Awesome news.  I'm just getting ready to put some more money into XMR and have been lazy and putting it off.  Looks like that was a wise mistake.

I'll take all that cheap Monero you don't want right now.

I guaran-fucking-tee you'll want it in 2016 and I ain't giving it back at any price.

someone thought xmr was apple?
Any thoughts on trendline now?

For most people, crypto is "some sort of stocks".
And ... the stocks didn't have a great day today.

Bid support is down to 50btc. Can't remember when I last saw it this low. Looks like whoever wants to buy sub 200k will have this opportunity soon.

It's not been this low since it was introduced to Polo. Sad times and RIP the top longers. Not surprising while btc is sliding and I can see it sliding another $100 or so easily. Nobody wants to hold alts while the other side of the trade loses $ value.

How do you keep your energy so high? I love crypto but this has been a brutal 1-2 years.

I took 16 years from the determination to become a millionaire to actually becoming one. So 1-2 years is not too bad.

You should have multiple energy sources - when one is consuming more energy than it produces at the moment, you can allocate it more energy from your other sectors. Crypto Kingdom is (again) good, because it has become an energy source for many, not just an energy sink.

Please tell us your 16 year story.

It's somewhere in his posts. I know this for a fact because I've read it before, so if anyone is feeling like playing post-dig-up'er feel free to do so :-P

Any more?

Ive always been a fundamentals guy so i marvel at people who use technicals to ride the wave.

Nice price move for bulls to .0055-.006 range.

DEPTH:
80K XMR / 80 btc
67K XMR / 125 btc
56K XMR / 164 btc (today)

Crazy move on depth as the balance has moved from 50/50 XMR (in thousands) at rougly .003 to 25%/75% at double that.

We'll use this ratio as a measuring stick for later price moves (EG: Looking for something like 25k XMR / 300 BTC at a price of .0001 would be continued bullish movement. If it doesn't keep up not a good sign.)

CHART:
Stayed above EMA except one dip. strong bullish trending.

HASH/DIFF:

Jump to 7.4 mm from 5.5 over past 2-3 days. Continued adoption.

We'll see what happens.

Can't find the link for Mintpal voting but currently #4.

Speculation on GUI miner and Mintpal voting seem to be current drivers. Anyone got anything else upcoming folks are interested in with Monero in a nutshell?

Oh I remember those days... Smiley

... However, I hope the majority will end up at least middle class in this ride.  Smiley

Global resources would easily support a system where all humans earn a modest living wage, and then depending on talent and willingness to work they could earn a commensurate salary: it's the ideal mix between socialism and capitalism.  The most talented and hardest working humans deserve to earn very high salaries while no one deserves to go hungry/sick.  I think this is something that we can all agree on, and I also believe that giving every human something of value that can be *lost* should they resort to violence and crime is also a powerful motivator that will see crime rates plummet.

The only problem with this ideal meritocracy is the canvas of global politics and money which basically makes it impossible.  Crypto is the hot razor that will slice right through that untearable fabric and help build a world that operates on a level that makes this one looks like the stone age.

In the big picture?  This isn't about the rich and poor.... we're trying to escape any of the thousand catastrophes which could wipe out sentience here at any moment.  The critical mass of intelligence on this planet has been reached, and either we will ignite a form of conscious fusion, or we will implode back into the nothingness from whence we emerged.

Wouldn't it be neat if Monero really is one of those crucial molecules on the path to where we're going?

Liquidity has come back. That is what I like to see. My general expectation is for USD Price floor to rise inversely as block reward declines, until DNM adoption increases currency use.  Being the most liquid privacy-enabled coin in the universe makes the selection of XMR a no-brainer.
DNM??

Darknetmarkets. Nice to see you back in the XMR topics btw :-)

I never left. I lurk from time to time.

Good to hear!

XMR at the lower limits of its trend line?

I wouldn't be surprised to see a wick below 0022 but me thinks we're getting close to a change in trend

The trendline is currently sitting at 0.0022, perhaps 0.00224 will make a nice local bottom :-) Furthermore, the declining volume indicates less hefty selling.

EDIT: Channel visualized, lower line is at 0.0022, upper line at 0.00252
