Is JC coding himself or he hired developers for his project?

Yes, xCore is an outstanding XVC community member. Not only did he make the IRC bot, scripts to help installs, helps John test code, and answers anyone's questions in IRC, he does it out of the love to learn and love of XVC, not for money.  My take, from what I  have observed over the last 2 years is that John is VERY particular and a perfectionist at what he does best, code. But he is not a perfectionist, nor tries to be one when it comes to personal relations with the community members.  So when I see someone like Hightek, Wolf, or xCore get scolded by John I think two things. One, these guys are competent and have talent, and they can change code or produce a result that might not be exactly what John envisions, or a miner that is faster than Johns, etc., and that threatens him or gets in his little personal space of coding perfection. So it does seem like he comes down hard on them. But I think rather than doing that, just like he make WeedFreddy part of the team, he should make these people part of the team, pay them in XVC, and have them do exactly what he wants (as he is the boss after all). Vcash can only thrive with these talented members on the team and with John making more and new friends and business partners, not alienating them.  Just my 2 cents, from a wise old man. Wink

this xCore's post was deleted from the official forum and also a thread created by him with a tutorial and script to install the new wallet on Linux.

I'm posting here because I dont agree that his answer has been deleted from there.

The irony is that JC was complaining on Bitcointalk while he is acting like dictator on official forum claiming that facts are actualiy SPAM, FUD and INSULTS.
Anyway I'm banned there after 2 posts he didn't like. It seems he have some serious mess in his head.
Use https://v.cash/forum/ with autocensoring turned on if you don't want my case happend to you.
Anyway I don't like his stubbornness but you dont need to like FED actions to use $.

xCore IS actually the community face of XVC, without him my interest would have been gone long ago already..

Sad to see

Bavaria I dont think it will be open source right away but maybe later on

Yes, it should be open-source "final release"
He does not want to put the source code now
Because the development of new technologies and also is a "beta"
In the near future
must show the source code to the public

I noticed that too EmilioMann. Its a shame because xCore is always in IRC and has been more than helpful with any issues people have. Don't understand Johns logic here and im done trying to understand it.
xCore's script used to update found here https://github.com/xCoreDev/vcash-scripts  worked perfect for updating my nodes

worked perfect also to me.

xCore and whphhg have wallets for donations?
