is someone spaming the blockchain?

it seems to have started ~7h from now, somewhere around block 917600

I guess if you're gonna do it, now's the time to do it, since after hardfork it will be a bit more costly with minimum mixin enforced.

As I understand the situation on the stock exchange Kryptsi number of available coins decreased and thus their value increased, if wrong correct.

They were hacked in 2014 and therefore insolvent currently -> http://blog.cryptsy.com/post/137323646202/announcement

That's the line they're using while Big Fat Vern is on the run ATM. Sounds like every other excuse from every other exchange.

Good thing pretty much everyone here has known not to trust that place, well at least everyone has been warned every time it has been mentioned.
Just type Crapsty in the search and check out all the warnings.

Pretty retarded how they are reporting how they located him, as if he doesn't read that thread. Real Amateur hour going on. He'll probably walk.

Hey Coinwarz says there will be 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 Moneros to be issued.
http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency/coins/monero

Could someone please inform them about the real number which is about 18 million.

It's ~2^64 actually, but the problem with Coinwarz is that they used a comma instead of a dot after 18,446,744.

is there a problem with mymonero today? when i login i can't see any transaction history or balance ...

Indeed - looks like the Galera cluster is getting hammered by a DoS, which is causing deadlocks for legitimate users. I'm busy filtering it out and it should be fine within the next 10-15 minutes.

cool, thanks fluffy (for a moment I thought the worst ... cryptsy'ed)

Even if MM disappeared we still wouldn't be able to spend your coins, and you'd be able to recover them either through some other service or directly through a modified simplewallet:)

Bear in mind that if MyMonero did a Cryptsy, which is actually quite a poor comparison because Fluffypony can't access your coins, you would still be able to recover your XMR.

Claymore still has upper hand.

270x
wolf-xmr-miner-0.3b 360H/s
claymore 420H/s

Keep in mind clocks in my config file ARE NOT SET - you need to use an external application. Same with powertune and fanspeeds.

Additionally - driver version, rawintensity, and worksize?

catalyst 15.7.1
clocks 1105/1475
rawintensity 672
worksize 12

Yeah, worksize is usually best a power of two, or at LEAST a multiple of 8. Try 768 rI and 8 ws.

Anything over 672 gives me error.
Error -61 when calling clCreateBuffer to create hash scratchpads buffer

Display GPU, I assume. This shit should help: rawintensity 384, worksize 8, threads 2

Thanks, this worked very well, now getting 405H/s.
There is one more disadvantage, wolf-xmr-miner-0.3b uses 35-65% of cpu, if I try to mine on my 2 GPU's then the CPU usage is 100% and comp freezes.
Claymore CPU usage on 2 GPU's is 20-40%.

Thanks smooth, can you link tewinget's work please?

Maybe complete, maybe not. Github search is a pain and I'm not so expert with it

https://github.com/monero-project/bitmonero/pulls?page=1&q=is%3Apr+is%3Aclosed+author%3Atewinget

A suggestion: You might consider crafting a funding proposal for the position you think needs to be added. When people suggest that you "do something" instead of just bitching, that doesn't necessarily mean you do the coding yourself or you fill whatever other non-coding roles you think are needed yourself. It could just be initiative to make it happen.

I welcome your feedback in any case.

I'll check it out this week, good suggestion.

thx, havn't kept up on that thread.

Commenting seems to be coming along.

Why it is not possible to withdraw xmr from bittrex.com? XMR can be exchanged to BTC and BTC can be withdrawn but XMR can not be directly withdrawn. Why?

Sorry if this is not right thread for this question.

Quote from: Bittrex
XMR had some issues and the chain needed to be resynced. It's still in the processing of syncing

From poloniex:

Quote
XMR Withdrawals and Deposits are enabled. Maintenance has been completed

EDIT: Hopefully they upgraded to 0.9.1, which should result in withdrawals being send with mixin >2 (I think simplewallet even has mixin 4 as default).

EDIT2: If anyone has some funds on poloniex, perhaps try a little withdraw to see which mixin they use?

CK certainly isn't a GUI wallet however I believe one is being developed at this time, someone recently took up the task.

Did you ask bittrex?  I have no idea how quick their support is.

It was working yesterday.  I have seen this happen before on bittrex with Monero as well as other coins.  It usually lasts less than a day.

Ok. Thanks.

I have not yet asked of bittrex what is the problem.

I also can remember these issues with bittrex. This is why I hold most of my coins in my own wallet. I think I will now take every coin out off bittrex.

And comparing to Claymore's - you can add the 2.5% to my hashrate, as it's subtracted from yours (effectively) when using his:
772 + (772 * 0.025) =
772 + 19.3 = 791.3H/s in comparison.

It also would be nice if your miner will show difficulty of found shares.
