I believe in the CN technology and will invest money in all of its coins. But it seems better to not get involved with XMR until the situation with it stablizes.

I mean with all the price fluctuations after each of such trolling escapades one starts wondering if all of the other coins' algorithms but Monero's have BS-proof properties, along with ASIC-proof.

Hah! Can you believe this guy? Whatever the reason for trolls to love this coin so much and produce all the FUD, just ignore this bait and he'll get bored.

Also, one good way to make these guys shut up once and for all is to get rid of all the uncertainty and doubt by making certain the coin gets added to as much exchanges as possible. Look alive, guys! Only about 30 registered users gave their voice for Monero in our voting so far. That's not so much for a tread of this massive size. We don't want whomever owns this guy overtaking Monero do we? Let's push forward and get Monero integrated into Hitbtc as soon as possible!

Our exchange supports up to 1 000 000 operations per second and SEPA & Swift transactions. From Monero - straight to USD or EUR.

Man, does one of your managers have a good stake in XMR? Why are you trying so hard?   Wink

New commit pushed that limits max block size to 196.6 kb.

Block propagation @ 1 min is dubious past that block size even with SHA256D, so we should be careful to build blocks large than that.

We also have other stuff that needs testing if you're adventurous:

Transaction splitting (no more "tx too big errors")
https://github.com/tewinget/bitmonero

Wallet operates without RPC presence and new RPC semantics:
Code:
wallet RPC converted to use new transaction semantics

wallet RPC now uses wallet2::create_transactions and wallet2::commit_tx instead
of wallet2::transfer.  This made it possible to add the RPC call /transfer_split, which
will split transactions automatically if they are too large.  The old call to
/transfer will return an error stating to use /transfer_split if multiple
transactions are needed to fulfill the request.
https://github.com/tewinget/bitmonero/commits/rpcwallet

Massive amount of fixes for RPC and wallet stability and serialization:
https://github.com/mikezackles/bitmonero/tree/daemonize

Wrapper for wallet functions
https://github.com/Neozaru/bitmonero/tree/wallet_wrapper

Lots more in the pipeline that's soon to be merged to master, stay tuned.

I'd rather pay .01 once I know the bloat is fixed, than .001 when it's still unknown whether it can be solved.
Anonymint said it cannot, but I'll keep watching. Either way, once it drops I'll reassess the situation. I'm not just referring to the pool bloat, but the denomination bloat. Refer to Anonymint's post history.

Bloat is the price for anonimity in terms of cryptonote algorithm. Itself, is not so a big problem, I believe devs reduce it to reasonable level. The most problem is I have to restart bitmonerod time to time, it still buggy & uses 'boost'. Devs are working on replacing it by 'leveldb'. With leveldb terabytes are not a problem. Also, terabyte SSDs are coming to the market.

So I think, the only issue is for Monero devs to work on bugs, work accurately and subsequently, like a fluffy pony Smiley

Between abysmal English writing skills and blind fanaticism I doubt it isn’t obvious to anyone what these guys are trying to achieve so hard. All in all, I don’t believe this abjection is worth the $500 those greedy bastards paid me, so here I submit to your court a list of the serfs who were under my submission, trying to impose a genuine interest in a lousy fork under my vigilant eye:

Are you saying I am your sock puppet?  Huh

Did the same pumpers who hired you the first time pay you to write this because they're now dumping?

Oh hi there, Dave! Or is it Carol who's posting today? How's your payment this month?

yor sir, failed miserabely

smooth is one of the core devs of this project, pretty sure code won't get coded by some sort of PR company stuff and surfer43 operated for a long time the biggest pool. And a pool doesn't get maintained alone.

Just a lesson, if you want to troll in the future, you sholdn't use a new sockpuppet account and also you should, maybe, just maybe, inform yourself

So it's Dave, after all. Couldn't possibly mix you up with anyone else. Do you mind answering my previous question? Did they finally raise your rate? I'm just wondering what keeps you doing this.

Perhaps I am too new to the altcoin universe but the level of actual FUD recently is fascinating to me.  There seems to be a few folks intent on damaging this projects reputation as much as possible and through some of the most outlandish means I could imagine.  The twitter account was fairly left field for example.

Do other alts get similar attention?
FUD increases with market cap, I've found. More value means more envy.

I'll buy in when it hits .002 or lower. That's pretty much inevitable with this inflation.

Hey Darkcoin bag holder, how about your Monero buy order at 0.001  Grin Grin

I'd consider a few BTC worth at .001. It'll be there soon with this inflation.
I said or lower. Monero has a few fundamental problems, but it's still (a distant) second best. According to Anonymint CN coins are DOA, but like I said, it's a hedge.

You do realize that the price was 0.002 when you said you'll buy at 0.001, right ?
