Wifi is working.

I do not understand how to use this build.

Where do I enter pool info?

The setup command does not have a place for stratums

Please help

How to use and configure XMOS

Simple command to configure XMOS:-
1. At terminal type xmosconf - works
2. put in your ETH wallet address - how? what? do I uncomment the # MY_ADDRESS : Your public ethereum address
so it looks like this -  MY_ADDRESS : 0xsomelongaddresshere
or do I do this - MY_ADDRESS= 0xsomelongaddresshere

3. put in your Pool address on Pool1 and Pool2. (STRATUM Mode) - These DO NOT EXIST.

It will wifi support for WPA and WAP2 only.

To configure Wifi please follow this step:-

1. sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces
2. Put in your wifi AP Name and Password.
3. Restart the system, it should work.

Everything your using.
I have a working Ubuntu 16.04 desktop version running with WiFi.
Basically I was just going to put your bash scripts on my Linux.
This rig has 5 Nvidia on it. 1060 x 4 and 1070 x 1

I already tested it with latest Ethminer and it runs good.

Hi, OverEasy,

The Bash Scripts it selfif if just copy over other like that it won't run.

If you already have the Ubuntu Server running, try to install Nvidia driver and the ethminer 1st.
Make sure this 2 is running fine 1st.

New Version of XMOS is coming..   Grin Grin WIth Wife Support

Good Luck ..

Happy Mining...

Hello all,   new on the board .
english not my first language .

Newbie as well in mining, I gave a try  to Cyclenerd scrip t .
That script is a bit confusing to understand, then , if time I will write a tutorial .

Without script , I run   4x Evga 1060Gb  6G  SC

drivers 384-90 nvidia   Cuda 9.0

stock   ~19.5 Mh/s with etherminer cuda from github
with a bit of overclocking    stable  23.4Mh/s     +125 clock  +1200 mem

connected via ssh to the headless rig

I run those commands

sudo nvidia-xconfig -a --cool-bits=31 --allow-empty-initial-configuration  (you can try --coolbits=28)

###  REBOOT######

export XAUTHORITY=/var/run/lightdm/root/:0

export GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE=100
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1

nvidia-settings -a /GpuPowerMizerMode=1
nvidia-settings -a /GPUMemoryTransferRateOffset[3]=1200
nvidia-settings -a /GPUGraphicsClockOffset[3]=125

sudo nvidia-smi -pm 1
sudo nvidia-smi -pl 77

ethminer --farm-recheck 2000 -RH -U -S "eu1.ethermine.org:4444" -FS "us1.ethermine.org:4444" -O   oX----adress ethermine----.name of the rig

Nice to meet you

Hi rigmoulin ,

TQ so much for the information.. I will try your recommendation..

Looks good, I am running two rigs with this currently.

Few notes:
- I set my timezone with setup (GMT+3) and time is three hours off.. but in order to solve this there shold be several tutorials.
- some kind of alert in case of reboot would be nice
- some kind of summary/dash screen would also be nice

Thanks so far!

Hi Tigel,

TQ for trying XMOS...

1. For time setting on ubuntu you can google it, my current configuration is follow bios time.
2. You mean when alert when "cuda error" deducted before restart the rigs?
3. You can use gstatus as simple summary .

Your setting does not work with my Gigabyte 1060 OC Windforce ... It stops the FAN and my GPU went up to 87 C Sad
it should be NV instead of MY in the confing and ' instead of "
MY_WATT='80'   -> NV_WATT='80'
MY_CLOCK='100'  -> NV_CLOCK='100'
MY_MEM='1100' ->  NV_MEM='1100'
MY_FAN='85'  -> MY_FAN='85'

I could easily burn my GPU today... so please be careful what you paste !

Hi,
Here's my settings using a Zoltac gtx 1060

MY_WATT='80'
MY_CLOCK='100'
MY_MEM='1100'
MY_FAN='85'

I currently get about 276 mh/s on 12 miners or about 23 mh/s per gpu.. That the exact same has as I get on my Windows Miner.

Just an update for 1060 6gb owner ... the proposed config its not stable at all and crashes the miner. So far my best experiment is with the following config:
NV_WATT="110"
NV_CLOCK="100"
NV_MEM="935"
NV_FAN="88"

After 20 Min i got from 15 MHs up to 19 MHs ... hopefully will do better very soon. However I'm not satisfied as I'm reading on internet that ppl on Win get up to 25 MHs with this GPU, which is +25% of what I'm getting.
Hopping for better, any help will be very much appreciated. XMOS Rocks Smiley

After changing the PSU to Cooler Master 450W, i do have higher hashrate now:
#192.168.0.100 [15.46Mh/s] [/home/prospector ]# gstatus
CPU TEMP:- 33
System Uptime:- 2 hours, 44 minutes
GPUS Installed:- 1 Pcs
name, power.draw [W], fan.speed [%], temperature.gpu, clocks.current.video [MHz], clocks.current.memory [MHz]
GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, 98.00 W, 90 %, 58, 1721 MHz, 3802 MHz
#192.168.0.100 [15.45Mh/s] [/home/prospector ]#

Can i improve the hash rate more with Manual Overcloacking as this is with Auto_OC ?

Hi Trimqemali,

Maybe you can try this setting:-
NV_OC="1"     # "1" Enable Nvidia Overclock, "0" Disable Nvidia Overclock
OC_MODE="2"   # "1" Enable Auto Overclock, "2" Manual Overclock Setting, "3" Fo$

NV_WATT="85"          # this to set max watt for the GPU is 85watt if not stable can put higher, max is 120 for 1060
NV_CLOCK="-100"     # set Core Clock -100
NV_MEM="1450"        # Set 1450 MHz to the memory speed
NV_FAN="88"             # Set fan speed to 88%

On gstatus out put screen, make sure the memory speed is more then 4000MHz.
Most of the DDR5 memory is stable at 4000-4200MHz
Please find out the stable setting for ur card...

please run command ifconfig to check network connection,
Ip address also showing they..

I managed to login now .. Thanks ... however i do have very low hash rate. My Asus 1060 wont go more then 3.9 MHs,
CPU TEMP:- 30
System Uptime:- 35 minutes
GPUS Installed:- 1 Pcs
name, power.draw [W], fan.speed [%], temperature.gpu, clocks.current.video [MHz], clocks.current.memory [MHz]
GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, 31.93 W, 88 %, 32, 569 MHz, 810 MHz

And here is my config:
NV_OC="1"     # "1" Enable Nvidia Overclock, "0" Disable Nvidia Overclock
OC_MODE="2"   # "1" Enable Auto Overclock, "2" Manual Overclock Setting, "3" Fo$

NV_WATT="-90"
NV_CLOCK="-180"
NV_MEM="-1450"
NV_FAN="88"

Also on AUTO i do get the same POWER and HASHRATE... my card is powerfull isnt it ?

Hi,
I think you put a wrong setting. For GTX 1060 maybe you can try this setting.
And here is my config:
NV_OC="1"     # "1" Enable Nvidia Overclock, "0" Disable Nvidia Overclock
OC_MODE="2"   # "1" Enable Auto Overclock, "2" Manual Overclock Setting, "3" Fo$

NV_WATT="85"          # this to set max watt for the GPU is 85watt if not stable can put higher max is 120 for 1060
NV_CLOCK="-100"     # set Core Clock -100
NV_MEM="1450"        # Set 1450 MHz to the memory speed
NV_FAN="88"             # Set fan speed to 88%

On gstatus out put screen, make sure the memory speed is more then 4000MHz.
Most of the DDR5 memory is stable at 4000-4200MHz
Please find out the stable setting for ur card...

Happy Mining ^_^
