took another look at CK (and started to enrol) still looks mega complicated, where are the newbie guides.

I also saw is stories of people who starved or lost all their stuff or got stuck in a hole or something? what's that all about? do the winners take from the losers like all other markets?

If you want to just trade, the account costs 50 monero's, is that right?

The first cryptocurrency to be able to run a full node on an android phone. - Guess which one?
Yeah ... Monero of course.

Nice.  I'm gonna have to try that.  Been using GnuRoot Debian. Can't get the daemon to sync the blockchain, so I gave up on monerod and just been using monero-wallet-cli and remote nodes.  Would be cool if this new android implementation actually syncs the blockchain.

Also I think it's too late for me, I can't see DASH other than for the broken scamcoin it is.  Cheesy

LOL, oh yeah absolutely... for me too.

Before their most recent big DashPump I *did* used to hold a small amount of Dash (unfortunately dumped it all just a short time before the big P&D started).

But the attention their pump brought to them led me to *finally* dig in deeper and investigate what Dash was all about.  I was bummed out that I missed the gain from ten bucks to their $100 peak but even NOW that the price has fallen back to fifty bucks-ish range, I have ZERO INTEREST in buying back *any* Dash... "broken scam coin" indeed.

It just takes a little effort at self-education and the facade that the Dashers have erected to conceal their rot underneath falls away like cheap wallpaper glued over black mold encrusted plaster, LOL

wow, this nutildah guy is one nutty troll.
His justification for hating XMR could be equally levelled at BTC (where cult-like observation is far more frequent), yet he identifies himself as professional blogger on the subject.
And the ad hom attacks on individuals seem borne of spite and malice towards people he's never met, a display of the sociopathy he accuses them of.
All rather hypocritical.

You're on ignore...."son"

That's why I said eat your own dog food.

Talking about hatred and hurting people, with a hate filled hurtful post.  Is almost funny.

So, Kraken has added Dash now -- seems likely that's the "large exchange coming soon" that the Dashers have been claiming.

The good side of this IMHO means that probably it's now *more* likely for Monero than Dash to be next coin coming to COINBASE.

Srsly I cannot see how it could be possible *now* for Armstrong to decide against XMR in favor of Dash first, especially considering Lee's POV on it *and* considering the DashPump has retraced more than halfway already.

As long as the "large exchange coming soon" could've been coinbase that may not have been as clear, but now that Dash on Kraken is announced, I think it's even more likely than not that XMR will be next up for CB.

Kraken:  Hi, we've been too busy adding dash trading to answer your support ticket for FIVE DAYS.

Gee, really excites me to use their exchange.  Many options these days, thankfully.

My hatred for Monero stems from the fact that guys like Smooth

No doubt they lost hundreds of people thousands of dollars based on broken promises and flat lies.

If you can't come up with specific broken promises or lies, then you are just a garden variety troll. I'm not aware that I have engaged in any of either (in fact likely no promises at all, much less broken ones).

Individual traders are responsible for their own profits and losses, always.

Fortunately no one takes your false claims (aka actual lies) seriously.

BTW, I've only typed on Poloniex trollbox a tiny handful of times. Most often I completely ignore it.

My favorite thing about decentralized money is that it doesn't really matter what personalities are involved, as long as it works.

If that logic makes me a sociopath, then I appreciate your compliment Smiley

If I remember correctly Nutildah lost a lot of money on Monero in 2014 and has been bitter about it ever since.

Hahahaha... good one. The only time I ever bough XMR was to sell it at crucial downswings to make sure the price went down. So yes, in effect I lost money on Maneuro. But I wouldn't say it was more than $10.

If I remember correctly Nutildah lost a lot of money on Monero in 2014 and has been bitter about it ever since. Rather than blaming his own trading strategies concerning risk/reward, instead he chose to hate the entire project. He's one of the most vicious individuals that's ever graced this thread (or any other thread) and is totally ignorant/misinformed about pretty much every aspect of Monero.

They saw a way to profit off of a new technology (that they more or less ripped off from BTC, like everyone else to be fair).

Wrong.

In summation, Monero sucks, its going no where because it hasn't actually proved that it can contribute shit to society. And if you buy it, well you will definitely remember these words as your BTC turns into dust, literally.

It's up 2715% since you posted this. That's some expensive dust.

Oh and then the whole Charles Manson-esque cult aspect bugged me as well. Now I don't really give a crap other than it sucks to watch evil succeed.

Oh, and that American Pegasus guy was a complete twat as well. OK I'm done now. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

If you took a breather and actually spent sometime investigating the truth of the project and the individuals you mention, you'd realise the problem is you.

You're literally like Ferris Bueller's sister.
