Kicking myself I didnt buy in when they were at $7 but there's a lot of that sentiment going around.

Don't do that, I'd be in bruises if I'd do the same - I regret selling at $1.60, though at the time it seemed like a good trade, having bought at around $0.40! Kicking yourself will not help!

Well, i hate reading this reminder to myself.
I sold half of my holdings last year at the breakout around $1+ which I bought at around $0.5+.

Now, this is the reason why I am holding tight the other half.  Cool

Do you think the price will rise a lot soon? It seems the price is lagging now.

Soon? IMHO, I don't think so.
Based on chart? I don't think so too.
Monero is for long-term and not a get-rich-quick medium.

Crosspost:

multisig is ready for testing: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/6gx7zm/hello_fellow_human_beings_lets_help_test_multisig/

If you can help out with testing, I would think it would speed up the delivery date (I'm not a dev...just my guess). To make it even easier, if you're on Ubuntu 16.04 or an Ubuntu-like OS, here's a script to download and compile the test software. Save it as install-XMR-multisig-test.sh

Jaxx's shitcoins wallet is piece of crap.  No wonder they couldn't integrate real cryptocoin like Monero. Their technical limit is the adding of only bitcoin copy-pasted shitcoins like dash and bytecoin lol.

you do know that bytecoin is no bitcoin clone but the "father" of monero do you?

I believe this is our last trip under $50 USD. I expect the next move to clear $70 or higher.

Is it good time for monero to invest?

This was answer on reddit fro someone that asked same question. He was speculation is it better now or after 1st August BTC collapse.

I honestly think XMR is extremely undervalued right now. I mean see the price of DASH and ZCash both of which are inferior to Monero in privacy and legitimacy of launch.
Monero hasn't had a big pump like that others in last few months. There has been modest but steady growth. BUT there are finally big news coming up. (Just take a look at r/monero).
1.There are mobile wallets for Android/iOS and mac/PC which include
   - MyMonero (Completed and in testing now - few weeks to release)
   - Coinomi posted today they are also working on Monero right now.
   - Jaxx also announced they are working on adding Monero now. That's 3 mobile wallets soon to be released.
2. Hardware wallet support. XMR is going to added to Nano very soon.
3. Kovri. Alpha soon. This should make XMR EVEN more secure and private. https://getmonero.org/knowledge-base/moneropedia/kovri
4. Multi sig - needed for escrow a big boon for using XMR in DNMs and other markets ready to be released on testnet.
5. Possible rumors of addition to Coinbase.
Even if a few of these things don't happen before August I still think upside of XMR price is way more than the down side at least in the short term. Hence I really think this is a good entry point into XMR considering the lul its facing now with ETH/LTC etc pumping.
Obviously I hold XMR and so my opinion might be biased.

I agree 100% the Bolded is just so important and people just seem to ignore the fact that Zcrap can possibly print infinite coins and the massive premine for dash with the fork that shut down the block reward to make that premine so immense. It's just baffling to me that people can afford to throw money at these coins without knowing the coins history and faults!

I'd be happy to find myself on the right side of a relentless bear market characterized by the general destruction of market confidence and total collapse in faith of cryptocurrency leading all the way until 2020 ish, not gonna lie.

Me 2, I need time to accumulate. My income is too low to just grab a few k's worth. Especially with the taxman trying to sell my home off. Grrr I hate this states laws, legal thievery!

My speculative thoughts run currently along these lines.

1.  The majority of bullshit alts MUST fail.  I'm not even counting ETH.  That's it's own bullet point.  But Dash?  Bytecoin?  A hundred other scammy projects?

2.  As to ETH... it does offer interesting tech.  But..
     a. It has broken (and forked) once.  It will almost certainly break again.
     b. No one really knows if we actually NEED the tech ETH offers.

When these things happen we will see the value of the ALTS drop wildly.

Questions:

What will happen to BTC?  Seems like lot's of money flees back to it.
What will happen to XMR? It has always run a bit contrary to the ALT runup.  Will it reciprocate in the altpocalypse?

Will XMR drop, hold or rise with BTC?

Or... is all that rambling misplaced, and the crypto markets are on a healthy realistic trajectory?   Shocked

Is it good time for monero to invest?

It has always been a good time to invest since the initial listing as long as your planning on hloding long term

i totally agree ! im hloding now for 3 years now but if i really need to be honest , it does hurt a little to see ethereum at 8 times the price of monero today... it would be nice if monero
had that value Smiley, hope we still see 100 this year Cheesy  anyhow i am hodling long time !!!

The common opinion is that Monero is way under priced in terms of btc value. Idk the usd value because of all the crypto world hype lately. There are lots of centralized, instamined, copy pasted, all PR coins, whales hedge coins etc etc that are suspiciously very overpriced now. And Monero which has none of these problems is super under priced right now (in terms of btc value cos' I think real btc price should be like 200-300$).
