hi. guys

I only have  ccc.keys file, its build on monero.win.x64.v0-8-8-1, ccc bin file had deleted.

---------------
monero.win.x64.v0-8-8-6 bitmonerod.exe is runing

monero.win.x64.v0-8-8-6 wallet got that:

You had been using a deprecated version of the wallet. Your wallet file format is being upgraded now.
Error: failed to load wallet: file not found "ccc"

====

monero.win.x64.v0-8-8-1 wallet, got this:

Some days ago, a speech by Nicolas van Saberhagen was announced by the "Cryptonote Foundation" :

You can see it announced at the official web page of the "International Workshop P2P Financial Systems" here : https://ecurex.com/p2pfisy/assets/files/P2PFISY2015_Program.pdf

The speech was not by Saberhagen (as it was announced by the Cryptonote foundation, it seems a pseudonymous) but by Tomaso Aste ( see http://www.cs.ucl.ac.uk/staff/tomaso_aste/ ), does anybody has information about the contents of the speech or the link between the speecher and Cryptonote ?

It wasn't Tomaso Aste, he was the Discussant (sort of like a moderator that is supposed to critique the whitepaper / idea). The presentation was given via Skype, nobody could make out what the person was saying, and everyone basically fell asleep in it.

lol

Thanks, then who gave the speech ? Is there a recorded session ?

i have a question: if i make many transactions with the same amount and same mixing in a short amount of time, it is still not possible to proof it was me, since we have stealth address, right?

All those transactions will have different ring signatures, may use completely different inputs of varying denominations, and will seemingly go to outputs that are never really "spent". The section on Temporal Association Attacks in MRL-0004 is worth reading.

Mac download doesn't work on my notebook.

Be more specific please.

(osx problems)

I could never get the binaries to work on my Mac either. Do this:

Code:
Ensure Homebrew is installed, it can be found at http://brew.sh
Add the repository to brew: brew tap sammy007/cryptonight
Build Monero: brew install --HEAD bitmonero

Just to keep everyone in the loop on this - we introduced a bug in 0.8.8.6 that broke static binaries on some platforms, this is fixed in 0.8.8.7 (RC binaries out soontm)

P2P pools
With all the updates mentioned above we expect Bytecoin network to significantly increase. P2P pool is a temporary sidechain that implements decentralized pooled mining, which is important for network decentralization. In line with CryptoNote's philosophy it decreases the dependence on large mining pools.

Sidechains, wat?!

Is it true?  Or April Fools?

Definitely they know what they are doing if they show us what is in the road map.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Hey guys, what's with this latest rise?  Is it a mystery or was there a clear catalyst?

Check the speculation thread.

I'm surrounded, and outnumbered by fools  Angry

Consider researching http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_Fools%27_Day and re-read the Bytecoiner's announcement. Then read again "Get ready for Early-April 2015, probably the first, fools!" word by word, and think. Try.

( facepalm) ahahahaha Thanks for that!!!

( my brief scanning bitcointalk while at work can miss nuance )

ooooh a self moderated topic. Good luck with your pump!

You underestimate the seriousness of what's coming, Ginger. Version v.1.0.4 of the GUI wallet will feature Color themes, AND Various work in progress announces Colored coins and assets on an anonymous blockchain!

Who else could deliver THAT?

This goes far bejond simple BlackCoin, WhiteCoin, ReddCoin or Pink! You can have a Blue GUI Wallet AND Colored Coins, on an anonymous blockchain!

I'm all in. Allready put up my only daughter for sale on some arabian prince's auction site. Mortgage on the house. Wife up for auction next, if she complains too much. Shut up and take my money!

Not to mention all of about 4-10 more website redesigns.

I'm just sayin' you might wanna consider throwing a kidney in that list.
