

XC and Cache are going to be assisting each other. Cache is halfway through a complete rewriting of the satoshi codebase in clean oop code. When finished it will be applied to xc and xc features to cache. Good things usually come from collaboration, this is the way the crypto community should be acting instead of everyone fighting. Smiley

Maybe this is why ppl are dumping now.

Some of you seem to have expressed concern at the news about Cache and XC. The fact is that Jasinlee's rewrite of the codebase is one of the most powerful developments going on behind XC. It'll have an enormous impact on its future, and will play an instrumental part in bringing real, staking wallets/nodes to mobile devices, POS-integration and anything that isn't a PC. XC was created for the real world, not just for a crypto niche; Jasinlee's work is a part of what is taking us there.

Probably something you should have included in your publication instead of the surprise and now many questions.

In a year, I doubt any fork still existing will be working off any codebase but the one cache will share with xc first.

Found this on PoBC. Looks very interesting.

If you pull this off, your right, there will be no more POW or POS, there will be no need.

from the MP chart sells are much more than buys

Learn to read chart history. The coin has been holding up and down in a pretty much tight area for the last few weeks now. It might go down, but it always bounces back up just about as much. So there is buy support.
I was seeing the 3day chart -_- And if you see 24h there is insignificant buys compared to sells... people get so emotional here lol

Synch, has this been distributed via a paid for press release service?

If not I would like to pledge $500 in BTC for a paid press release that gets delivered to premium financial sites like Wall Street Journal, yahoo finance etc. I know a service that will hit a ton of top sites and get lots of indexing on search engines like google and yahoo.

In the press release we can also embed images and file attachments like pdfs and even a video if we want. We can also link to the a news section of the XC site so people can keep informed (lots of people won't know about bitcointalk).

We haven't got to rush this and can spend time preparing it carefully.

I will cover the cost of the release and send you the BTC in advance. In terms of constructing the release and the content I will leave that to you and the rest of the XC team. I am impressed with how you put everything across. We may need to "dumb it down" slightly though, so it doesn't go too far over everyone's heads. My only input is that in the article we make a small comparison at some point to Bitcoin (something a lot of people know) and highlight the strength of proof of stake, XC anonymity etc. Comparing to things the public know already will be a fruitful approach.

I will discuss the company I would like us to use and anything else over PM.

Please message me.  Wink

Any developments on this?

I think he already made the donation.. someone should set up a XC donation address back to mr random for donating 500 bucks of his own holdings to put XC in paper... like wtf is this guy rich or something ?  dang.

we need POA; proof of ass!

Basically coins will remain separate, two different coins with two different teams. jAsin has own team for Cache and we our own team for XC. JAsin is helping remaking the wallet in simple terms. He's developing a new qt wallet that will be faster to use and develop for.

The coins will not be joining, they are two separate coins.

After the conference we can worry about the roadmap. And rewrite of the satoshi codebase.

Oh shit, your still at the conference?

GO TEAAMMMM!

And apologies for the comments here today. The majority of us love you both dearly and fully trust your judgement beyond any doubt.

Extremely excited!!

More details will just confuse the roadmap. This is just the planned architecture, and will allow decentralization and simplified adoption and a permanent undeniably anonymous method of transacting. We can worry about more details after 2.0 and the rewrite.

Do you have a timeline for the public release of the roadmap?

+1

it is a pain to hold XC blindly. and we all know something big will happen. and we do not want some damage Sad
