No more bitching about price drops. You invested in a alpha-stage currency in the infancy of crypto-currencies. Adoption will be stifled if everyone just cares about is doubling up over night. Go to a casino! Keep in mind the broader goal of creating a balanced and decentralized currency in which the world can participate. This is what the crypto-currency movement needs to be about . Not quickly turning over your XMR for USD/EUR, but competing with the established system. I believe if we lose this vision the movement will fail. So everyone hold on, you knew this would be a ride . why XMR is down!!!!!!
There are not enough buyers to sustain a price of say 0.008 at the moment. 24k XMR is being mined every day, at 0.008 that's 192 btc. Surely it's not all dumped on the market but it's certainly contributing to downward pressure along with people who bought higher that are now selling in panic and also people who bought much lower who secures profit in btc. Nothing surprising about this, every large price increase tends to overshoot and come back down. Hopefully you still got a decent amount of BTC, buying range 0.002-0.004 is decent (buy more the lower it goes). In fact previous increase when XMR was added to poloniex took us to 0.008 and down to about 0.0017 before it turned up again. I think we're staying above 0.002 this time though. why XMR is down!!!!!!meanwhile block reward dropped bellow 16 xmr, and will keep going down

nothing really for the casual investor to look forward to on a rigid or short-term timeframe.

There will be probably some pump on mintpal one day, probably not too far away, when big mintpal pumpers will have accumulated enough cheap xmr to launch the pump.

I am trying to transfer small sums, like 2 or 1 or 3 moneros, and it keeps saying the transaction size is to big, whereas yesterday I was able to transfer more than 5 monero at once, what is going on :/
The problem is dust from the pools - you have a huge amount of inputs when spending. Pools won't sent you dust any more and in the next version the wallet will split the transactions for you (with larger fee). Currently your only option is to send smaller amounts (possibly to a new wallet of yours so you could then transfer it all at once).
