but if you really want your coins secure, word on the street is switching to linux. Seriously. Spend 50$, buy a 64 gig USB drive, load ubuntu on it.

mymonero.com is safe. Certainly not as safe as having your own wallet.

Other exchanges don't force the mixing count of 3 and therefore don't increase the networks overall anonymity. Anonymity and privacy don't come free and in this day and age with everything that is going on around us this is a tiny price to pay IMHO.

You are right, the benefit is not for the exchange rather the benefit is for the Monero network.
