When you least expect it, Vcash will probably moon. But I agree it needs marketing, and supposedly JC said he hired someone for that but not disclosed yet. That was a while ago......

'Vcash is not ready to be marketed' is what JC said more than year ago even before rebranding. He said that first in one IRC discussion and it seems after more than a year marketing situation remains the same while only logic moment to start with marketing is/was the moment of name change.
What my expirience in project management tells me is ... if you leave project management to progammer/coder then by their standards there will always be something to improve, finish, make better... and things will never be done as they were planed at start. And while never ending development in crypto is good, absence of marketing based on that development is nothing but stupidity.
If we add JC paranoid censorship actions on offcial platforms towards many community members (me included) and attempts of moving community from here to anywhere he is making rules than management of project starts to look like 'How little John thinks project should be managed'
Anyway, I think JC is awesome developer but any project depends on much more than only code development but it seems he doesnt think that way or at least he dosent act that way. I still have a lot of XVC but as time is going on I'm not any more sure if holding more than few BTC in XVC is reasonable. I'll leave my bags for another year just in case if something groundbreaking in price term happens but as I said I'm not sure in that scenario any more.

the "problem" still JC. He doesnt want to see the price going up ( nor down lol) so even if it were launched at early 2014 we would probably be at the same place.
and i'm no FUDing, i still believe in vcash. all i'm saying is:  as long as JC dont want to, and dont do some marketing, this will not happen.

Well, Dash had launched just at the right time to receive all the attention it has. Also it has a non-anonymous dev with a positive attitude and an active marketing campaign. Vcash has implemented most of Dash's features trying to make them work better. If Vcash appeared in early 2014 maybe it could have been in Dash's place.

I mean technology + hype always outperforms just technology on the market. Short or long term.

Didn't John say he won't deploy Zeroledger until the price reaches $0.2 (almost 2x from now)? Or did he change his mind?

when zero ledger  released, it will revolutionize the world of virtual currencies.

I'm pretty sure there are teams of people behind this technology, and they are probably accumulating all that comes to market XVC these absurd prices.

Bollinger bands announce a inminet movement may be today or in a few days.

If zero ledger shows what it claims, this currency will be revolutionary.

Awesome project!  Don't know how I missed it all this time.  Great active development.  Fantastic technology.

Could someone please post some  details about how the consensus protocol is able to achieve 1s confirmation times without a blockchain?  I've heard of theoretical work in this area, but didn't think anyone implemented it yet.  The whitepaper was well written, but did not get into the details.
