I've been here for a quite long time.

Monero is one of the strongest coins ever. Shortly, it has a future.
Than monero is better than zcash?

Of course.

Bought a couple today but couldn't the order filled. Looks to me like there is a whale exiting from the spike this morning on. Lots of uncertainty right now, we all know it's going to break back up but when is the question? Watching the movement makes the FOMO kick in. Lol

As with all new connective technology, those entities and nations that embrace it will become dominant forces on the world stage and those that deny it will find themselves as third world relics of the past.

You can now pay any bill in Australia with Monero.

P.S. Reading reddit posts I conclude that after the multisig completion the major point of interest by Monero devs is going to be the integration in openbazaar, jaxx, exodus, coinomi etc..
It is weird that you can do that with monero now but fort he past 8 years I have been trying to find a place that can pay my bills in BITCOIN nevertheless and still couldn’t find any.
Goes to show you how big bitcoin is in some countries that they even get to altcoin markets but it is still unheard of mostly in some countries that even bitcoin can’t be used in many places.

Countries that will allow crypto adoption most will gain most on long term. New companies will start or even move there people will move there. Some countries understand that others dont.
Whatever you will technically and legally be able to do with BTC you will soon latter be able to do also with Monero and other coins.

I'm in usdt ATM so need to mave back in to either btc (to day trade) or XMR today, So whats your opinions on this? Is BTC going to hold steady/drop vs usdt or is it the time to go straight to xmr at this point? Glad I haven't bought any alts last few days, I thought they were all oversold. but that XRP and then LTC short last few days have been nailbiters! Cheesy

Just need the reverse service now, so clients pay using BPay then you receive XMR

Now there's a thought...

Imagine a top executive of the NYSE pumping his private company on twitter and elsewhere just before, surprise surprise, the NYSE announces that they're going to list this company on their exchange.

It wouldn't happen.

Of course Lee wants Litecoin to succeed. He probably owns a shitload of them. And, no doubt, he's worked hard and long on LTC. But, for heaven's sake, how can we expect the financial world at large to take Crypto seriously when these type of shenanigans go on?

It's not really the same thing. I understand where you're coming from, but relative to some of the more serious shenanigans that go on in the cryptospace, this isn't particularly all that meaningful. I suppose it helps to have a good understanding of some of the finer intrinsics concerning Litecoin's narrative thus far; a comedic dimension concerning Litecoin's way overdue adoption on Coinbase despite the fact that Lee works there and thus clearly has no power or insight into Armstrong's thinking. In fact the more I think about it, it was something of an awkward twitter exchange anyway, possibly Lee forcing Armstrong's hand, or the symptoms of an inside joke that is exactly the type of thing that gets misinterpreted on Twitter.

Much more of an alarm-bell was Wang Chun from f2pool (35% of LTC's hash rate) tweeting as SegWit approached 70%:-

Quote
I’ve to reconsider segwit on LTC. It makes copy code from BTC harder if LTC to activate it but BTC does else. No good news to LTC’s devel.

...before adding in a few lols, and then finally reiterating his support for SegWit after the LTC price had crashed somewhat.

I don't know, maybe you're right. Maybe everyone's just a cunt. But at least in the context of twitter it's accessible, transparent, and subject to analysis.

I've been thinking this for some days now and this seems to confirm it:

https://twitter.com/matt_odell/status/849990500853723136

Anyone else agree that this seems to be a blatant pump by Lee and Coinbase not to mention a conflict of interest?

odd contrast with fluffypony telling people not to buy monero  Cheesy

Yeah. I have to say that Lee has really sunk in my estimation. And Armstrong.

Really, the shit that happens in Cryptos just wouldn't be allowed to happen elsewhere.

I don't really see it that way to be honest. If Litecoin was intended to be a pump and dump, then yeah these actions would be suspect.

However in this instance, Lee just wants Litecoin to succeed, and is thus trying to encourage enthusiasm and support for the project in an environment where LTC has typically been shat on by developers who don't see the point of it. Increased trade volume has always been something of a prequisite for Coinbase adoption, so renewing speculative interest in conjunction with a long-term development strategy makes a lot of sense.

And though he is a self-declared troll on twitter (as with fluffypony) his motivations are well intended and scam-free. (In my opinion).
