Tested https://github.com/Lucasjones/cpuminer-multi . Cpuminer-multi ~ 10h/s , simpleminer ~50h/s with my 24 cores.

Assuming you didn't do anything really stupid, that's quite a gap. It could mean that the author implemented it pretty badly. What CPU is it, perhaps I can improve the performance?

24 x Intel Xeon L5639 @ 2.13GHz (2 sockets).

I checked hash rate with http://198.199.79.100 statistics

Okay, er... wut?

24 x Intel Xeon L5639  --  24 processors? Nah, he probably meant cores; typo
(2 sockets)  --  Wait, if he's running two Xeon L5639s... that would be 8 physical cores and 16 threads. Where is 24 coming from?

http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Xeon+L5639+%40+2.13GHz&cpuCount=2

Looks like it is 6 physical cores x 2 cpus = 12 physical cores --> 24 threads.

http://198.199.79.100 (aka moneropool.org) successfully submitted a block. Miners will be paid for their work once payments start working.  Smiley

P.S. This is actually our second block today. The first was orphaned. :/

Please, add payment statistic

Quick question. Will it work under WinXP? Does anyone mine MRO under this OS?

There's a CPUMiner fork that supports MRO that I was asked to compile. The github is here: https://github.com/Lucasjones/cpuminer-multi

Here are the binaries, statically linked so there's no DLLs to carry around with the executable, and signed with my OTC GPG key, just like my win64 sgminer binaries.

Does this work with a regular node? It wasn't clear me how to do that, if it is possible.

New pool: http://198.199.79.100/

It can submit blocks thanks to the latest update of node-cryptonote-pool. The share difficulty is initially 600 and adjusts so the miner submits a share every 2 minutes. The domain name is moneropool.org, but the dns isn't working yet.

Note: you may or may not be paid, payments are still untested.
link on binary for cryptonote-easy-miner is not work.
Where can I get cryptonote-easy-miner for Windows?
I added the download link to the site, it is http://198.199.79.100/cryptonote-easy-miner.zip
Regarding my pool: At this point, the payments don't work. But the work you've done for each block is still saved and when the payment bugs are fixed you will be paid.
How we can conrol our balance?
You are automatically paid. There is no way to control your balance.

bitcoin was premined. Satoshi has around 1 million BTC and thats a big problem for bitcoin. At least the rest are spread unlike BCN... oh and btw Satoshi announced bitcoin start. Didnt wait for 2 years to make a thread Smiley
It was not premined, it just happens that no one else care for it for a long time, that's different.

there is no ./bitmonero or ./simplewallet binaries in the ~/bitmonero/build/release/src dir.
Look for ~/.bitmonero, not ~/bitmonero/build/release/src/.bitmonero Smiley If you use a GUI, check "show hidden folders". If you dont, use -a on ls (the good ol' ls -lah is a win)

Thanks.. they definitely weren't there (nor hidden). but for some reason cloning for git and manually running make -j 2 worked, bins are built & all up and running now.

What are the chances of being paid?
A fix for the payment issue has been released, the server will be updated soon. I can't say how likely it is you will be paid, but I will update here if a pool server on a testnet successfully pays out or doesn't.

edit: server updated.
