I've had deposits stuck in "limbo" with cryptsy for 14+ days, all the while being told the wallet is down for maintenance.
 

Hi, this is why we stopped deposit at cryptsy awhile back ago.
We have nothing stuck there since i already watched the issue from more than a month.
All coins are safe, thats why we initiated our OTC thread, to try and get more direct trading.

Revenues from asset fund is distributed, and this week gave 157.000XQN.

We will process the weekly revenue distribution tomorrow.
This weeks distribution will be smaller, not because we have staked less but the fact we did not sell all coins due to the current Cryptsy exchange issues.
This is why we made the OTC thread and our offer to buy our weekly staked coins by bids.

Some options to consider:
A) Compounding the stake we can't sell on Cryptsy.
B) Wait till we can sell it OTC.
C) Wait for Cryptopia to reply to our proposal to move all our trades there if we could get XQN and our assets listed.
D) Deposit the stakes to Stakeminers account for them to stake and trade/sell via their networks.
E) Take a gamble with Cryptsy.
We are still able to sell some on Bittrex, but Cryptsy is kind of the home for high PoS coins in general.

I'm really glad to see all the progress being done to support the coin, thank you IW.   I think if we all make suggestions and help out the project could take off again.  These types of coins are prone to large fluctuations in value and many people were understandably disappointed when things fell apart earlier.  If we work together perhaps we can come up with some attractive applications (like Florin coin) that can be built using the narration field or other features of the wallet.  There are many things we could try if there is interest in the community plus the right incentives.  I've been trying to think of good ways to do this; I really liked the original AI/machine learning idea it would be something of value, maybe we can find an easier approach to make this type of thing work?

I'll try to do what I can to help out.  I've checked in the code for showing the “total” in the transaction register so if you build the lightsplasher fork https://github.com/lightsplasher/Quotient.git you can see how much you stake in total per day, month, etc.  Again, please use caution in where you get compiled files from if you don't do it yourself.

I think it is important to describe what the asset fund actually represents ownership of.                               
The asset fund represents the ownership of the rights to the revenue sharing in the mined PoS of various held coins, at a minimum of 10BTC worth, not the coins themselves but again, in the revenue from the sale of the mined PoS of those coins.
This revenue is to be distributed in XQN, using the counterparty token XQNTOKEN as the distribution method.

During last month, I had to add to the holdings to keep up with falling prices to maintain the 10btc value. The actual value is a lot more, but I said 10btc to be sure I was able to maintain it even with falling prices.
Since altcoins change very much, the overall value of PoS fund would be too volatile if we "locked" a set amount of coins.
I think we need it to be floating, and I am supporting the value with other holdings.
We received a donation of 5K of YOVI, added it to our asset fund and we will use some YOVI coin for promotions or giveaways as learning how to stake and such.
Our XQN,XCE and YOVI holdings, are not calculated in the 10Btc value.

We will make a list with our average weekly POS staking.
Please PM me if you are interested in bidding on the PoS coins mined, want to make a higher offer, or want a long term commitment on any of the mined coins or as a lot.
If you want to contribute to this project, bid for some of our stake as all income goes into XQN.
The counterparty Token XQNTOKEN can be held, traded for XQN itself to trade, stake or hold.

I don't care if original dev was scam and dumped the coin, he might be dead aswell or just tired of life, but remember that when Satoshi made bitcoin and died or disappeared he prove to the world that a tech can survive with it's open source nature not by "Dev existence, dev is scam etc" if people believe in the platform and want it, they can take over and build it, I am into crypto for the sake of contributing my part to the blockchain and revolution.

I am into XQN, and if the current dev turns out into scam that wont change a thing, I would continue being into XQN and still will revive it, as it belongs to the people, to the network not to a person, we should be thankful that this dev is trying hard to improve this client and come with new ideas instead of clones of bitcoin/peer and others.

and I would like to see this platform used not only as a future investment or trading platform but into usable currency as well, which is not a far dream if we have the right people that believe in this.

I am actually glad for XQN this is a big chance when the coin was almost dead and is revived, it's time you can be an early adopter, contribute and have fun!

Yes i am just asking our of curiousity not of accusational reasons. I think your explanation does make sense.

I understand your concern for this, but that way would have left xqn community in total loss.
We could also left the cerium project holders at a loss, but we choose to stand for what had been promised and deliver OUR vision on how it could be.
This operation is about more than it appears to, and this we hope will be proven over time.
Yes ofc we have invested more in XQN, most of our holdings is actually bought AFTER we made this takeover public.
"scammers" or others will dump sooner or later, then only true supporters is left.
Imagine what could happend if we managed to rescue, not only 1 scam coin but 2 projects at once?
What if we could repeat it over and over again?

Because a scam group does not own the coins, and it would not be in association with that. Why piggy back on a scam coin instead of start fresh is my question. Maybe it was just convenience sake.

Why is a new chain forked from XQN github better?
