All altcoins are getting hammered. XC is doing quite well considering. It shows the confidence the market has in XC... So just hold until the recovery, we should see a big run by then.

Ltc , drk all getting hammered guys, no shock a few big sells here, the market is being run by the bears at the moment, take 7 days out...

Dunno - don't want to put my tin-foil hat on, but look at the action on coins with a similar price, volume and drop - it's 10's and
100's - the odd thousand when the panic has really set in. Our pattern is just someone dropping 2-12K out of their bag every 2 hours. We've got through at least 20-30 btc this way. It's so retarded I think it must be the same guy. Whatever - maybe they're trying to take advantage of the general panic - but then you'd expect them to put a wall down below to sweep up the sells. Confused. Maybe mike^3 understands this?

EDIT: in fact you can see he's working on European time - he does a dump at elevenses after coffee (after his actual dump that is), another at lunchtime. Then  after the evening he does another couple - one at midnightish, and one at 1.30am after watching a bit of porn once the mrs has gone to bed.

+1!

Been bummed all day since hearing this news, most especially knowing how he died.  Can't understand how a person who touched so many lives, made so many people laugh over the year.....could kill himself.  The man brought so much joy into the world, a shame it was apparently giving enough of it to him in return.

New Beginning!
Those sells do not make sense. If it had happened once, I'd say someone needed the money urgently. My guess is that he most probably has inside information and he is either playing games to cause panic or he is bailing for some mysterious reason.

Back to 135k...
I wonder how low he whant to go Huh

Calling mr Whale - no one except you is selling. Why not try not putting in dumb-ass market orders and you might make some money. How can someone this dumb have so much
change to throw?

He sell like he is afraid of something.
The amount of sells are way more that my holdings.
My point is that he sell very large amount of coins...
I believe that every bag has an end.

We don't know why people sell. Maybe someone needs the money to pay for an operation for their child? Who knows?
What we do know is that the market seems to be able to absorb selling.
We can't expect this coin to shoot upwards yet , I don't think, but maybe in time we will be glad some one did sell here....or not. Smiley

yeah i stopped using cryptsy.

I liked Cryptsy...but there are too many issues I am hearing from disconnected sources.

If they get their shite together than maybe...but they still haven't updated the name of XC from X11coin to XCurrency.  I know I am not the only one who has been pushing for it.  Seems like a small detail but it is a simple fix which, to me, indicates larger problems.

Do not under any circumstance use Cryptsy for XC trading (or any trading).

You will not see your coins for days if you transfer them.
Has happened multiple times now. Support is useless.
Either incompetent or using the money as a float.
If you withdraw small amounts - they work (after a few hours to a day).
The larger the withdrawal the longer they hold the funds.

I used Cryptsy on and off for a year. That is the end of that.
After 100 withdrawal problems patience with them is done.
They are likely doing something shady with all those delayed withdrawals.

cryptsy is such a poverty exchange. It's like giving your BTC to a group of mentally challenged individuals. I dont even know anyone that uses it and I talk with about 40 or so traders.

yeah i stopped using cryptsy.

Is there any news from HashEvolved ?

I think that the guy(s) behind HashEvolved were independent of the XC team.  Not sure if they are working on it but I believe that multipool options were being looked elsewhere...

I would like a multipool for XC but I don't think it is necessary...
It's not necessary, but it was a nice convenience.  Although they were not flooded with users, maybe two dozen or so.

I've still been mining, just at a btc multipool, and then occasionally buying xc on MP or bittrex.  I'm probably doing a bit better placing my own buy orders, rather than the randomness of the pool.
The dollar cost averaging was a nice feature of the XC multipool.
