I have no idea about your first question. About the second question, i suppose it will be a Visa or Mastercard. So you will be able to pay everywhere, where they accept this card. The merchant you buy from will not even know, that you pay with your coins, as he get his payment in fiat.
And what's the point if the seller I'm buying from gets fiat? Convert it again fees, there is no benefit there.

It is also my question. Problem is what benefits shops could gain by using debit card of Coin. Beside that, Almost people don't familiar with crypto currency, even don't trust so I think the fact that applying debit card of Coin will be a long story...

The point is, that the shop dont has to do anything. If there is a shop that accepts credit cards as payment, you can use your coin-based credit card there. The shop dont even know that you pay the credit card bill in background with coins... He gets his money in fiat. So for the shop it is the same if someone use a USD Credit or debit card or a coin based credit or debit card.

But the people that want to use coins, can do so wherever they want to and whatever they want for...

Exactly that, shops don't have a clue that you have credit card loaded with crypto, they just see conversion, fiat that they get from you.The real beauty is that you as the owner of that credit card can use crypto as a payment method basicly without any restrictions and you are in complete control over your money. That is a dream that is worth paying some fees to provider of that credit card.

No miners here?

What's going on with XVG?

Something is wrong with mining at the moment .... It's not working as intented and even whattomine does NOT list Verge anymore.

Anybody any info what's going on???

the admin of whattomine is trying to redo the connection.  (seen him asking questions last night on discord)

What about all the XVG stolen from on CCEX. Can someone from the development team reply. I had 620K  XVG on CCEX. Supposedly CCEX lost over 200M XVG. Please HELP

Team cannot able to solve your issue and they don't have any control over it, why don't you contact the CCEX support and ask your concern. That's why many people are suggesting not to hold the coins in the exchange.

What about all the XVG stolen from on CCEX. Can someone from the development team reply. I had 620K  XVG on CCEX. Supposedly CCEX lost over 200M XVG. Please HELP

they told me they had a "database error" and the coins were not retrievable. something to do with how their backup operations worked.

their plan was to credit everyone the amount lost in a token, and then they would buy them back at current btc price.

pretty sad that happened, considering we've been listed on c-cex since 2014 =\

Thanks for the information. Is it possible to know the number of coins that were listed on CCEX? 190M XVG seems a little high to me.

What should devs do about that now? Why do you store your coins on an exchange?

What @kokayne said and also... 620k XVG is like 31.000€ or 37.000$, I find it hard to believe a newbie like you would have obtained such a huge amount. You're either trolling or you're rich.

You think I'm a newbie because my Bitcointalk account I'm a Jr member? But since you question the amount of coins I have here is proof, from the API information Balance":617958.56738523. I was only asking for information not for someone to be a smartass. If I developed a coin and 200+Million went missing I would want to know. We are trying to confirm that CCEX is telling the truth. THANKS

and yes. your a newbie. directly cuz your a jr member.

   that isnt much proof.

i didnt take either of their responses as being a smartass. just blunt.  (just cuz you dont like their responses, dont make them wrong)

If i remember correclty they couldnt update correctly.  They are paying off the amount slowly to those that had balances.

   Truth is a toughy.

For the ccex stuff.  do you still have your xvgct balance then?

Set it to sell at 1000 or so.    if it hits market value and they buy it at that value, then you know they were telling the truth.

(ie; you set to 1000, they have the funds to buy some of your tokens,  Market value is 780   They put up a buy order for 780. and you fill it.

   thats how it should work.

(all those idiots selling under, i dont get)

1 or 2 pts under, ok sure. u dont want to wait.  or timing etc.  but so low.  they are selling under value, makes no sense to me.

is xvg coin good to keep in the long run, and is there any potential for high bounce rates? I see xvg is being talked about a lot?

Yes, xvg coin is one of the most advance coin on crypto world. Also backed by dedicated developers that is pursuing the alternative coin for bitcoin. Thus it is a great coin to invest too. Remember last year that verge was also voted as the most promising coin of 2018. By reading the above thread, verge infrastructure are still on a great speed of implementation.

Still I wouldn't put all my money I have into one coin. Always good to be sufficiently diversified. Let's you sleep better Wink

Smart choice, do not put all your money into one place, get used to divide it into three or five different coins, so when the first coin goes down and your second coin goes up, you can still profit to cover the first coin loss, especially if all four coins you ride all, surely you profit doubled.

Not sure why you say three or five. Did you read something about that golden rule or did you come up with that yourself?

rather inane question... but I would say more than just 5.   that little runs a 20% risk...

better to hold 50 coins .
